About this villa rental
Nestled in the hills of Tuscany in the historic town of Vorno, the stunning C18th property Villa Michaela is a boutique-styled retreat, perfect for family gatherings, private events, corporate retreats and luxury weddings. The grounds of Villa Michaela are spacious, and provides an intimate and secluded location. Whilst the interior boasts a luxurious and unique mix of Italian and British style that reminisces of the Old World experience.
On our property, there are 12 double bedrooms in the main Villa, and a separate building adjacent to the main Villa, called Casa Una, offers an additional 5 bedrooms. We rent the main Villa and Casa Una both separately and together.
All bedrooms are ensuite apart from two which share a bathroom. There are also additional 'guest' bathrooms not adjoining bedrooms.
Within the grounds, we have a stunning swimming pool and tennis court,
Inside the Villa we have a games/cinema/conference room with billiards table. The Villa has a huge traditional Tuscan Limonaia kitchen which can seat up 20 people as well as a a beautifully frescoed dining room seating up to 35 people. We also have numerous outdoor dining areas that have beautiful views across the Tuscan landscape. Beside the pool, under gazebos we have a long table seating up to 40 people which is wonderful for entertaining large groups. We also have another outdoor dining space under the pergola behind Casa Una which offers stunning sunset views of the Appuan Alps and a more romantic, intimate lunch/dinner set up seating up to 30.
Villa Michaela also has a private chapel, which seats 100 people, and was built by the infamous Lucchese architect Lorenzo Nottolini, who also constructed the Lucca Aqueduct. Fully consecrated, the chapel is a perfect location for wedding ceremonies as well as private concerts.
We offer a number of activities and services for clients including private catering, yoga retreats, wine tasting, cookery courses, painting and drawing workshops, event planning, massage and other beauty services. We can arrange transportation to local markets and trattorias, tickets to recitals at the Teatro del Giglio, and live opera with Puccini e La Sua Lucca as well as much more.
