Our three generational family had a wonderful stay. The house had large spaces for everyone to gather for meal prep and dinning, board games, watching TV, or just visiting. It also had other large spaces big enough for children to play or watch TV, and there were plenty of quiet spaces for adults, who had to work now and then. The location was close to other activities and the view from the deck was beautiful.
5.0 / 5.0
There was ample room for our family of 15. The kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking for a large group easy. We had a small problem with the septic system and they were there to fix it the next morning. The location was perfect for everything Asheville has to offer!
4.0 / 5.0
We enjoyed our stay here and the spaciousness and layout of the house. However, the photos and description of the house set inaccurate expectations. The pictures must have been taken a while ago and the house, especially the back deck, is in need of some TLC. One indoor and one outdoor ceiling fan did not work at all. The garage refrigerator needs to be replaced and took 24 hours to work. The deck and its furnishings look very run down (think old furniture and dead potted plants) as does the basement TV area. The kitchen is well equipped and newly renovated. The wooded area behind the house needs pruning to enjoy the view. Considering the hefty rental cost, we were disappointed in the maintenance level. A little TLC and spending could make this into a stellar property.

Very nice and very well stocked! Great weekend.
4.0 / 5.0
The property was comfortable and clean. It accommodated my family and I (21 total) well. The reason for my 4 star rating instead of 5 is because for the cost, we expected the property to be in better condition. There were a number of maintenance issues that are not simple to fix once 21 people are settled in from a long drive. We noticed the following items in need of repair/replacement. Gas fire place in living room, listed as not working when we booked and still not working. Gas grill outside, inside gas burners rusted completely. Partially working refrigerator ice maker. One door downstairs going to patio that we never were able to close, two on the main floor that took a lot work to get them to close. Two bathrooms had obvious signs of moisture damage on the ceilings. Sky lights in main living room had signs of water leak at some point. Damaged walls due to furniture contact. Various broken window screens. Shower head in master bath had excessive pressure. Damaged bathroom vanity countertop. The house and property overall is beautiful, roomy with lots of bathrooms and beds. It just needs a refresher and some minor repairs and maintenance to make it that much more special.

We had a great stay with 25 adults! The house provided plenty of space (sleeping, bathrooms and living space) for the large group to be comfortable the entire time.
Parking is limited for such a large group, but the host was helpful in providing a separate location for additional spaces.

This place was perfect for us. There were 16 of us and there was more than enough room for all of us. We were close enough to anything we wanted to do. Hikes,Biltmore, golf. There was even a small fishing pond at the bottom of the hill the kids loved and could walk to. Only suggestion is to make sure you keep the garage door closed. The trash is kept in the garage and we are pretty sure it was a bear that helped himself to it and scattered it all up the hill. Great place and great vacation.

Perfect home for large group
We had a group of eleven(kids, teens, adults, & grands) and we had tons of room with several beds to spare. Large dining table where we gathered to eat and play games. Fully stocked kitchen. Ping pong & foosball in the garage kept everyone entertained. Lovely experience!

Beautiful setting
Overall our stay was good. Property needs updates and cleaning. Outlets in kitchen didn’t all work. Showers could use better heads as some barely got you wet For the daily price I expected better quality

Maine friends reunion
Property was perfect size for our group of twelve adults. Every couple had their own bedroom and bath. Main living and basement living areas were great for viewing sports games or movies. And kitchen/dining area was perfect for our group meals. The house is a little dated and a needs some TLC but property manager was very responsive when we called with issues. All in all, had a great time and love the Asheville area!

A bit rundown
The house is huge and is able to accommodate a large group easily. However it is not in great shape and definitely needs a handyman and a good cleaning. Here is a quick list of things that need to be addressed.
-air conditioning needs to be upgraded (the unit is too small to cool the house. If you try and turn it below 70 and the unit freezes it is your fault according to the house manual)
-fan in living room doesn’t work
-living room couch is dirty and torn on the bottom
-screen door doesn’t work
-TV in living room is from the 1990s
-x-box in basement doesn’t work
-fire place did not appear to work
-burners in kitchen need to be repaired
I know it sounds like I am being picky but for the price of this house I MUCH expect better.

