Overall, we had a nice stay but likely wouldn’t rent again.
The hosts were great communicators, followed through on questions and inquiries, and provided a binder of information about the house, community, and local area which definitely goes a long way!
The cost of the rental is appropriate for the location and amenities available. Nothing is “make or break” in isolation but we were disappointed with the overall quality of furnishings and supplies from bed mattresses and linens to kitchen supplies and seating options in the living room. Some mattresses were comfortable and others were nearly unbearable. Cheap, crinkly mattress protectors and low quality pillows dressed every bed. The living room couches were cozy but there weren’t enough lounge seats. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances (blender, Keurig, electric can opener, toaster, toaster oven, drip coffee maker) and gadgets for eating seafood and mixing cocktails but completely missed the mark on essentials like a decent, full set of (dry) measuring cups, measuring spoons, and quality chef knives in good condition. A second wooden cutting board and replacing the scratched, non-stick frying pans with stainless steel or cast iron options wouldn’t hurt either!
We enjoyed stroller rides in the neighborhood after dinner and bike rides to Kelly Beach. The community is very quaint and beautiful and the house is close to many local attractions. We also liked the second floor layout with the kitchen, dining room, an

Our group of 10 found this property met our needs and then some. Central air, full laundry, big dining room open to large living room. Kitchen is well appointed. Deck provided seating for all. Four good size bedrooms; two baths; outdoor shower. Quiet area.

This was my first rental through VRBO and it was pretty painless. Working with Ray and Paula Fernandez was great!. When we checked in the house was spotless; you could smell the "clean". We're Rhode Islanders and are familiar w the area and neighboring beaches and amenities. There was plenty of room in the house for our grown children, their spouses and 6 grand children. When the central air went on the blink, Ray and Paula were right there with an HVAC service and had it repaired within hours. Plenty of kitchen supplies and linens in addition to a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. We would definitely consider renting again from the Fernandezs'. Very nice people!

We love this location and have stayed in this rental for four years. Already booked for next year. There is so much to do in this area. Walking and biking as well as several beaches are all within easy reach. Newport is only 15 minutes away.

We loved Kelly Beach. It was more lovely than pictures represented. We dropped off our group at the drop off point and the driver rode one of the provided bikes back to join up. House was very comfortable. We would stay again.

We stayed in June/July 2024. Houses in Bonnet that sleep 10 can be quite expensive. This house was a good deal that did not disappoint. We were 9 total, had plenty of towels and dishes. Beach towels were a plus, as well as the beach chairs, bikes and beach umbrellas. Location is great, lovely walk to Kelly beach. Folding beds were ideal for children. Highly recommend this house. Hope to be back and stay two weeks instead of one.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. It was very spacious and clean and the kitchen was well-appointed. Three stars based on the fact that the beds were very uncomfortable. The house also has very steep stairs, not suitable for seniors/small children.

The property was in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. Well stocked and very clean home. The only downside was sound does carry in the house, but you get use to the house sounds after a couple of days. I wish I booked for 2 weeks!!

Our family of ten enjoyed a great week at this property. The house was very comfortable and provided everything we needed from linens and towels to chairs and bikes. We loved Kelly Beach and morning walks along the water at the end of the street. Bonnet Shores is lovely!

Clean, very spacious, slept ten very comfortably. Close to beach. House in pretty and quite area. Kitchen had most everything you needed. Grills, bikes umbrella and beach chairs at your disposal. Would rent again.

Love this house and the area is great for walking and biking. Kelly Beach is not too far and it's a great beach for kids. Many good restaurants in the near vicinity as well.

I would highly recommend this property there was not one thing that was missing thank you so much. I grew up in Bonnet Shores since I’ve been 2 years old . My sisters both have homes here I stay here for the month of August .I rented this house for my children and their children .there were four adults and two children plenty plenty of room😁👍

We just came back from our weeklong stay at this property. The house was very clean. Bed linens were comfortable. The house is stocked with Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, and all the cooking implements you need. Bonnet Shores is a fantastic and quiet neighborhood. This location is on the end of the bonnet opposite from Kelley beach. Great location to walk and take in the beautiful ocean scenery including views of the Newport Bridge. We got dropped off by a family member when we wanted to use Kelley beach as it is too far with the kids to walk but this is not a problem at all. We used that beach as a supplement to our favorite Scarborough state beach which you have to drive to anyway. This house has an open kitchen dining room living room concept which is fantastic for family time. Four good size bedrooms and two fairly recently updated bathrooms. Paula is a fantastic host and responds immediately to any issues that could arise. Look no further for a comfortable clean house in a quiet location close to beautiful views of the ocean.

Nice stay for family vacation
This is a nice house, well stocked, and Paula is great. There is beach access to Kelly beach but no parking. Bikes are supplied but we never found an easy route to get back and forth to the beach with the bike. The town beach charges to park and enter the beach. So it is a wonderful family rental but for me I was looking to be a bit closer to the beach.

Our stay at Bonnet Shores
We enjoyed our stay. With young children though there are no bathrooms or porta-lots at Kelly Beach and beach is a mile from the house with no parking at the beach. Someone has to trek back to the house to get the car to bring them back home. The beach was lovely though

Family week at the beach
Overall, we had a fabulous vacation at this property. It is our 3rd trip to Narragansett and this has been our favorite house so far. Plenty of space, very clean, quiet neighborhood. We did have a minor issue with getting code to enter the house, but after a phone call Paula was quick to respond and very helpful throughout the whole process. I will have to say the only negative feedback I would give is to be careful of the area rugs & runners, they were slippery, and we did have younger kids, but that could be fixed real quick with a little carpet tape! Overall, we had a great family vacation and will be renting here again!

