About this apartment rental
Bright, beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable, luxury upstairs condo in one of Breckenridge's landmark properties in the core of downtown Breckenridge.
It has an extremely open feel, with a large living/Dining/kitchen area, central to the property and each master suite in a separate "wing" branching off from that. This allows for a very comfortable social atmosphere as well as privacy when it is desired. It is an incredible place for a family or multi family get together.
The property was originally built in 1890 as home for a successful gold miner's Family. The most recent, previous owner's operated their store, the Bay Street Company out of the location and lived upstairs. It was recently heavily remodeled and all of the finishes were built specifically for the property from the custom doors and cabinets to specifically milled reclaimed floors.
The bathrooms, and specifically the center master bath will rival or surpass nearly any. All of the bath floors are heated. There is an extra large infinity bath tub, specifically the Kohler SOK, and a steam shower, another wonderful soaking bath, and incredible tile and stone throughout. The beds include plush pillow top kings in each bedroom, as well as 3 twins in the historic wing and one fold out twin ottoman in the Central master. It is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy everything that Breckenridge has to offer. Blue sage spa is within 30 yards of the property, the bus stop to access the entire county is across the street. There are 2 private, partially covered parking spaces.
The property itself is one of the most photographed properties in Summit county with impressive perennial gardens and plantings. It won the town Christmas lighting competition the last year they held it, and it has been on the cover of Sunset magazine more than once as well as featured in the magazine on more than one occasion.
There are countless restaurants and shops within just a few blocks. The ski lifts are an easy walk and the new Free town trolley runs directly in front of The Loft, taking you to the gondola, the Ice rink and City market.
It is the best place there is to enjoy all that breckenridge has to offer!

Best location in Breckenridge! Property is very well equipped, kitchen, paper goods. Robert was very helpful. We will stay at the Loft again.

My wife, 4 adult friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Loft at Ruby Jane. The location is perfect for walking around Breck and even though it's located right on Main Street, there was very little noise. The unit is roomy, comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. We especially enjoyed playing cards on the patio while enjoying an adult libation. There is a very good chance we'll be back again next year!

Right in the heart of Breck. No better place to have access to Main Street and great restaurants. Several trails and the gondola are an easy walk. The loft is spacious and well stocked. Extremely comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect…so walkable. The furnishings were nice and fit our needs perfectly. We had just a short walk to the lifts and restaurants all around us. It was pretty quiet and very clean. The host is great and very responsive. Would recommend staying here!

This house/loft was amazing. The three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms were perfect for the three couples visiting Breckenridge. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay a breeze. The location of the property is perfect. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we left for the airport. Robert was great to deal with. He was very responsive and helped us out with our early arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely incredible place! Location is unbeatable. Two families of 4 stayed here and it was perfect. Host was incredible and very responsive! The place is clean with amazing sunlight and great for access to shops/ restaurants/ and skiing. Close walk to the lifts or to the free ride shuttle for easy access to the slopes. Would 100% recommend!

The loft is so quaint! The location was ideal to enjoy the town and also to ski. It is only a short walk to the quick silver lift. We love Breck and hope to come back and stay at the loft at Ruby Jane!

The Loft at Ruby Jane is a fantastic property with an ideal location in downtown Breckenridge. We loved the floor plan and the amenities. The loft is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The owners are communicative and friendly. And the location can't be beat. We will absolutely be staying here again!

The perfect location and room set up for our family.

We had a group of 6 guys coming to breck for the first time so we weren’t sure what the best place to stay would be and this property was great. The location was perfect and the property was very clean and comfortable for all 6 of us. I would stay again for sure.

Highly recommend. Great location. Walked to ski lifts everyday. Right on Main st with easy access to all the restaurants and shops that Breck has to offer. House was perfect for us (3 couples). We each had our own space, our own bathroom with shower and comfortable king beds. Great common space to hang out after a day of skiing. Would/will definitely book this property again.

