The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the host went out of her way to provide whatever you needed. We enjoyed being able to walk downtown.

Whitney and Shane's place was the absolute perfect place to spend a month. They are gracious and helpful hosts ,and were always easy to get a hold of if I needed anything. The house is darling and comfortable and has the best-stocked kitchen of any rental I've stayed in. And it's the absolute best location in town - set back a couple of blocks from Main St so it's incredibly quiet, but you can walk to everything in minutes. I'm a Bozeman local, so you can take my word for it!

Had an excellent stay here when moving back to Bozeman prior to moving into our house. Whitney was so sweet and welcoming on arrival and was thoughtful to put books and toys in the house for our daughter to play with. Loved the location. Would stay here again.

Great, seamless stay. Everything was made incredibly easy by the hosts, who also were very accommodating to any scheduling changes. The home itself is old but quaint, a much preferred alternative to the host of modern condos/apt buildings going up in downtown Bozeman. Would gladly stay here again!

We had the ABSOLUTE BEST month at Barbara's place!! We are a retired couple traveling the world staying at rentals for a month at a time, and 22 years of vacation rentals prior to this - I won't lie - I have had some "issues" with some rentals - but not at Barbara's Place! The location was PERFECT, the house was so completely adorable and most important it was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we could ever need and some - I mean everything! We greatly appreciate the small touches that mean so much like tissues in every room, I used them in every room, comfy blankets to snuggle under watching tv, a fully loaded butlers pantry with actual cookware that a normal person uses daily so we could cook (and clean usable cookware, not dollar store junk that you can't actually use), loads of supplies like garbage bags, paper towels, napkins for dining room, toilet paper, toiletries like lotion, soap and the list goes on - these things may seem simple but they are so appreciated when you are traveling - made for a great stay. The house is historic so you have to be prepared for that, it has the quirk of the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms, but for us that was part of the charm and we made it work, even with friends joining us for one football weekend. We were there for family and football (9 games in 4 weeks!) and this rental was perfect, we are so thankful for Whitney, she was fabulous! I highly recommend Barbara's place and we will most definitely be back!

My wife and I are retired and we spent a very enjoyable month in the summer of 2023 at this historic home. The house worked perfectly for us--the beds were comfortable, we used the kitchen frequently, we stored some items in the basement, and the furniture in the living room was very comfy. The antique art work, hardwood, and lamp fixtures were beautiful. The location is perfect--two blocks from downtown. We walked there frequently for dinner or to shop around. There is a nice park a block away. The yard was great for us because of our pet. Whitney the manager was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had one minor issue with a window covering the day we arrived and she resolved the issue the next day. We highly recommend this home.

Great experience
My wife and I stayed at Barbara’s Place and had a lovely time. The house has all the comforts of home. The location is very convenient to downtown Bozeman, with all parts of downtown just a short walk away. Whitney, the owner of Barbara’s place was a joy to deal with. You can tell Whitney takes loving care of the house and has thought about what it takes to have her guests have a most enjoyable stay.

GREAT location and comfortable Home!
Wow, thank you Whitney for the many thoughtful and generous touches! Location could not have been better, as we love Main St. and all it offers, including huge Lindley Park and infinite miles of walking/ bike trails right from house. Home was very comfortable, as was queen bed in master. Will definitely stay here on next Bozeman visit.

Great location close to Main Street
This is a lovely older home that is a short walk to many restaurants and shops on and around Main Street. The hosts live next door and are very friendly and responsive. The house has a well stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer in the basement. Street parking is pretty easy. It does get busy on the weekends but we could always find a place to park. A couple things to note: The bedrooms do not have room darkening shades and both have a window that faces east. Also the shower/tub is somewhat tall. I am short and do not have mobility issues so it wasn't an issue. But if you are short and/or have mobility issues, getting in and out might be challenging.

Great location!!!
We stayed at this home while in town for several days for our daughter's wedding. Most of our family were staying in hotels and we wanted more room to spread out and a place for them to hang out as well. The location puts you in walking distance to downtown which was convenient.
The home is older (historic) and the floors creak and not all the windows open so if that bothers you, this may not be the place for you. I thought it all brought character to the home and it was much more interesting than staying in a generically styled home.

