From the photos we could tell we were in for a treat! Robert’s get away was exactly what we needed and was just the right distance from towns, Yellowstone, shopping, dining, and the gorgeous mountains
House was extremely well thought out and stocked with many necessities.
Very comfortable living area, magnificent views from all windows and the deck. Also great sleeping quarters
We definitely would be repeat customers.
Seeing the vast starry sky was top on the favorite list

We loved watching sunrises and sunsets from the expansive rear deck. This beautiful home served our needs well and made our Yellowstone adventure grand! Robert is very responsive and answered all our questions & needs. We look forward to our next visit!

Property had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub a few morning and nights during your stay and watching the deer pass by. We were not able to use the king bed that we wish we could have (it was one of the reasons we booked the property) due to the small steep stairs leading to the king bed upstairs due to fear of falling down the stairs in the middle of the night when going to use the restroom. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

If I could give this property 20 stars I would. We could not have picked a better place for three extended families. We each had our own rooms that allowed us time away from each other after very long days in Yellowstone, but could come together for watching TV, meal times and hot tub time. My only suggestions would be to add a TVs to the bedrooms to allow members time away from each other after very long days in park and to watch separate shows. This was our only issue with this VRBO. There is only one TV in the whole place.
The basement was like its own apartment having a small kitchen area (stove, sink, counters), bedroom and bathroom. Robert, the owner went above and beyond for my request asking if there was a small table for the basement kitchen area so I could use my laptop for work. He responded quickly and was able to secure a folding table from a friend and brought it right over. Talk about exception service WOW!! This allowed me to be able to work undisturbed from the other family members when I needed to login for a couple hours of scheduled testing.
While it is about 30-40 minutes from the Gardiner North Entrance to Yellowstone, I would pick this place again and again. Gorgeous scenery from deck and the drive to Yellowstone. We never felt that it was a long way to Yellowstone. The hot tub was so needed after long days. We watched wildlife from the deck; Deer, Coyotes and Birds.
When the time came to pack up and leave, we all lollygagged as none of us want

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just as described. The mountain views were amazing and we enjoyed the hot tub, both during the day and with the starry evening sky above at night. There were four little deer (two males and a female and fawn) that stayed close to the cabin throughout our stay. Robert was an attentive host, responding immediately to our request for add'l towels. We had no problem finding the cabin and liked the close proximity to the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking (i.e, pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave, towels, etc., as described) and we enjoyed great meals cooked on the propane grill on the deck. Thank you, Robert, for sharing this great place with our family!

My husband and I just spent a week at this rental and it is absolutely perfect. Great location, wonderful views, and the owner is great at communicating. The hot tub was definitely one of the best parts of the home. My husband and I can’t wait to book again.

This was our second stay at Robert's place. The first being the summer of 2019. One of the best vacation homes we have rented. Very clean. Great views and the best stocked kitchen (pots, dishes, glasses, silverware and spices) of any property we have previously rented. Robert is very easy to work with and very responsive. Recommend without reservation. Greg

The stay was great and centrally located for our needs. Great to wake up every morning to see Deer yards away from the house. Robert couldn't have been more helpful than he was, answered all questions promptly, helpful in information about the area and gave input as to what was in the good to do, things to see or try. Weather was great and saw thunderstorms pass to the south which was quite a show. YNP 1/2 hour away(generally spent most of our stay there) which was the main reason for our family get together. Will defintely be looking to use next time that way, thanks again for letting us use your home.

The house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. It provided a lovely setting for days we just laid low without planned activities. The host was responsive and very helpful. Paradise Valley hiking and river fun were just a short drive away, 5 to 10 minutes. And getting to Yellowstone couldn't have been easier. We had a wonderful experience here!

Great secluded private location away from touristy areas near the park. Beautiful 30 minute drive to/from the park each day. Perfect home away from home for my family of five. Views are spectacular in every direction. Only issue was WiFi never worked but we really didn’t miss it. Overall, great escape from busy city life!

The night before check in, we found out from previous reviews that the hot tub wasn’t working so we complained to the owner. A simple message stating that we were disappointed that we weren’t made aware. The morning of check in, the owner cancelled on us and left us without a place to stay! Thankfully, VRBO support is awesome and saved our vacation!

Located in the Paradice Valley, very nice area. The hot tub is wonderful and relaxing. Many mule deer in the area and they come by daily to eat from the crabapple tree. House is in good condition. Note the king bed is up some very steep and narrow stairs. The queen beds are in separate rooms and are comfortable. The house was clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. The owner is very responsive and pleasant to talk with and takes care of any issues quickly. Close to the north entrance of Yellowstone, just be sure it is open prior to booking. We had to drive 3 hours around every day to get into the park. Great eating at the local restaurants and local entertainment.

