We throughly enjoyed our weekend at Adelle cabin. The cabin was exactly as described and shown. Marjorie was great, and very responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay. We loved the location and enjoyed our morning sitting on the dock, we even saw a bald eagle fly over! :) The cabin was great for providing a home base and was close to hiking and town. I would recommend staying if you're looking to get away from it all and unplug from the hustle and bustle.

One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had!
Honestly, staying here was the perfect getaway retreat. No TVs or cell phone distractions - just a beautiful, calming lake and amazing hosts. The perfect place to finally finish those books you started months ago and to reset from the hustle and bustle of life. We will definitely try to make this an annual trip. Thank you Marjorie and Cliff for making this such a wonderful experience!

We stay at Camp Adele this year for the first time. It was a wonderful experience, beautiful views, fishing right off the dock and a very clean, accurately photographed cabin. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Cabin suited us perfectly well
This is a classic ADK camp - clean and comfortable. We used it as home base to ski and it was great to have a spot to eat and relax in the evening.

FABULOUS
We decided with a very short notice to leave to Saranac Lake, and we were beyond lucky to found this incredible cabin. It has all you need, the snow was just beautiful while we were there. The host, Marjorie, is amazing and she will answer right away with any questions you might have. Definitely looking forward to go back in a season we can also enjoy the lake and it's beauty. Thank you

Our stay at Camp Adele was perfect! The cabin was right on the water and we had an incredible view of the lake. The cabin had a great midcentury interior which had all the basics for a relaxing, comfortable stay in the mountains. There were other cabins on the property but we never felt our privacy was impeded. Marjorie was pleasant to deal with, communicated clearly and was very accommodating throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a couple minutes from town and a great jumping-off point to explore the region and do some hiking. We will definitely want to come back, maybe next time in the summer!

Saranac cabin
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly as the description said. Conviently located close to the town of Saranac and a short ride to Lake Placid. The veiw from the deck was absolutely gorgeous. We definitely will be back.

The happy medium between primitive and luxury
This cabin was great. It has running water (the shower had plenty of hot water) and electricity with heat, so it's not a primitive stay, but it's far from a luxury cabin. Perfect for a lake side getaway.

Perfect Vacation
Cabin was beautiful, just off the water. Fishing was amazing for my son and husband. An absolutely perfect place to relax and disconnect. We will be back next year for sure!!!

Wonderful Labor Day weekend
We really enjoyed our stay in Camp Adelle. The location was exactly what we wanted - waterfront with lots of peace and quiet. We appreciated the chance to bring our dog along for our stay and she enjoyed walks through the Cochrans' expansive grounds. While the property is secluded, it is a short drive into Saranac Lake and we enjoyed spending time there as well. The cabin itself is quite rustic (rudimentary cooking and bathroom facilities, which were as advertised and expected) but offers enough conveniences that we remained comfortable all weekend.
Overall we had a great experience and would return. Thanks to the Cochrans for a lovely weekend!

Quaint rustic cabin with gorgeous lake views
We had a great stay. The cabin is right on Kiwassa lake with access to swimming from private dock and many boat options for rental. Location is close to area attractions and eateries. It was a perfect spot for a relaxing week in the Adirondacks.

A tent would have been better
No words can express the shear dissatisfaction with this rental. Beds were rocks and if your over 6 ft tall your head hits one end and your feet touch the other. Bring a pack saddle house to get your stuff to the so call place of rest and relaxation. Shower-bad. Have to sit on the toilet sideways to use it and my wife left after first night say no thanks your on your own. Screen porch had more holes than Swiss cheese and forget about any type of connection with the outside world. No cell service or internet. Place is a joke for the price point and I would recommend that you never stay here.

great cabin, perfect spot, great host (and great dog!)
we had a wonderful time. cabin was perfect for a family of 5. kids loved swimming, fishing off the dock, kayaking/canoeing, and playing with friendly lab retriever. adults loved sitting on porch and enjoying the view.
4.7
Beautiful location, well supplied.
Our family stayed a week in this delightful cabin right on the lake. The morning and evening views were stunning. The location is away from the busiest parts of the lake system and fairly quiet. Canoes and kayaks are available and the lake is large enough for a long explore, yet small enough to not be too exhausting rowing back. The cabin is insulated. The kitchen well supplied with dishes and cookware.
There is no microwave, but there is a toaster and coffee maker. Wifi is available at the next building. If three couples stay, one of the bedrooms is accessed through another. Perfect for a small family.

Nice lake getaway
Cabin was closer to bed and breakfast than we thought but was still nice. Very scenic view on the lake with docks to sit on. Had to walk through 2nd bedroom to get to the 3rd.

Great place to unwind - hospitality is on point
The Cochran Cabins are the perfect spot for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled within miles of surrounding forest, this waterfront B&B on Kiwassa Lake, enabled me to relax and unwind while taking in the breathtaking views from my room. This would not have been possible without the amazing hospitality of the owners, Margie and Cliff. Breakfast was delicious and Margie went out of her way to be accommodating to my dietary restrictions. The accommodations in the Adele cabin were impeccable. You can tell great care is taken on the upkeep and maintenance of the cabins. I am definately returning to this this spot and recommend it to anyone in need of some R&R.

Adirondaks gem
Kiwassa Lake Bed and Breakfast is a true gem quaintly located on Kiwassa Lake in Saranac Lake, New York. I visited here for a girls weekend getaway and had a fantastic visit! A secluded property with beautiful views of the lake and a delightful host family. Delicious breakfast, cheery demeanor, cozy fireplace. Camp Adelle is one of the cabins available on the property and I couldn't say enough great things about it. Private, cozy, comfortable deck for reading a book and gazing at the lake. You even have access to your own private fishing dock! You won't regret a weekend getaway at Camp Adelle. Book your stay now!