Robert was the consummate host and the property was perfect in all facets...exceptional location on Main Street, incredibly clean and updated, spacious and perfect for "people watching" off the balcony. Thank you once again Robert for making out Thanksgiving holiday something truly special!

Amazing location
Such a wonderful place we have stayed in Breck over a dozen times and the issue always is access to Main Street parking and ski parking. This place is private yet ON MAIN and less then 5 minute walk to two lifts. So perfect!

Beautiful, large loft in a perfect location
My family absolutely loved our weeklong stay here.
The location is absolute A+. It’s in the center of everything. The loft itself is very large, nicely appointed and clean. It has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay and more.
Sizewise, the loft is perfect for three couples each with some children or for two couples with children if you want a bit more space.
The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive about the loft and recommendations
We highly recommend and will likely book another stay sometime soon!!

The effort put into the property was so noticeable. And appreciated. Would stay here every year if we could! It is best set up for 6 couples, (not more) and the rest are singles just fyi. Worked great for us! Well stocked kitchen for anything you want to make but restaurants and bars are everywhere and walkable. Lovely showers to relax in after a full day of skiing. All the nice tech equipment was appreciated with full instructions on how to use. Just a wonderful property in a perfect location in town! Can’t say enough good things!Side note, getting to the mountain to ski wasn’t the easiest for us due to covid and the buses not running like they should. Not the properties fault but until there are enough people wanting to work again it is going to be a challenge. Breckenridge does not have enough parking at the mountain and it’s around 40 bucks a day if you do. It is tough to find a parking and so someone had to drive the group and then park as close as they could. Lots of time on that person driving and connecting with them may not be quick on the mountain. Just wanted to let future visitors know the current situation on Breckenridge. If you aren’t on Peak 9 when the lifts close it’s going to take a gondola ride (from peak 7) and a couple bus rides to get back. Buses run on a 40 minute schedule so not super fast.

The Loft
The Loft was AMAZING! It’s a great location, close to everything! Bob had a binder that was soooo helpful! He listed his recommendations for Restaurants, shopping, and more! We could tell that he cared about his guest enjoying their stay in Breckinridge. The Loft was VERY CLEAN! It felt clean as well as smelled cleaned It was truly a BEAUTIFUL spacious and well laid out home! We will DEFINITELY stay here when we come to Breckenridge again!

Amazing unit & location!
We stayed with 2 other couples (6 of us total) and would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the Breckenridge area. It’s right in the heart of downtown and convenient to everything (coffee, restaurants, etc.) including the shuttle stops for the mountain. The manager was great to deal with and super helpful with information ahead of our stay. We would stay here again any time!!

Wonderful Stay!
This property was just as pictured and described. Wonderful location, cozy surroundings and close to everything. For our first time in a 'ski' town, it was just as we imagined! Also, owner went above and beyond in taking care of our needs, even going as far as mailing us a jacket left there!

Incredibly charming home with an outstanding location
We immediately felt at home in this older loft that had all the charm of a in town place and modern features in its chef’s kitchen and electronics. We have not liked having Christmas away from home but the Christmas tree thoughtfully put up by our host Robert as well as other holiday decor and the great amenities has converted us. Could not have been happier with the home and though it was in town, we were a group of bit skiers and non-skiers - close enough to the slopes and still in the middle of the village, shops and restaurants to keep both groups happy. We will definitely be back. Robert was a friendly and super responsive who went above and beyond to proactively point us to some great restaurants. Thank you!

Location and Layout
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook in the future. You cannot beat the location as it sits downtown on Main St. The layout of the house is perfect making it very spacious and you cannot beat having a bathroom for each bedroom.

Perfect location
This property, located on Main Street, is the perfect location in town. Walk out the door and you are in the center of the Breckenridge shopping and restaurant scene. The updated kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Outdoor decks overlook the town and ski slopes. We have stayed at many places in town, and this one is by far the best.

