About this cabin rental

This is a newly remodeled two bedroom cabin that is located directly on the water. The screened-in front porch has a breathtaking view of the lake and is a wonderful place to sit and relax. One room has 2 twin beds and the other room has a full size bed. An extra bedroom has been added to the back which has a full size bed. There is also a sofa-bed in the living room.

The cabin comes stocked with everything you will need for a relaxing getaway including bed linens, towels, dishes, and even a washer and dryer. The cabin has its own dock for your boat and easy access to the water. There are 2 boat ramps just minutes from the cabin for your convenience.

The cabin is a wonderful place for a vacation on one of the top 10 lakes in America. There are a few restaurants nearby and Chuck's Marina (which hosts Saturday Night Karaoke) is literally just around the corner either by boat or by car. The cabin is also ideal for Auburn home games with only a 40 minute drive.

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s property! It was our first time to Lake Martin and we will def be back. Our favorite part of the house was def the dock and the screened in porch where we spent most of our time! The cove is nice and quiet and we swam off the dock daily!

SCAM BEWARE!!! One of the beds was broken when we arrived. We fixed the bed, and they charged us. The screen door was broken when we arrived, they charged us $730. We left all the pillows; they claim we took some with us and charged us. We left all the towels, even washed them, and left them in the dryer and they charged us. They charged us for a LAMP, that no one touched???

Enjoyed the property nice view of the lake. Greg was available to answer questions and was great with check in and check out process. I would like to suggest some newer towels and linens also stove and dishwasher update. The over all stay was nice and fireplace came in handy on those cool mornings. Overall did enjoy the lakeside cabin.

Great place to stay! It’s a little drive to town, but not bad, and the bathroom/shower is a bit small for guys. The dock is great and screened in back porch is awesome. The clear water of the lake also surprised me. Overall an awesome place!

What a delightful find. We were looking for a pretty natural place just to get away and enjoy being together. This was it. The house is less than ~25 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, a state park, marinas, etc., but you feel "out in the wild," with the sounds of Lake Martin right at your doorstep. And the property is beautiful. Can't wait to go back!

Our family plus pups had a wonderful stay in this cabin. We loved that they have maintained the old cabin with modern updates. Plenty of room inside, comfortable beds, nice screened in porch with a beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed the use of the paddle board. Rural setting, but restaurants not too far and an easy drive to Auburn. Would love to return!

We got just what we wanted, a good old fashioned fish cabin. The pics were actually very close to reality, which is rare. The hosts were very accommodating. Will be staying there again. The location was great for my boat, the pier had really nice bumpers to protect it.

Arrived at the rustic property, unlocked the door, unloaded the car and got everything carried in. It was stuffy so went to thermostat to see if we could reduce the temp. Thermostat was programed to heating and blowing hot air. Talked to owner and he couldn't get anyone out to check new system. Ended up leaving after 2 1/2 hrs. We will be going back and trying another weekend. The owner was very nice and tried to take care of the problem but no one was answering their phone on a Friday afternoon/evening.

The cabin was newly renovated and very clean. It has a great setup to enjoy the dock and water which is right there next to the cabin. The water toys were a big hit and a nice amenity. Right around the corner from Chuck's which we always enjoy. Communications with the owner were super quick and helpful. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days with our two pets. The location on Lake Martin was spectacular. There is a very large screened porch with a wonderful view of the lake. The dock was in good shape and the owner provides plenty of water toys to get out on the water and enjoy it. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is remote enough to feel away from it all, but not a far drive into town or to nearby restaurants. We will definitely be back!

This was a super cute little lake cabin - perfect for our short weekend stay. We loved the location - not that far from Atlanta - and the view from the porch is perfect. The cabin isn't large for sleeping 6 people (we had 5) but for a short stay, it totally worked. There were lots of lake toys - including paddleboard and kayak- and we used them all! The place isn't fancy but is really cute and and suited to lake living. There could be a few more chairs to sit in by the lake (my mom noticed the lack in pics and we brought a few from home), more towels for the kitchen and bath (like washcloths) and the stove was hard to regulate on temperature so cooking was a bit of a challenge. But otherwise, we had a great time and would definitely rent the place again.

This rustic little cabin was a wonderful spot for our small family to enjoy the lake. We spent lots of time on the screened porch and swimming and fishing off the dock. Under the house there are kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, skis - so many options! The bedrooms and bath are small, but sufficient. The shower may be too tight for a larger person, but worked just fine for us. The house itself reminds me of a fishing camp. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. It's a terrific spot to enjoy the lake, especially if you'd like to bring your dog. Ours loved watching the birds and squirrels from the screened porch. We all had a wonderful time.

This is truly rustic, grass needed cutting, trees trimmed, shrubs trimmed. The photos were deceiving, did not show sagging ceiling on the screened in porch or the saggy bed. He says don’t harm the lily pad at the dock while using it but it was torn & had turned weird colors. With a little work it could be a better place.
