The house was very nice, clean, comfortable, and has a lovely back yard. Two bedrooms face a busy road but it quiets down at night. The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of cooking and eating utensils, pots, pans, plates, etc. We had a minor issue with the icemaker and some kitchen outlets not working, but these were easily worked around. Overall the house was perfect for our trip to celebrate our daughter's UCSB graduation.

Stayed here while we were visiting extended family in the area for a weekend. Check-in was very easy, and all the basics we needed were in the home. House has a beautiful backyard and is in a convenient location. The only small bummer was the traffic noise along Cathedral Oaks throughout the night was tough to sleep through. Otherwise a pleasant stay. It would be a great place to stay if you have kids given the terrific backyard!

We enjoyed our stay, they were so kind to accept our reservation on a short notice. Our house was being fumigated and we were able to have our dog and cat with us. The back yard is beautiful and the space inside was clean and comfortable.

Great house for our family on a trip to visit our son for UCSB parent's weekend. As advertised. Smooth and easy transaction with attentive property owner.

Property was very accessible, clean, and easy. Thomas and Despina took care of everything to make sure the family was well-received and comfortable. Having the backyard for morning breakfasts and a family dinner was great. The room-specific air conditioners were a great touch. Thanks for helping make the family visiting very welcomed and comfortable.

Beautiful Property & Great Neighborhood
I traveled to SB/Goleta for the first time w/ my 2 small Shiba Inu dogs. I was very pleased with this property. Not only was it very clean and comfortable, it has an incredible backyard that enabled my dogs to run around and wear themselves out. Also a great neighborhood for dogwalks. Property is in close proximity to 101 freeway, stores and restaurants. Property owners were very quiet & respectful of privacy. Definitely recommend.

Nice Place But Noisy Street
The house was clean and it was easy to converse with the owners.
Our experience with the neighborhood is that the street was very busy and noisy, especially at night. With two bedrooms facing the street the noise throughout the night was an issue. That is the main reason I did not rate this place any higher than three stars.
This was the first place we have stayed that did not have a 'book of information' about the city and surrounding area. Not a big deal, but it is something for the owners to think about. Some area attractions, maps, menus, locations of stores or museums, etc. would be helpful.

Our group enjoyed our stay, in particular the lovely backyard. The furniture is a little outdated, and it felt like the floors were a little dusty. Other than that, we had a lovely time.

Weekend trip
This is a lovely small house with a beautiful back yard. The street is fairly busy so you hear some traffic, but it’s not too loud. We had a great stay and would come again!

Lovely Property
The property is situated in a very quiet and relaxing part of Santa Barbara, but conveniently accessible to the downtown areas and attractions. The home is warm and comfortable with a wonderful backyard to enjoy. The large grassy areas provide a great space to play for kids or pets and are abundant in fruit trees to enjoy delicious fresh fruit. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Perfect house!
This house met all of our needs while we were in town for a wedding. The beds were very comfortable and I looked forward to climbing into bed at the end of each day! There were plenty of towels and dishes to accommodate our group of five. We would stay here again!

Fantastic stay!
We loved how simple and efficient it was to stay at this beautiful home. The communication from Thomas and Despina was simple, clear and very welcoming. The house itself is spacious and beautifully maintained. And our kids and pup enjoyed the spacious backyard. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable home
The house was wonderful, and the owners were warm, welcoming, and friendly. The backyard is beautiful, and was a perfect place to hang out and relax after a day of sightseeing. The location is great - approximately half way between the UCSB campus and downtown, and a short drive to Highway 101. The yard was great for our little dogs, and we could relax because the space was securely fenced. Of the four adults in our group, I'm the lightest sleeper (and should emphasize that I'm an EXTREMELY light, ultra-sensitive, sleeper). The other three adults had no trouble sleeping, but the road traffic was enough to wake me in the early hours (I was in one of the front bedrooms). But the others had no problem at all. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again -- I'd just request the back (master) bedroom. On this trip, we gave that room to my 90-year old dad, so he could have his own bathroom, and be able to find it easily in the middle of the night. We loved the lemon, orange, and avocado trees, and we even juiced some oranges using the home's juicer. This house was awesome.

Very close to airport, yet beautiful residential area. Safe from wildfires and mudslides. Low risk.
Clean, comfortable and beautuful yard with lemon, orange and avocado trees and free picking. Owner helpful and non intrusive. Convenient for all our hikes and Santa Barbara visits. Well stocked for cooking or grilling. Indoor fireplace easy, didn’t try outdoor fireplace. Simple checkout. Would only suggest fixing noisy fan/ light in bathroom. Loved this place.

Perfect escape for our families
We booked this house last minute for a weekend with friends. We were two families with two kids each. The 3 and 4 year olds shared a room and the babies slept in pack and plays in our bedrooms. The house was perfect for us, with plenty of room to play, hang out, and relax. The back yard is beautiful, and the house was clean and well stocked with towels, bedding, etc. Great location 15 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, the beach, and more. We would definitely go back!

Great for Families
A perfect large, comfortable home for families. Everything a person could possible need to stay for a week or so is provided in the home, even an iron and ironing board for those last minute wrinkles. Warm, comfortable, inviting, and lots of eclectic art pieces for your viewing pleasure. Extremely clean. I highly recommend renting this home. Hopefully, we will be coming back, too!
