Maureen is a wonderful host! She was very responsive and she has helpful information about the house and island on the fridge! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed; even a salad spinner!! Having the bay right outside the doorway was very nice and the deck is the perfect spot to watch the sun rise!
Definitely recommend!!!

We were very comfortable in this home. There were very nice touches. Our granddaughters were thrilled with the stuffed animals placed on their beds. The home was so attractively decorated. The water access was nice with benches to watch the sunset. The deck area was very comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe there. We were disappointed that the hammock and kayak that were in the picture were not there.

We have stayed here several times before and absolutely love the house. We come to Dauphin Island to go birding during spring and/or fall migration. This house is the perfect location as it is in walking distance to two of the best hot spots on the island. And a short drive to several others.
The kitchen is well stocked and roomy. The beds comfortable. Since our last visit the stairs leading to the house entrance have been rebuilt and are much easier to use.
We will be back.

We had a blast. My boys loved the house the most. We needed to come a few weeks later to get in the ocean, but it was perfect to visit all the museums, and garden, aquarium, and so much more. The weather was great to be walking around. The fire place table is the best thing to relax to at night watching the sunset. 10 out of 10.

Great, comfortable home over looking Dauphin Island Bay. Well stocked with cooking equipment and kitchen appliances. Very clean home.
For birders you are in walking distance to the Shell Mound and Goat Tree sites.

The house was wondeful and had a beautiful view. We enjoyed how secluded we were and enjoyed the island activities. It was a beautiful home away from home.

The property was very easy to locate in a quiet area of the island. This was our first time to ever visit the island and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was very clean and well kept and felt surprisingly spacious as it utilized the square footage very efficiently. We rate the property very high and will likely stay there again in the future if we can.
A few things: bring bug spray, especially if you plan on spending time outside of the house around the property, so many mosquitos. Bring extra laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. There were only 2 packs of powdered laundry detergent, 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags provided, not quite enough for a 6 person stay.
Again, overall we were very happy with our stay and the property.

Really nice place to stay for several days. Had a minor issue but Maureen got it taken care of promptly. King bed was comfortable. No complaints about the others from the kids. Really liked the Forts, ferry, and the USS Alabama. Beaches were nice on both ends of the island. Great view off the porch. Was really nice to sit out there.

Beautiful home and view. Very well stocked with supplies needed. Although the beds were rough. The best bed in the house is the king. The queen and the twins are very uncomfortable! We left early due to medical issues due to couch sleeping! The island is everything we expected and more!! Thank again for sharing your beautiful home!!

Very quiet neighborhood, off the beaten path, but also close to everything. I
Very clean well organized property and nice people to deal with. It is waterfront, but the access is difficult. The view is pretty and your real close to a bird sanctuary. We would have played cornhole but didn't find the box upstairs till we were packing to leave. Great layout for families, really enjoyed the billiards table.

Cozy and Quiet
Came down for a few days with some friends. I personally found the master bed to firm but I also had a back injury. Swap with another guest and no issues in other bedroom. Kitchen had just about every pot and pan you needed. Grill was great and clean. We used it the entire time since we loved grilling. Even boiled some shrimp and peanuts lol. Pool table was a little bit of a let down. The neighbors on both sides were friendly and hung out with us after an invite. Overall enjoyed the house a lot. Ill come back.

Perfect for our family
The property was perfect for our young family. It is in a quiet neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. The view of the water is beautiful, especially in the morning. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for us to come back to and rest after a long day in the sun.

Great house on a quiet street
Great little beach house on a quiet street. Loved the decorating and little features such as the door lock. My kids appreciated the pool table as well as the theme stuffed animals on the beds. No actual beach access from the property but the public beach is only a short drive. Neighbor did let us know her frustration with prior tenants dogs crossing property line but we did not bring our pet thus had no issue maintaining boundaries.

Peaceful Paradise
If you are looking for a true get away this is it. It was our first trip to DI and we were very pleased with BayWatch as our choice.
Everything was exactly as pictured…but all of the attention to detail can’t be pictured. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking and serving needs, the linens were so soft and fresh, towel were nice, beds slept so well & furniture was clean and comfy. Bathrooms were clean and master shower was extra nice. All the touches of accent lights and nightlights made things feel cozy. Our kiddos loved the extra games and movies. We loved being able to explore the waters edge, birdwatch, and kayak right out back. It was just a short drive to public beaches which were not crowded. (We visited East and west end beaches)
The area of the home was very quiet and we always felt safe, the directions and recommendations given by the owner were top notch and left us knowing all we needed to know…we didn’t have to contact at all during our stay. Hot water held up to use for our family of 6 and air was nice and cool. A true home away from home. We hope to return in the future.

We loved the view! This was in a quiet place and in a great location! We were close to the beach and eateries. The girls loved playing pool!

Clean at arrival
Beat our expectation to be honest. From the pics it looked like a decent property, wasn't sure there was a whole lot of space but the way kitchen, nook and living room were in the same space, it made it roomy. Loved the space in the deck as well. It was clean when we came which really set a great mood from the outset.

Bay Watch Birding
Very nice property in a great location for ease of access to some of the major birding locations on the island. Great accommodations. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time with family. First scheduled visit was cancelled due to corona and second due to the hurricane. Owners were great and worked with us to reschedule. Would definitely stay again.

We had booked a separate hosting service in the area, where that separate host canceled 24 hours before. The separate service wasn’t allowing new bookings over “Halloween weekend.” Maureen worked with us to get lodging booked on Vrbo and was great a long the way. We checked out a few spots and museums, and we all had a great time sitting on the porch watching the ocean at the end of the day. The billiards table was also really fun to wind down the day with. Thanks a bunch, Maureen!
