Stayed here for a 2 night babymoon. We came from Yorkshire and visited Silverstone Museum, Bicester Village and then had a day sightseeing in Oxford. The location is perfect for getting into Oxford. We also ate at the Turnpike pub nearby which was lovely (great mocktails for me!) The area was lovely and quiet. The cottage was clean and had everything you needed. We loved the underfloor heating. Very comfortable bed and good shower. We didn’t want to stay in Oxford itself as we prefer the countryside feel, this cottage gave us exactly what we wanted.
Nothing! We had a lovely stay.
3.5
Wonderful location with a view over a large field. The kitchen had everything you need and fresh eggs. Comfortable bed and modern design.
No fan in the bathroom and neither does the shower have a door so when you shower the toilet gets wet and water runs towards the door.
3.5
Location was good, cottage was clean, it was peaceful. TV with Netflix and nice downstairs space. Eggs left from the chickens a nice touch. Great coat and shoe area when first entering the cottage.
The crockery was chipped and it wasn't very clean and could do with new kitchen ware. There was no outside space which was a shame as there is a patio door but it can't be opened and there is no access to the outside area. This could be made very nice. The bedroom isn't very comfortable as it's a dorma bedroom and therefore very limited headroom. The bed is a double a bit on the small side with a bedframe that you constantly knock yourself on. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain very well and the bathroom drains smelt. Only one small hand towel.

Location, cottage had everything needed.
Patio needs improving as couldn’t utilise even though weather was good.
2.5
Easy parking. Good kitchen facilities. Eggs a nice touch
Sadly not for us. Would be very hot in Summer. Road noise more than expected. Patio outside was an eyesore with no access, again if hot would be unbearable. Shower wets everything in bathroom, including the toilet paper. Sink difficult to use as water doesn’t go down drain well.

The location is very pretty, the house itself is very maintained and beautifully decorated.
The sockets upstairs did not work, it was a very warm evening so the fans would have been helpful. A major incident happened close by so lots of police, helicopters etc so it was difficult to open the windows (unexpected) also please replace the hairdryer, it has no safety guard on the back so I caught my hair in the fan 😳

Nice location; good parking; attractive building.
Unable to open back door; kettle needed descaling; living room lamp not working; grill smoking when switched on so unable to use.

Perfect location for access to all that Oxford has to offer.
Loved the rabbits eating breakfast.
Windows were dirty and smeared.
Low ceiling in bedroom - made hair drying a challenge! Hit our heads several times.

The location is amazing. A short walk to two village pubs and so close to many other attractions. The accommodation is stunning and so comfortable. A true escape fitted with everything you need to relax, cook, or on occasion actually work if you really have to.
Parking is slightly limited if you have a large SUV or two cars. But I can't class that as something I didn't like, more just something to be aware of when arriving.

Great location, peaceful and scenic. A short drive to park and ride for Oxford. Lovely property, clean and warm. Nice and modern interior. Key box entry a plus. Eggs from the farm chickens in the kitchen.
Lack of fresh milk, bread or butter essentially made the eggs redundant. I took them home to enjoy instead :D

Very clean and comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay and would stay again.
It was very cold during our stay and the heating wasn't sufficient. It was set at a certain temperature and it wasn't possible to alter it in the cottage as it was controlled remotely. After 2 cold evenings it was resolved and a portable heater was provided.

A beautiful location with fantastic views around the property. Great place to relax and we enjoyed spending some chill time in the cottage as well as sightseeing in Oxford. Accommodation was to a high standard and bed was extremely comfortable!
Quite close to the main road so there was a bit of traffic noise but not enought to spoil our stay.

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway.
The Chequers Inn at the end of the road served good food and staff are friendly.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area. Perfect for a few nights away for a bit of peace and quiet but within easy reach of Oxford.

Loved this little place! It's cosy, quaint, and has a lovely garden area out the back. I love the skylight, comfy bed and sofas, tv and Internet signal is brill, I would definitely go again!
The shower is wonderful and really big, but the water does seem to want to leak out into the bedroom - it might become a bigger issue in future. Only other niggle is they ask for no pets to go upstairs, yet there is no gate or door to lock a dog downstairs. I put a towel up that deterred my dog enough, but again might be worth letting pet owners know in case this could be a problem.

We loved our stay and only wished it could have been longer. The location is wonderful in a beautiful village. The cottage itself was just beautiful, cosy, warm and so inviting. The immediate surrounds were gorgeous with views of the church and green fields from our bedroom. Thankyou so much for the farm fresh eggs - that was a nice surprise. Had a great night sleep and a great welcome to our first night in the UK!
The pillows were probably the only thing we didnt like. Far too soft but thats nit picking!

Perfect stay not far from Oxford. Beautiful little cottage.

The living room was neat, kitchen and bathroom fully equipped. Waterfall shower was lovely. Bed was very comfortable, and the views of surrounding area was good.
Would be great if the rear patio door had some sort of curtain, which you could close for some privacy for the living room area.
