About this cottage rental
This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood just one block from Grand Avenue and just a short walk from Grand Lake! It has a private courtyard and covered deck in back at which you can enjoy a campfire or eat meals. It has a fully stocked kitchen, large master bathroom with tub, 2 additional guest bedrooms (one has a skylight.) It has an outdoor firepit and charcoal grill, a laundry room, and internet - all of the amenities needed to enjoy a vacation in beautiful Grand Lake!
The master bedroom and one guest bedroom each has a queen-size bed. The other guest bedroom has a trundle bed that forms 2 twin beds.
This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.
Enjoy the splendor of Mount Baldy from the front yard, and enjoy the moose (and occasional bear) who frequently wander through that neighborhood. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.)
This cottage is located close to the repertory theatre, shopping, a grocery store, and restaurants. It is also just a short drive (about 1 mile) from Rocky Mountain National Park.

We loved staying here. Beautiful, lovely home. The walk to town is nice and short. We were supplied everything we needed. Beyond our expectations!!

Great little cabin, walking distance to everything in town. We will defiantly re-visit.

Cute, convenient and fully loaded cabin close to everything in GL....great place for the family to get away from the big city

We had a great time at this delightful little cabin. Our host, Rebekah, is accessible, pleasant and responsive. The cabin is quaint, comfy and adorable. There is lovely seating in the back around a firepit that we could not enjoy because of rain. The beds are very comfortable and we had plenty of hot water. We loved the quick walk to downtown and to the Lake. We attended two performances at the Rocky Mountain Rep which were beyond expectations. Beverages on the porch of the Grand Lake Lodge (or lunch) are a must. We would stay at the cabin again.

Grand Lake is known for its older bark sided cabins and this was a perfect example. It had just enough ‘newness’ for comfort and ease but kept its personality and charm. Great communication, good walking into town location and just right for our family.

Adequate. Cottage is cute but dated. Layout is chopped up, but serviceable. Location is marginal since it’s on the edge of the village-good for quiet, but a long walk to anything.

The house was nice and well equipped. Great location and very near a great fishing spot. The bedroom with the twin beds is an inside room with a sky light but the girls didn't seem to mind. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time and would stay here again.

The cabin was PERFECT! We had myself and my husband in the middle bedroom, 9 and 7 year old grandkids in the two twin bedroom and our daughter with her 3 year old and 6 month nils in the master bedroom. The master was huge and has a very nice pack and play- big enough for twins!! The location is perfect. Ice and quiet but just two blocks from the community beach and docks and a block from a other quiet lake access area. Less than 2 miles from Adams Falls.

This cabin is located in the location! Once we arrived, we never had to drive anywhere. Everything was within walking distance. The main road into town was the block behind us. The hill to sled down was to the right of the cabin (2 min) walk up to the hill. And the lake is located a block ahead of the cabin. I would love to return in the summertime to enjoy the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything needed to make a full meal. The only negative thing in our experience was the Wi-Fi. But as soon as we let Rebekah know there was an issue, she had it taken care of. Other than that it was an excellent stay for myself and my family.

Relaxing and beautiful. The back patio area looks exactly like it does in the pictures.

What a lovely welcome package, water and some snacks and a detailed packet with actives nearby and other suggestions! We stayed here for a few days for a 40th birthday celebration/hike and were impressed with the ease of checking in, cleanliness of the rooms, and closeness to the town. Walkable to everything you’d want to do in town! Wonderful experience and stay!

Remote, quiet, beautiful, comfy, easy breezy vacation stay, 10/10 would buy this cabin and love the neighborhood.

The cottage was the perfect size for my family and our pup. The kitchen and baths were perfect for us. I love the new tile in the bath. The bathtub was nice for young folks but difficult for me, a short senior citizen, to get into and out. A hand rail would make it easier. There were mice in the ceiling of the bedroom with the double bed(it's fall). Walking sticks at the house would be nice. We loved the neighborhood and downtown Grand Lake and would enjoy staying in this cottage again. The hiking in the area was awesome.

As described, cozy and comfy! Near everything, and the communication with the host was excellent. One note, the only shower is part of the lovely deep, clawfoot tub. Mobility issues may make showering challenging.

Great location: walked to everything including nightly ice cream cones, but house is tucked into a quiet corner off of the Main Street. Beautiful flowers, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Rebekah was an excellent host.

Loved spending time in the garden. A photographers playground. The closeness of walking paths to the cabin and all the stores in town being in walking distance. Peaceful and quiet.

Rebekah was an amazing host - she offered very helpful advice, provided clear instructions and was incredibly responsive to messages. The cabin itself is very cozy, in a great location just a short walk from Main Street and the lake.
The only reason I’m not giving this property a 5 star review is due to the bathroom accommodations that weren’t made very clear in the description. We were aware based on other reviews that the master bedroom offers a tub versus shower; but what we weren’t prepared for is how deep the tub is (with no bars for assistance) and the shower in the other bathroom is inside a very deep, claw foot tub. Both were very difficult for two members of our party to access (one of which couldn’t at all). I provided feedback to the owner; and she responded right away to thank me and mentioned they have plans to address this.
This property may not be a suitable choice for anyone with mobility issues in its current state. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved Grand Lake!

This is a very nice older cabin that has several updated features, particularly in the bathrooms. The bedrooms were very comfortable with lots of space to folded and hanging clothing (master has walk in closet - tons of room). A little less than 1/2 mile into the center of town. Easy access to everything,

We loved staying here. Home was great.. Well equipped and great location. Never had to drive, and the fires in the fire pit was the perfect way to end the day.