Great group house
Easily kept our large group of 20 ladies. They have amazing details, heated tiles and we loved the cozy gas logs. It snowed and there were no problems, fire Wood isn’t covered so didn’t get to use that. Next time

Great location for large groups
The property was great for our large group gathering, with plenty of bedrooms, beds, and places to gather. Kitchen was fully equipped for the meals we made. Only issue was the lock not working during check-in, but the property management was very responsive and got us into the home quickly.

Perfect for a big group!
We had 6 couples so loved that each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom.
Was very clean when we arrived!
There was a little confusion on how to work the big TV downstairs but we contacted the property mgr and they came right over and fixed it.
Beds were very comfortable! Not all rooms had closets, which you need to keep in mind if bringing hanging items.
We were there in November so it was chilly in Asheville. Lowest level
was a little chilly and wood burning stove not hooked up, so we didn’t use it.
Plenty of dishes and glasses for our group!! Loved that there were two coffee makers! We used them both every morning!
Overall a great experience and fun trip to Asheville!

Perfect House for a Girlfriends' Getaway!
Choosing a rental from photos and an online listing for 14 other women traveling from 5 different states made me a little nervous. What if it wasn't what it seemed to be? As soon as we opened the door, I knew we were in for a wonderful experience. It's a beautifully located, tastefully decorated, and fully supplied home away from home. We had an abundance of space to gather when we wanted, and to enjoy quiet when we didn't. We took Uber or Lyft for a quick 10 - 15 minute ride for our evenings downtown. Due to open dates before and after our reservation, the property managers were able to accommodate our request for both an early check-in and late check-out and we greatly appreciated that courtesy. We used the hot tub (ahhhhh!) but never did have a chance to sit around the fire pit. This house has SO many amenities, you'll never run out of things to do! Personally, I loved having a bedroom with a window over the front door that I could leave open at night and hear the sound of the waterfall into the koi pond. What a very special property!

Comfortable space and well equipped for a crowd!
We had plenty of room to comfortably house 13 adults and 5 children (age 3 and under). The kitchen was very well equipped, and many basics were provided - dishwasher and washing machine tablets, trash bags, etc. The porch served as a great enclosed 'playground' for the children. One section stayed cool because of the roof and ceiling fan.

Just a SPECTACULAR home!! 5-Stars!
Our family rented all 4 homes for the Falls at Edenderry collection from Yonder, as we held a family reunion with a total of 72 of us! (Yes; big family gathering.) It was amazing in and of itself that Yonder had a property that could accommodate a total of 72 guests; we never in our wildest dreams thought we could all stay "together" at one property. This reunion entailed 4 different generations, and the homes were able to host even those with limited mobility. We rented a huge tent that we had setup at Pine Hollow, which essentially served as the "hub" for everything, and it stayed up the whole 4 days we stayed, and allowed for terrific outdoor meals, events and more. (One set of great grandparents even renewed their vows one evening with a cool little outdoor ceremony.) The Lodge at Edenderry was where the "elder statesmen/women" stayed, which was perfect. The Lodge has 2 ensuite "Master Suites" on the main floor, which were used by the great grandparents & oldest set of grandparents. The home was so very welcoming. All 4 homes' hot tubs saw regular usage, as did the fire pits. It was even warm enough for the younger kids to swim in the pond and play/hang-out on the beach area. The homes were VERY clean, well set-up, and nicely furnished. We stayed mostly close to the homes as there was so much to do, and we wanted to see everyone, etc. However, we did take a group outing to The Biltmore, Sierra Nevada, and did the Grey Line Tour in downtown Asheville, (as suggested by Sarah w/Yonder). Brian even brought us out some additional necessities we requested, and was helpful with some of the technology the older folks were struggling with. Much fun was had by all, I can assure you that if our family plans another reunion in Asheville that we will be back to the Falls at Edenderry, or if a smaller group trip, simply contact Yonder for luxury accommodations; simply AWESOME!!!

Our Christmas Family Gathering
Our family stayed in The Lodge at Edenderry the week before Christmas. The 9 kiddos and 6 adults had plenty of room for games playing, baking cookies and doing puzzles. The open fireplace was a big hit with our group. So was the downstairs greatroom and big screen TV.
Yonder was always available to answer questions and help in all situations.
We highly recommend The Lodge for your family gathering.
