We were here for a mini family reunion, and it was perfect! If you have small kids, they will love the upstairs. Check out the toy closet! The house had everything we needed, and was close to Yellowstone, Chico, etc.
Host was easy to work with. We would definitely come back.

Perfect! Everything was great and as advertised. We were coming for a mid week wedding at Copper Ranch in Pray and a combined trip with another family from Chicago. The house was in a perfect location for the wedding and getting to Yellowstone.
The check in and out process was easy. We received the appropriate amount of communication from the owner/host.
Because everyone else has stated it “the house is so clean”. 😉. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want or need. We had four adults, two teenagers and one 5 yrs old in our group. Enough rooms for each kid and two big enough rooms for the adult couples. We enjoyed and utilized the upstairs game/movie theater space. The is enough grass around the house and we pitched a tent to check out the evening sky and stars.
I am giving a 5 star and when I come back to Montana this will be at the top of my list. We visited during the second week in July and the locals said it was unseasonably HOT. This is just an FYI, the house doesn't have central air conditioning. The owners had fans in key rooms and gave instructions to getting some air flow going.
As I stated at the beginning everything is as advertised. The latest Smart TV’s and strong WiFi many devices. It felt like being on the Ponderosa ( if any one gets that 50's TV reference) the neighbors were far enough away you didn't notice them. Enough parking space for two vehicles. I highly recommend.

Our family of 8 loved our stay. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen, minutes from Emigrant for quick resupplies. Our favorite part was sitting outside for breakfast and dinners with gorgeous views of the valley. Mike is an excellent host, responsive and helpful even as our trip got disrupted by massive airline delays.

It was the perfect location for our group. We organized a fly fishing trip on the Yellowstone from the fly shop 4 mins away from the house, but we thought we might be too far outside of Bozeman to do other things. However, Emigrant and the surrounding area had everything we needed. A BBQ joint, the Saloon had live music each night, Chico Hot springs were a short drive away, and we had easy access to Yellowstone Park.

We gathered in Emigrant for my son's wedding at Chico Resort and Hot Springs which turned out to be only about 5 minutes away.
The house was clean and well kept with spectacular views out the front windows. Beds were comfortable and we had everything in house we needed for our stay.
Communication from owner was excellent and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We brought 4 of our children with us to explore Yellowstone and the surrounding area. Northside was the absolute best side to stay on. The house was very nice, comfortable and had plenty of room for everyone. Loved the views of the mountains and deer that wondered through the area. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evenings. It was fun for all of us to try our hand at playing pool in the game room. We had tasty meals at the local restaurants, Follow Yer Nose & Emigrant Outpost. I would highly recommend renting this property!!

Paradise Valley near Yellowstone Park
This property is an excellent choice if you are looking to visit Yellowstone National Park but also wish to stay in a beautiful home with views of the valley and mountains. It is a gorgeous 30 minute drive to the park gate in Gardener which gave us easy access to the northern parts of Yellowstone - Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and the Lamar Valley. The house itself has stunning views of mountains and was very comfortable to spend a rainy day not touring but playing games, cooking, and watching movies. Lots of comfortable seating areas, an exercise room, and a well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the weather in Montana on our Memorial Day vacation was too wet and cold to take advantage of the good deck and firetable. Perhaps next time. The house is a bit hidden from the road so finding it the first time can be tricky but Mike is easily available by phone or email. As a bonus, we really enjoyed the gift basket of Montana foods and sampled every one. Thanks. It was a very memorable stay.

The Emigrant House is spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and clean. The view of the mountains and river is gorgeous! Mike and Jody are gracious hosts. We had a family reunion there. Yellowstone Adventure
The property was a great home base for our 5 day Yellowstone adventure. It was a short drive from the north entrance which was convenient. The property was great and had everything as advertised. It has great views of the mountains and is far enough away from neighbors to have solitude. Our family enjoyed the deck and pool table. The kitchen is also very well stocked with spices and utensils. We also got some up close pictures of some deer in the yard. Overall a great property.

Great Stay in Paradise
First time vrbo rental was easy and a great experience. Covid-19 prevented 4 family members from attending our mini reunion, but there is always next year, and there will be a vrbo for that reunion as well.

Gorgeous spacious house with great veiws!
The house offered more than expected! It was perfect for our large group (family reunion). The beds were very comfortable, big spacious rooms, stocked kitchen, very clean, amazing large room upstairs with pool table, large TV, tons of seating, board games and video library. The outside deck was perfect for views and cooling off from the hot weather. A Doe with 2 spotted fawns even visited daily to eat apples from the apple tree. The green house had fresh tomatoes and a variety of other fresh vegetables for the taking. Parking accommodated multiple cars. We accidentally left a Roku device and Mike generously offered to pay for mailing it back to us! I would highly recommend for large groups. Thank you Mike and Jodi!

Relaxing hilltop retreat
This house was a relaxing getaway situated on hilltop overlooking the valley with wonderful views. Mike and Jodi have done a wonderful job decorating the house with interesting antique pieces as well as keeping the house updated to suit modern families. The attached greenhouse was a nice bonus for us to use some of the vegetables that were ripening. The house was very well supplied and stocked for our needs. Our teenage kids occupied their time with the pool table, dart boards, and games as well as exploring outside. This was a perfect place for a family retreat.

Awesome views, great communication!
Other than having to deal with a mouse or two (we're from Wyoming so we know those babies can find a way in), our stay was wonderful and the house was perfect!! Owner was very responsive and attentive. Only suggestion would be allowing more time for check out.

Everything about this experience was superb. With my large family, we had people coming in at all times but this wasn't an issue as I was in constant contact with Mike. The house was extremely clean, spacious and the views were breathtaking. We could not have asked for a better place to stay while in Montana.