Perfect loft, Perfect location
We're from VA, we've been to Breckenridge three different times, our son lives out there and we've stayed in three different locations, this was by far our favorite and will hopefully stay there again. We didn't even have to get into our cars for days, we walked almost everywhere. The loft was spotless, the finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms were top of the line. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the owner was there to answer any of our questions.
Please notice that there is no air conditioning, but with the windows open it was cool enough during the day and perfect in the evenings. And no tv's in the bedrooms ( except one in a small area with a Wii for kids) but we had our Ipad and could use that. These are in no way reasons not to stay in this loft, we loved it, just info I thought someone might need.

Great vacation home!
The loft is beautiful and has great views. It had everything we needed, and is in a great location within walking distance of all the town has to offer! We traveled with our 2 adult children ( So 4 adults) and had more than enough space. We had originally planned for another couple to be with us which would have worked as well. Definitely will try to stay there again whenever we go back to Breckinridge.

My family and I just returned from our stay in Breckenridge. I cannot say enough good things about the Loft at Ruby Jane. Robert was a phenomenal host! He messaged before arrival to assure me that the loft had been sanitized and that noone had been in the previous week so we were given the go ahead to go on in as soon as we arrived! Robert also included a list of recommended restaurants, things to do and places to see!!!! We were looking for a winter wonderland & man did this place deliver!!!! Upon arrival, we fell in love with the uniqueness of this place and knew we had chosen "the one". I can't tell you enough that the location is AWESOME , AWESOME AND AWESOME! Everything is walkable, that is in downtown. The grocery is literally a block away as well as many choices for food , Coffee and snacks (Coffee Camper was our fave). The Little bar and Grilled is right across the street on Adam's and they had the most wonderful soup and a variety of grilled sandwiches! During our stay, one of our guests had a birthday. We hired a private chef to come in (restaurants ARE at limited capacity due to covid ) we hired our Chef through At your Breck and call , it was a great experience, this beautiful home had everything the chef needed and then some!!!! Grill on the patio was great for the steaks he prepared for us. Because it was the Holiday week Robert left the Christmas tree up and even left us a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for New Years Eve. We had a party of four people and the Loft at Ruby Jane was perfect for us but could easily have housed several more people! The building offers so much to the history buffs imagination but it has been remodeled to include upgrades that are most luxurious! Imagine coming in from outside after a freezing day on the slopes to a master bath that has a steam shower and a HUGE jacuzzi tub. This place was wonderful. You will love every single minute of your stay , and like us will probably not want to leave! Jeanne & Jimmy Athens, Ga.

The property was beautiful inside - in a loft above a wonderful boutique on Main Street. Bathrooms are excellent with upgraded heated floors & steam showers. Great location with shopping & walking distance to gondola or free transit system.

Breckenridge Delight
This property was a pleasant surprise located in the heart of Breckenridge downtown district and within walking distance of Peak 9. Our stay included two families (10 total persons) and the accommodations easily served all with its bedrooms, bathrooms, and living and dining rooms. We would highly recommend anyone that is interested in visiting Breckenridge and all it has to offer to stay here as it is convenient and you will not be disappointed!

You feel like a VIP
We were blown away by the spaciousness, cleanliness, amenities, and access of this space. It's a complete gem, and exceeded all of our expectations. Being right on main street meant we had walking access to everything Breck has to offer in minutes, including world-class outdoor dining options. But it also meant we could easily grab take-out if we weren't feeling up for an outing.
Having our own balcony patio outside, along with 100-year-old architectural details inside, really made it special. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your incredible space. A real 5+ star experience.

Luxury and location!
I've stayed in quite a few VRBO properties, and I must say the Loft at the Ruby Jane is one of the best. Our great experience started prior to check-in, with a detailed message from host Robert Helt. Check-in instructions were clear and he was thoughtful to include recommendations for dining, services, etc. He then checked on us by text message several times on the day of check in to make sure all was good. The property is clean, comfortable, updated, and luxurious. The location can't be beat... steps away from dining, shopping, and the free shuttle system. Unfortunately our trip was cut short by the Chinese virus, but Robert once again did everything he could to accommodate our need to check out early. But, we will be back and are very much looking forward to it!
