We weee on a fishing trip, only spent nights at the house. Small property, quiet location. Probably better suited for couples. No A/C in lower level, however the nighttime air was cooler so not bad once the house cooled down.

The property was in a great location with a beauty view of the mountains. Located very close to many hiking trails and Chico Hot Spring. Property owners are close by if you need anything and are very friendly and pleasant. My family had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again in the future.

This property was spectacular, with majestic views of the mountains from inside and out. The view at sunset is a must see,(the golden hour) Emigrant Peak looks like it is covered in gold!
The owner had great communication, met us at the time of check in to show us around and make sure we didn’t have any questions about the rental.
We had complete privacy during our stay.
The owners definitely thought ahead for outside travelers flying in as they provided some great essentials for us to use that we didn’t think of when shopping before we arrived like hand soap, dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and even a great hair dryer. So when we departed we made sure to leave what we bought behind as well.

We had a wonderful time staying in this house and its location. We did a ton of hiking around outside the park (we had dogs) and also spent two different days in Yellowstone. The location worked out well and the host made us feel welcomed.

House was in a cool location. Cool views. Gas and restaurant within 5 mins. Owners met us at property to show us around house. Answered a request within a few minutes. Yellowstone was more like 45 mins away.

Nice house with fantastic view. The layout is a bit funky (downstairs bedroom can only be entered from outside) but has nice art and nice furniture. Owner was very friendly.

The only thing you are paying for is the view but not worth it when you are being watched the whole time.
Small home with some oddities but well furnished. Lots of moths and some spiders.
Not a bad place if you are a small party and don't plan to have visitors (host called when 4 friends arrived at 5:30pm saying, "We discussed no parties.") We were having friends over for dinner. He questioned who and how many were staying the night even though literature in home suggests, "extra mats for additional sleeping arrangements are available."
I am 55 years old and had different parts of my family with me during my stay. My parents and sister stayed with me one night and then my grown children the next 2 nights.
I felt like I was being treated like a teenager - everything I did was questioned. Ridiculous - I will not stay here again.

Can't beat the location!
The house did everything we needed it to and the grounds were beautiful.
The location is fantastic being right up the mountain from a neat saloon, really good bakery and some tasty BBQ!
Chico hot springs is a must when you are here and there are quite a few good hikes in the area as well.

Nice home and view
The whole house very nice. We sat up high in the tall hillside with great view of the mountains and the valley The owner was very helpful and informative, especially with the flood that was going on with Yellowstone and the river valley. It was nice to hangout and explore the area considering couldn't get to Yellowstone. We would stay there again.

Heaven!
We loved this stay so much! Stayed with my older son who took the downstairs, and I took the upstairs! So cozy and comfortable. The views are divine and it's just so peaceful! The house had everything you need and super clean. Roeby and his wife were so nice, and we really appreciated them accommodating our dogs. Five stars all the way around!

The ad absolutely does not do this place justice - the views are absolutely incredible. The house has everything you need. Would probably be a bit small with 6, but perfect for two couples. The host is really kind and attentive. Would absolutely stay again - best views of any VRBO I’ve ever stayed in.

Yellow Stone
As the title suggests this is what we came to see. This property is about a 40 minute drive from the northern entrance to the park where many of the geothermal features can be found a short distance in. The park does not disappoint. We found the property to be very clean, comfortable, exactly as described with views extending over a valley and the small town of Emigrant below.

Perfect location if you want to stay in Paradise Valley at a reasonable price.
Everything went very smoothly and Roeby was very nice and helpful. We will probably stay there again next year when we visit MT.

Very comfortable little house with a great view!
This was the perfect sized place for our needs. We were on a hunting trip in the area, and only spent a few hours at night in the house. Everything is very accessible with a few small stores for immediate needs at the bottom of the hill. Livingston a short way to the north and Yellowstone a short way to the south. The owner was kind enough to meet us at the house for a late check in after our long flight. A wonderful first visit to Montana!

Nice quiet place to write, relax and is a good base for exploring
Very comfortable, nicely decorated small house with a spectacular view. Loved the living room/kitchen and back deck. Everything we expected and for a very good price. It is close to Yellowstone without the noise and expense. It is ten minutes from Chico Hot Springs and if you want a good burger just head to River's Edge (10 minutes). There were two of us and the place was absolutely perfect. If a couple had one or two kids it would be fine too. The description says it can sleep six and that would work but would be quite tight but certainly would allow saving money especially if you were out hiking all day and just need a place to sleep. Overall I rate this place highly. We expect to come back again. The owners are also very nice and available and make sure everything is as you want it.

Fabulous views!
A cozy little house with an amazing view. I loved sitting on the porch with my coffee and looking out over the valley. Owners were friendly and provided helpful tips about the area.

For the most part...disappointed
The place is very private. It is very small and in no way accommodates six people. There are two small beds that are uncomfortable and one would be hard pressed to sleep two adults. The third bed is a couch that is very narrow and uncomfortable as well. He has two futons which are put on the floor but this makes it impossible to walk around. The upper is separated from the downstairs and one needs to walk outside to access it. It is a modified basement. No shower and a strange toilet is shared with the washer and dryer.. The kitchen is tiny and makes cooking for a group difficult. Utensils are old, the kind your kids take to college. It is not within walking distance to the shops in Emigrant. We left the place as one would leave a hotel room and were charged for cleaning. The place was not trashed by any means and the shower was only used one time. I would never stay there again.

Wonderful first time trip to Yellowstone
Beautiful view, nice clean house
Owner is very nice and accommodating. We recommend staying here to anyone looking for a place to stay. The little town of Emigrant is sweet and I recommend a trip odow to the Old Saloon too.

Great Place!
Cabin was cute, view is beautiful. Easy access to north entrance of Yellowstone. Lovely hospitality as well.

Beautiful setting, good access to Yellowstone, nice place to stay!
The home is settled in the foothills of the Paradise Valley, a few miles from the main highway. The mountain views were impressive, and from the windows in the house we saw deer, mountain bluebirds, rabbits, and other wildlife. The home was as described, with suitable sleeping arrangements and pads for kids on the floor. There was a nice fire pit with firewood provided off the back porch that worked great for a hot dog roast and s'mores in the evening. As mentioned in other reviews, the drive to Yellowstone is about 30 mins up a beautiful canyon along the Yellowstone River. We didn't make it to the hot springs or to any of the stores in town, but it provided a great and affordable spot for our visit to Yellowstone.
The owners were very kind and friendly, providing a personal tour of the house to begin our stay. They were responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and readily available during our stay. Overall, this was a nice place to stay and met our needs perfectly for a long weekend trip to Yellowstone.
