Property was very well kept. Lots of room for all 24 of us. Views were amazing from every room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even enjoyed the family of bears that ambled through the area a couple of times

27 of us ages 3 months to 77 years had a once in a lifetime experience. Tenasi was exactly as described. The descrption fell short of the actual facility. Stunning views from both front and back both inside and from any of the four long balconies. Lots of room for all of us together or places for solitude. Comfortable bedrooms for all 7 married couples wither either private or "Jack n Jill" bathrooms. Plenty of beds for all the kids. Kitchen well stocked with appliances, dishes and silverware. Driving up the mountain a wee bit adventuresome, but 2 wheel drive adequate. Sarah, our hostess, quickly answered all our questions.
It's hard to find anything negative to say. We will all have wonderful memories for years to come.

We spent several days at the beautiful Tanasi Lodge. It was a spectacular setting for our extended family of all ages. The inside was stunning, clean, and nicely decorated. The bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. Both kitchens were well supplied with a variety of cooking equipment and accessories. The inside sitting areas were spacious and we were able to socialize in large groups without feeling cramped or uncomfortable. The entertainment areas were a definite bonus.
The views were magnificent. We could see sunrises and sunsets from inside and outside the cabin. The balconies provided opportunities to observe the outdoors as we gathered to just sit and talk. Sitting around the fire pit at night provided another fun place to gather for talking and roasting marshmallows. The cabin, the views, and everything were as close to perfect as possible. We would definitely return to this property!

We had 17 adults and 5 kids, and this house had plenty of room for everyone. Having two kitchens was a great help with all of us. The kids loved the movie theater and game room. The views from both sides of the house we're absolutely gorgeous. House was clean, quick drive to gatlinburg and pigeon forge, but still secluded.
We'd definitely stay here again in the future!

Our family stayed at Tanasi Lodge for one week and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room and theater room, and the mountain views were amazing. The lodge was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner was friendly, helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here!

We had Grandparents to a 3 month old…making a total of 22 humans in between.
Roses… Everyone had a great place to rest but really we loved the spaces to visit, 4 balconies, 2 living spaces and the wonderful playroom ( kids haven). We so enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets off the balconies with our coffee or wine. The Lodge was a great central location. We laughed by mid-week, everything is 30 minutes away.
Thorns…I wish the house had been stocked with the staples, not just starters, of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. For the price of the stay, I don’t believe this is too much to request.
Overall it was the perfect experience.

FANTASTIC! Beautiful property with panoramic views, private parking, sleeping for 22 people in beautiful, comfortable beds spread over three floors. It took us nearly three years to plan this vacation and it was certainly worth it. We hope to see you again in two years.

We had a great stay at Tanasi Lodge July 8th to July 15th. The views from every floor and bedroom were amazing. We ordered BBQ from Jackie and he delivered it to us on Tuesday- it was fabulous and we had leftovers for the next 2 days. We liked staying on the outskirts away from the hustle and bustle but yet only a 30 minute drive to anything you could want.
We ordered pizza (online) from Big Daddy’s Pizzaria and would highly recommend it. The bruschetta was a highlight. It is about a 25 minute drive to get there but it was still warm when we brought it home.
On another note, for those looking to book in 2024, I believe they are putting in a pool which takes this place over the top!!
For context, we had 21 family members staying in the Lodge.

Spent the week of July 4th at the Lodge. We had our first family vacation with all our kids and grandkids (26 people total). This lodge was amazing !! Not only was driving up and seeing the house and surroundings, but the inside as well. The space and bedrooms were perfect for our families. The bedrooms were all a great size as well as the attached bathrooms. Our grandkids loved the bunk room. It was plenty of space for all of them. Even the little ones (2 and 3) slept with their siblings and cousins in the room as they were excited to be able to be with the "big kids". We never felt like we were on top of each other and that we didn't have any private space. The downstairs with the games, movie room, and extra kitchen were a bonus. We spent a lot of time there and we made some of our best memories in that space and the house in general. The balconies were a favorite hang out spot for all. One of the things we were in awe of was that we could watch the sunrise AND sunset both from this lodge! Bonus - we saw a momma and baby bear. Both came up to the fence behind the lodge and ate some leaves and then left (extra bonus was watching momma bear climb over the fence and knock it down lol). Our kids and grandkids still talk about this vacation and how it was their best one ever! We LOVED this lodge. The owners were the easiest to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly. The lodge had everything we needed for our stay, we just had to buy some food.

Our family spends every Christmas in the pigeon forge area. As we grow, we need more room! This is the best large cabin we’ve stayed in. The unit was fantastic. The outdoor fire pit became a favorite nightly gathering place. This was an excellent location.

This house was perfect for our extended family gathering of 17 people. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for large meals. The kids particularly enjoyed the air hockey, pool table and video games. There was enough room to spread out and have several activities going on without disturbing another group--some watching TV, some doing a puzzle, and others playing pool. The property manager answered questions we had promptly. The location is on top of a mountain and the driveway is steep, but we didn't mind the 25-minute drive to Pigeon Forge. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a large home with great views.

The cabin worked great for what we needed it for. Beautiful views and scenery. The only down side to the cabin is that the mattresses are horrible. That was the one thing that everyone complained about and the dead bugs in all the bathroom showers .