Lovely, cozy, and excellent location
This home was really home away from home! Barbara's Place is absolutely immaculate. It is located only blocks from Main Street and has many restaurants, bars, and shops only a few moments walk away. The parking is on the street and we were able to park in front of the home every evening. My 85 year old Mother, my husband and I stayed for four nights in May for MSU graduation. Whitney was easy to reach by text and email, and she was extremely helpful and very sweet!

Winter fun
Perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of room for the 3 of us including our dog. The home is very well furnished and we really enjoyed staying here. We skied 3 times @ Bridger Bowl and cross country skied the beautiful trails outside of Bozeman the other days. Such a nice home to come back to after exploring this great area. Had a lot of fun with our daughter who is a MSU freshman.

Wonderful hosts, great location!
We went to Bozeman to go skiing at Bridger Bowl, one of our favorite ski areas. And we just happened to hit Bozeman during a major cold snap, below 0 degrees. So, our ski days did not work out quite as we had hoped. Whitney, our host, was incredibly helpful and gave us some great ideas on other activities to do in the area, left us toe and hand warmers and checked in several times during our stay to see how we were doing. In addition, she was very accommodating on our departure time when our flight unexpectedly got delayed. She went above and beyond the duties of being a good host! Whitney, Thank you so much again for everything!
Her place is a charming historical house and had lots of room for our family of three with nice touches throughout. There were plenty of excellent breakfast options and the kitchen was very well stocked. We made most of our meals there.
The house is 2 blocks from Bozeman's main street, which has lots of great little local stores and restaurants to check out. There is also a very nice park not far away. I highly recommend the Loft Spa if you are looking for something relaxing to do. It is 3 blocks away and had excellent spa treatments and a nice atmosphere.
We highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for place with lots of historic character and want to be close to town.

Clean, charming historic home close to everything!
Our stay in Bozeman was above and beyond our expectations. We loved walking to downtown every day for brunch and dinners - the food in Bozeman was AMAZING! The home was clean and more beautiful than the pictures. It had everything you could possibly need for a week-long stay. Extra amenities including toiletries, candies, face masks, and hand sanitizer was such a nice touch. Whitney was so sweet and great at communication about our stay. Will stay here again next time we're in town!

Barbara's Place
This Historic, charming, beautifully maintained home was perfect for our month-long stay in Bozeman, Montana. Whitney and Shane are attentive, friendly hosts. The location is very convenient to town, just two blocks from Main Street, allowing for easy access to restaurants, shops, and leisurely walks. The cottage is well appointed with quality towels and linens, comfortable beds, a modern kitchen with a nice pantry. We had everything we needed and appreciated the special touches and details that make this home so desirable. The Guest Book provides helpful information about the house and offers suggestions about the town for first-time visitors. We were able to enjoy great hikes, fly fishing, concerts, and visit many surrounding towns while staying in the relaxing atmosphere of Barbara's Place!

Downtown Charmer
We loved our week and a half stay at Barbara’s Place! The home is well stocked (especially the kitchen) with essentials needed for a comfortable, longer-term stay. While there are some quirks, as with any old home, the location cannot be beat! On top of that, Whitney was so attentive and helpful with our stay. They were also so welcoming and accommodating of our dog. We definitely recommend it for a couple or small family!

Barbara’s Place is amazing!
Wow!!! How can we begin to put into words what an amazing stay we had at Barbara’s Place?! I can honestly say it is the most clean, cute, and quaint places we have ever stayed! Whitney is so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Bozeman was expected to have some higher temperatures than they usually have, so Shane installed an air conditioner to keep things cooler for us. Touches like that are just one of things that made Barbara’s Place so great. We need to also mention the location...2 blocks from Main Street! We loved that, too! If you ever have to chance to stay in Bozeman, our family HIGHLY recommends you stay at Barbara’s Place! You won’t regret it!