The cabin was amazing!! The only downfall was when we booked this cabin the Yellowstone North entrance was open. So we had to drive 2 1/2 hours to get into Yellowstone. A little disappointed the hot tub was out of order but still a great place to stay.

Was comfortable and very private. We enjoyed the great views from the deck. We had some issues getting the WIFI to work and finally resolved by re-booting the router which is located on the upper floor. One morning one of the smoke detectors went off in the entry hallway. A bit annoying but not that big of a deal. After speaking with the owner we removed and disabled the smoke detector. The stairs to the upper floor are as listed. Very very steep and uneven and the sleeping space upstairs is very hot and not usable. Part of the air system is not working on the upper floor. The biggest disappointment was that the hot tub was not operational, a feature we were looking forward to. This was not brought to our attention until the day of our arrival while we were in route. The owner had known about it for over 2 months trying to repair a breaker and then decided to install a new tub which was not complete for our visit. Why we were not given a heads up much earlier is beyond me. We may have cancelled our trip had we know this earlier. The weather was nice but it was very windy at this location most everyday during our stay. Fortunately the house does block the wind so the deck area is usable for the most part.
We enjoyed the area and was worth seeing but it is not an area we would visit again.

We had a wonderful time and basically the house suited our 3 generation family needs. By far the best part of this house is the back deck! We spent hours out there watching the mountains and stars. Robert was a terrific host and immediately responsive to all needs. Just an FYI to those, like me, that are challenged by stairs - there are a lot of stairs that need to be maneuvered. If that isn't a problem for you, then it isn't a problem! I thought not having a dishwasher would be a problem but I actually enjoyed doing dishes with the family. We all took turns washing and drying and it ended up being a bonding time. Thank you Robert!

Heaven on Earth!
The views keep us coming back! We enjoy staying in Emigrant, and this time we brought some good friends with us to introduce them to Montana's Paradise Valley! The house is fantastic, and the host are very kind and accommodating. The upstairs bedroom has a steep set of stairs, and the house has another staircase down to the basement bedroom. The main floor is spacious and has views from the kitchen and living room! I am already ready to come back. You won't regret booking this cabin. Come enjoy the natural beauty of the area!

Location exceptional - house had its quirks- likely rent again
Location, views and deck were spectacular, as well as fire-pit and visiting mule deer each evening. Host Robert always responsive. House somewhat weird - main floor great with great kitchen, nice living area, 2 good bedrooms and bathrooms, with A/C and heat thermostat, and lots of big windows / natural light. Unfortunately, only temp control was for main floor. Upstairs bedroom treacherous due to tiny and steep steps (I fell 1st day) and we declared unsafe to use (also super hot. Basement bedroom and bath very nice but no temp control - super cold down there all the time, eventually brought a space heater down which helped, but gonna be freezing in winter (we there 1st week June and in 40s at night) and slept in layers. We had problems accessing internet first 2 days and Robert worked hard (you need password not supplied by VRBO), but eventually worked out. Hot tub not working all 8 days due to part broke, on order. All that said, the location and views and privacy, along with main floor set up made up for top and bottom floor difficulties. We had 4 adults and 2 kids ages 7 and 10 and we all miss those mornings and evenings at the house, it was such an awesome setting and very comfortable (if you didn't need the upstairs bedroom and could survive the cold basement bedroom).
BTW, We are from Hawaii so are temperature tolerances aren't too good!

Beautiful Views!!
This property was wonderful. Easy scenic 30 minute drive to north entrance of Yellowstone. Home was very clean and spacious for our family of 8. Has every Amenity you could think of right down to laundry detergent. We had deer that visited off the back deck every morning. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The hot tub was not working which was a bummer because everyone was looking forward to that but Robert was very quick to respond with updates on if it would be fixed during our stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us we had a great time.

Really nice to be able to stay in a rural area in the mountains and close to Yellowstone National Park. Soaking at Chico Hot Springs was a nice way to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Awesome place to stay and highly recommended!!!
What an amazing stay. We came up here for our 1 year anniversary and the views from this home alone were worth the trip. We spent 2 days in Yellowstone touring the park where we encountered several herds of Elk and Bison traveling directly beside our car! We even decided to name a bison calve Pippin. We spent one day in Jackson Hole and visited the Teton National Park. Check out the Silver Dollar Bar. The food is incredible and the bar tops are even more so. We spent time in Bozeman and Livingston. Wonderful people and beautiful towns. The rest of our time spent here was in this home due to the snow. The folks at Follow Yer Nose are friendly and know their way around a smoker. And if you happen to forget anything the general store has everything.
Robert has a lot to offer and is very helpful and attentive. We were very comfortable and plan on returning.