Great House in Bonnet Shores
This is a wonderful house for a large group. The 8 of us (5 in their 60s and 2 in their 30s) had plenty of space to gather and to also have quiet time alone. The house was clean, with a well equipped kitchen as well as beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas etc. Great walk by the harbor every evening and short rides to Kelly Beach and Narragansett. Paula has been great to work with. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Bonnet Shores
My family and I spent a truly relaxing and wonderful week at Bonnet Shores. The house was perfect and we enjoyed walks to Little Beach every night after dinner, as well as days at the private beach (Kelly Beach)! This home has everything you need for a great stay. Lovely home and neighborhood with beautiful Kelly Beach nearby
Perfect house by the beach for our family. Kelly Beach was a short bike ride away and great for our small kids. The house was so nice - spacious, clean, and well equipped with what we we needed. The extra bikes and beach cart were extremely helpful and the kids really enjoyed the outdoor shower. We have stayed at several other houses in the area over the years and this was by far the best!! Well equipped and comfortable place!
We have always rented places where we were responsible for bringing everything, from dish towels to toilet paper. We would always forget something. We are now spoiled after staying at this place because EVERYTHING was provided! We found the house to be the perfect lay out and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed Kelly Beach which was close by. Although we brought a few bikes it was nice that 2 additional bikes were provided. Overall, it was PERFECT! Thank you Paula:-)

Our Bonnet home anyway from home.
This is our 3rd year staying at this home and it gets harder and harder to leave every time.
Home is always immaculate well stocked on kitchen needs, bed linens and towels.
Back porch is my favorite spot in the house. Many mornings and nights spent out there.
Home is close to everything RI. Already booked again for next year. We can’t wait!

Lovely beach getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The house’s proximity to the neighborhood beach was perfect . The beach was clean and lovely. The houses was comfortable and sufficient in size for 6 adults. Big enough that we weren’t on top of each other but still cozy. It had everything we needed- kitchen tools , washer dryer etc. would definitely recommend!

Our family had a terrific week here! 👨👩👧👧 It’s a quiet spot.
There was plenty of room for people to spread out. We loved the deck and ate a lot of our meals out there. The owners were attentive. We loved the nearby beach!🏊♂️🏄🏼♂️

Beautiful area, beautiful week
We had a great time this week. The weather was hot, but perfect for the beach. We like the deck, open dining, living and kitchen design, outdoor shower, beach chairs, etc. A few suggestions for future travelers: bring your own bike - the Bonnet Shores area is beautiful and you will be glad that you have it; bring a few oscillating fans - they help the ceiling fans move the air if you like to sleep with the windows open.

Great time for young and old
The house was perfect for our family of 3 couples, two toddlers and a constant stream of visiting relatives. We were especially appreciative of it being bright, airy, clean and spacious since a relative had a very dark and dingy rental nearby. The communications with the owners before and after our stay were extremely helpful. When I inquired about cribs, she shared other's experiences and offered rental information. We problem solved how an elderly relative could participate in a two year old birthday party on the ground level. Kelly Beach was ideal for the young children and the shuttling back and forth only a small burden. In fact my son brought a toddler bike seat and helmet which became a favorite activity for the kids.
We also got to go to the Narragansett town beach after 5pm for free and lucked out enjoying Wednesday night food trucks and movies. One of the kids was an early riser and I was able to occupy him on the outdoor porch for an hour or so without waking others.
The house is very well equipped for cooks. We were able to entertain 13-20 people for meals and a birthday party. The beach umbrellas, chairs and outdoor shower were also appreciated
We all agreed that if we are able to return to Rhode Island, we'd definitely rent this house again.

Great Stay
Excellent property and the owners exceptionally hospitable. The home was extremely well stocked, supplied and usable. We really enjoyed the house, the neighborhood, the hosts, the beach, the restaurants in the neighborhood, and our stay. Hope I can stay again sometime. Thanks Paula and Ray.

Great Vacation Beach House!
We had a wonderful week staying at this beach house. The pictures definitely capture the beauty of this house. Very clean and modern! We were 6 adults and 3 small children, and there was plenty of room for all of us.
The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots & pans, etc. Beds were all comfortable. We liked how each bedroom was separated with hallways which gave everyone more space.
We drove down to Kelly Beach quite often, and took advantage of using the two bikes (with locks). There were plenty of umbrellas and sand chairs available to use also at the beach. Great beach so close by! The outdoor grill and patio was great too!
I would highly recommend this beach house. Nice neighborhood to walk around! No complaints whatsoever! Paula was helpful and answered any questions quickly!

Amazing week in Paula and Raymond's beautiful home
We were delighted by the look and feel of this roomy home. We travelled with 2 children, 5 months and almost 3, and were so comfortable with their ability to play and spread out baby equipment! The kitchen is beautifully updated, has everything you need and allows guests to move around easily and be involved in all the acitivty on this floor. We cooked most meals in so we thoroughly enjoyed the large dining area and outside deck including 2 grills.
The bedrooms were downstairs. Everyone slept comfortably and the rooms are a great size. Everything was provided - linens, towels, new laundry facillities. It was really like being at home!
Of course the beach is the reason that we come to Narragansett and Kelly Beach is perfect for families. It's a short drive to the beach and we were able to come and go easily. Paula and Raymond have bikes which was a plus. We spend most of our time there in the morning and it is not crowded and has a pond that is perfect for the little ones. I can't even explain how wonderful it is.

Home Away From Home with all the ammenities!
My family loved this home! About a mile from Kelly Beach, down the road from Bonnet Shores, this home was stocked with everything you could need to have a relaxing vacation and without having to haul it from your own home. The bikes were a great perk and helped us get around the neighborhood or to the beach. Paula was extremely responsive and helpful - we enjoyed working with her and would definitely stay again!! See you next year!!!
