Thanks so much for having us in your home! I had such a wonderful time your home is the true meaning of cozy relaxing - to say the least it felt like home, so much so we had to stay one extra day. It rained almost all weekend, however the atmosphere made it very pleasant. I will definitely come back again in a few month as a quick getaway since I'm just in Charlotte. Thanks see you soon.
Thank you so much. What a beautiful cabin, we had a wonderful time here on our Honeymoon. Hot tub, dinner at Louisiana Purchase, then relaxing with a beautiful fire and yes - SNOW! What more could you ask for? Pet Friendly!!! Our baby "Reba" loved all of it. This has been one of the most romantic getaways we have ever had. So peaceful.
This cozy two bedroom plus loft log cabin is charming and private with all extras including hot tub, wood-burning fireplace and wrap-around porch.
This popular log cabin is an absolute charmer - just what you dream about when you want to experience the mountain life. The hand-hewn authentic logs, the hardwood heart of pine floors, the 30 ft. stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, exposed beams and many other extras are perfect for offering the mountain atmosphere. Each article in this cabin was chosen with care.
All of the furniture is unique and the best quality. The house is furnished with many mountain crafts, antiques, original paintings and eclectic knick knacks. On your visit you will spend a great deal of time just walking around looking at all the details. The two bedrooms each have a comfortable queen size bed and an additional queen bed in the lofted area. The two bathrooms are also charming with log mirrors and look out onto the mountain greenery with one window facing a bed of wild ferns. The living room has leather sofas and hand-made tables, custom drapes, and hardwood floors. The dining room seats six with a deer antler chandelier overhanging the table. And, a newly added air hockey table. The outside of the house is just as charming as the inside with a wrap-around porch with swings, and rockers, stick furniture and best of all the hot tub. The privacy of this location allows you to roam freely around the property and enjoy its beauty. This house is in the heart of historic Valle Crucis and only two miles from the historic Mast General Store. Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Our time went by too fast. We wanted to unplug and relax, and this location was perfect for what we needed. Tucked away for privacy, but close enough to local attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hummingbird Hollow. It is in a convenient location to enjoy all of the neighboring towns. Very private setting with peace and tranquility. A perfect set up with the amenities for any duration of stay. Thanks again for our lovely stay.

This place is absolutely stunning, And beautiful. The home is a vacation in itself! We had a wonderful time it was cozy and relaxing. The home not only was it easy to access and get in everything was labeled with little labels, letting us know exactly where when and what I was extremely impressed with this and it made for a easy stay one thing you don’t want to have to worry about every day life homes when you’re trying to enjoy yourself this home was perfect. Even though it was only a 2 acre lot and other homes were close by, it was very well secluded and laid out so the presence of other people was not felt. All in all, it was a great spot. I definitely recommend this location and will definitely be using Blue Ridge Mountain rentals in the future.

Great communication throughout. Easy check in/check out. Pretty clean and stocked fairly well for basic operations. Location is central to the main tourist areas. Hot Tub was so chlorinated it was unusable and water level was low. We decided not to use after about 2 mins. Hot water heater in shower only good for about 10 mins and it took a while to warm back up after each shower. Overall a cozy experience.

Absolutely loved the house itself… but loved the location too! Close to everything we wanted to see in Boone. Perfectly kept, private spot - with quick aceess to downtown.

Beautiful cozy cabin that is easy to access and has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are great. The air hockey table and hot tub were a hit with the kids. I loved the wood burning fireplace! We'll be back for sure!

Check-in process was seamless. The cabin was very clean and beautifully appointed. The location was convenient to everything in the area. The private location was perfect and the outdoor area is very well maintained. The cabin included everything we needed. Just bring your clothes and enjoy!

Everything was nice. The cabin was cozy, a little difficult to find, but overall happy with our stay.

My family stayed at Hummingbird Hollow to celebrate my son's birthday. He was so excited to have the air hockey table to play and hot tub to hang out in. My husband and I enjoyed watching the birds and chipmunks from the porch. We did not use the fire pit, but it is a beautiful set up. The property is very secluded from surrounding properties; we enjoyed the privacy. Inside the cabin was well organized and clean. There are little notes to help navigate the home.
Management had great communication throughout the stay through text and email. I had to call afterhours once and they were very responsive.
My family enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird Hollow very much. My son is already asking if we can come back next year.

Overall a very nice place but the stairs to the second floor are ridiculously steep. So steep we would not even go up there unless absolutely necessary.
I would say if you are over 50 just forget there is a second floor.
The outside areas were dirty. It took a lot of our time to wipe down the outdoor table and chairs. The inside was clean so that is what really matters.

It was my stepdaughter’s first time in the mountains and she loved it. This little cabin in the woods was perfect! Had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable.

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful property, and we can’t wait to come back and visit again!

This is a rustic but cozy cabin with plenty of room for 4-6 people. It has plenty of outside decking to enjoy the beautiful private surroundings. The new grill, hot tub, fire pit and carport are the icing on the cake. The internet was good and the kitchen is stocked for very basic cooking. If you're a cook's cook, bring your own favorite kitchen tools. The location is very central to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Grandfather mountain. We enjoyed out stay.

Such a pretty setting and very private. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin had everything we needed. The location was close to many attractions and shopping. A great vacation for us!

Quaint and cozy!
We had a wonderful stay! My daughter got married on top of Wiseman's Mt and we had a small family gathering at the cabin. We had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and around the firepit at night. It's quaint, cozy and had everything we needed during our stay. Thanks for a wonderful time. We will always have fond memories!!

The actual house itself is fantastic. Loved the cozy cabin feel and how quiet the surrounding area is. Loved that the location is not too far from Boone. The house was extremely dusty (which setoff allergies)- layers thick of dust on bedroom furniture, windowsills in living room, cobwebs hanging from ceiling to table lights, deadbugs on windowsills, etc. I responded to an email (from the rental property management) I received about how was our stay and the house. I responded back about the extreme amount of dust and included pictures and never heard back. Even though the auto reply email I received said someone would contact me thenext day. Also, there were still dishes in the dishwasher from the previous renters that never got put away.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. The cabin was clean, felt very cozy, and was surprisingly warm even when we had it set at 65 - it held the heat very well. The hot tub was great and also sparkling clean. If we could have purchased that exact cabin on the spot, we would have, we felt right at home there. Highly recommend.

What a nice cabin! The family enjoyed using the hot tub while it was snowing out...we went snow tubing nearby at Hawks nest Tubing and it was a totally relaxing weekend in the cabin. Very quiet and cozy. Built a fire in the fireplace and just enjoyed getting snowed in for the weekend. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. We would stay again for sure!! **Note: they recommend 4WD or AWD during winter and possible snowy roads. Take heed on the advice, as the driveway is steep to get up to cabin. But once up there....you won't want to leave!! Awesome weekend!!

Lovely mountain getaway
Sweet cabin getaway - clean and cozy! Only downside was the hot tub wasn’t working which we learned about as we were driving up - the kids were super disappointed! But other than that, the beds were clean and comfy, loved the views and location. Amazing memories!