Great place with an amazing view.
The view off the back porch is amazing and the hot tub makes it that much better. With a few local restaurants in town and close to Yellowstone and other towns this location is hard to beat. Would definitely stay again.

Scenic and Isolated, But Close to What You Need
This is a sizable house in a fairly remote location with fantastic surrounding scenery. Essentials can still be obtained in town and with an easy 30 minute drive you can find other entertainment, restaurants, etc. including Yellowstone. The house has plenty of room for large groups/family to spread out, great deck to enjoy the view from a lounge chair or hot tub.

Emigrant in Paradise
We truly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Valley Getaway. The views were lovely, the house was clean and comfortable. The location in Paradise Valley made for easy access to Yellowstone National Park, and there are multiple great restaurant options within a couple of miles if you don't feel like cooking. Our host Robert was very invested in making our stay comfortable...he even bought a coffee grinder for the property when I asked if they had one. Robert was quick to reply when we had questions about the rental. Thank you, Robert. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay near YNP.

Absolutely perfect! Amazing views and access to everything!
House was perfect for what we needed! Plenty of space for us all to be together and/or relax and rest separately! Backyard was beautiful and perfect for unwinding after long day!!!! The location by far exceeded my expectations! We started in Bozeman and from this property we visited Yellowstone several times, went to gardiner and big sky!!!! This was also super close to some amazing “must do’s” like the “wild flour bakery”, “Follow yer nose BBQ” AND “The old saloon”! Beautiful wildlife all around us and even several “visitors” to the house! The stairs to the upper bedroom were a little steep but it was fine for us! The house was well stocked and it provided everything we needed for a great vacation!!!!! ❤️ Robert was a great host and even let me know when I left my backpack behind! He was attentive and supportive throughout our time there! ❤️

We had an awesome stay at this property! Robert was very attentive when we needed some thing while we were there. Views were amazing, deer visited daily and the location was great to get to Yellowstone, Gardiner, Livingston and Bozeman, all within one hour! Highly recommend this property.

Paradise in Paradise Valley
Robert was an exceptional host with a timely response to any question. The property exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect location to explore Yellowstone and rafting, horseback riding and ziplining activities. We looked forward coming home for some relaxation time in the hot tub overlooking Emigrant Peak. The air conditioning provided welcome relief from the higher summer temperatures during our week. Thank you for the hospitality!

Very enjoyable time we had at this cabin. Very comfortable and nice. Only thing I have to say is that the jacuzzis jets did not work, but other than that everything was fantastic!

We had a great stay. Beautiful property. It was clean and fit 4 adults easily. Kitchen had all the dishes and utensils needed, and even had some popcorn and granola bars left out for us. The only suggestion I would have to be to have a few extra blankets around at night or a larger comforter for the bedding. Overall I'd give the place 4.9 stars. Would definitely recommend and would like to stay again.

Perfect Yellowstone Home Base
This house was the perfect location for our first trip to Yellowstone. The house was very comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of 5. The views can’t be beat! The kitchen was stocked with spices, coffee, aluminum foil, and plenty of pots and pans. We flew into Bozeman, got groceries in Livingston at Albertsons, and then drove into Emigrant. It’s about a 30 minute scenic drive to the north entrance to Yellowstone. The hot tub was a welcome respite after a tough day of hiking! My only complaint is that the steps to the upstairs bedroom are very shallow and steep, so do not wear socks on them! Robert was very communicative throughput and most helpful with anything we needed. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful location!

As nice as they are, the photos used for this listing do not do justice to how incredible the views from this property are. Every morning and every evening our group would sit outside in awe at the beautiful Beartooth mountains. They are truly breathtaking. Additionally, if you are planning to visit Yellowstone as we did, this is the perfect location. First, it's a half an hour from the North Entrance to Yellowstone which makes it an easy drive in each day. Second, it's only an hour from Bozeman which makes getting there easy. Third, it's a 20 minutes from an actual grocery store which makes life so much easier when you're touring the park each day. This is a great house with everything you would need for a satisfying trip. Robert was an excellent host. He was always responsive with any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.We would return here in a heartbeat.

Paradise in Paradise Valley
This property was the perfect cozy gem in the middle of a beautiful mountain valley, with amazing views from the HUGE back deck with hot tub! It was great-sized for our group of four, and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped for cooking and living room perfect for games and movies on cold winter nights. We spent the Thanksgiving holiday here during COVID times, and it was everything we needed. The town of Emigrant is nearby for basic supplies, and Livingston only a bit further for more options. Robert was an incredible host, extremely responsive, flexible with our check-in time, and accommodating of all of our questions upfront. We WILL be back!