Me, my employees, and my business partners came to this property to stay for a week retreat away from the Florida heat. This house has the best 360 view I have ever witnessed. Everywhere you look, your breath is taken away and you fee like you could just sit there all day. The house is much more spacious than how the pictures make it look. The rooms are a little outdated, but when you have that view and the whole town to explore, it doesn't matter! Everything worked perfectly in the house and the water was nice and warm. The drive up to the house is defiantly steep, but the view reflects the drive up to the top. We all recommend this house to anyone, and to all ages as well!

It was the perfect property for our family. We had 15 adults and 16 yo, 14yo,11yo,7 yo, 3and 1 year old. So much space, plenty of bathrooms, and the view was spectacular. Enjoyed the stay

The house is excellent and has amazing views in both front and back sides. Lots of room on balconies to enjoy sunrise and sunset. The entire family, including children, had fun. Watch for some nails popping on balconies, especially if you have children in the group.
1.0 / 5.0
This lodge was large enough to accomodate three generations of our family comfortably and in a beautiful setting. The lodge has everything needed for preparing meals, dining together, providing recreation for children and relaxation for adults. Sarah was most helpful and timely in answering all of our questions.

Great Family Reunion Location
Beautiful location, well stocked kitchen for our large group of 34 family members, tourist locations for the kids, access to pool, river, etc. No problems with WIFI and TV cable channels. Highly recommend for any family reunion.

Exceptional lodge for large groups
Tanasi Lodge is beautiful, and offers spectacular views of the valleys below. It is well furnished and equiped. Our "celebration of life" could not have been held at a more peaceful place. Be advised, the last portion of the road to the lodge is steep, winding, and basically one-lane. If you encounter oncoming vehicles, it becomes very challenging.
Perhaps the owners/property manager could schedule occasional non-rental days so that any maintenance needs could be taken care of on a regular basis.

Ripken Experience Weekend
5 families stayed at the property for our entire Ripken Experience. The house has three levels which basically allowed the boys, girls, and parents to have separate levels to relax and socialize. The bedrooms are well organized to host multiple families. We would book this house again for a large group.

Five Star Experience
My family and I rented the Tanasi Lodge for a family reunion. This trip was so important to us because we wanted to celebrate our Seniors and enjoy our time together after being away from each other since the pandemic. This house offered amenities for three generations to enjoy, from the magnificent views to the arcade games. Furthermore, the communication with
the owner was exceptional. Visit Tanasi Lodge and create fond memories.

Very nice house with everything you need to be comfortable. We traveled with a large group of adults for a weekend church retreat and really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for privacy, everything you need in the kitchen if you want to eat in, and lots of king beds!

Still owed pet deposit refund after 9+ months
Property was as advertised and met family needs. A few minor maintenance items were needed but in all fairness I did not report them. The biggest issue I have is still being owed a $100 pet deposit refund over 9 months after staying at Tanasi. Cindy was notified prior to the stay that no dogs would be with us even though the pet deposit was paid. After two requests to resolve via text and email, crickets..............There is a firm policy on deposits and payments on the venue end but there is NO accountability and resolution if they owe you money. Beware if you pay any pet or other deposits, you may not get it back!

Reserved lodge in January for a September stay. Spoke to owner regarding needs for our special needs young adult. Explained in detail our needs and requirements. Was assured all would be fine. Called again regarding the driveway (due to reviews) assured again we would be fine. Our converted wheelchair vehicle bottomed out on the drive, his chair was unable to get into the bedroom. No hand rails in the bath. A tree in the middle of the path to the door where our portable ramp was placed. No other doors accessible. Reached out to the property owner regarding an additional day of stay and reminder off our dog; acknowledged no charge. Was verbally told we could check in early and late since no one was before or after us. Called Cindy explained our driving travel plans had changed due to our special needs kids issues. (We drove overnight vs during day so he could sleep). Again no response from property owner. We arrived at 2AM woke up at 7am with several not so nice messages and phone calls regarding our early check in. Offered to pay for the “early check in” with no response from property owner. Contacted Cindy about the limited parking and recommendations of how we should park - no response. Called about the fallen tree blocking the driveway after the storm. No response. Called our caterers- they brought a chainsaw. Tubs - slimy crud from the jets. No mats, slippery and not all baths have handrails. No dishes located in the downstairs kitchen. Damages all throughout the property. Pictures posted are of when the property was brand new. Furniture is worn out, towels all old and some with large holes. Not what we expected!! Now let’s get to check out. Our last night on the property the owner decides we should pay for an additional day and the dog fee she hasn’t previously collected (with my reminder even!) 3 emails requesting my cc info (previously submitted with her personal contract outside of VRBO) I explain that I don’t have my laptop available and will settle up once I return home. We depart on Saturday morning at 7AM - 10 hour ride without stops or incidents. 4 emails demanding payment of our early check-in and dog fee. I’m literally driving home and this lady expects this?? Hello! You had 10 days to return calls/texts/emails while we were in your property, you wait until we are traveling home to request? Then turn me into VRBO for a past due amount?? Unable to pay as the attatched contract reflects different verbiage!! UGH!! Renter beware. :(

Outstanding Reunion Location!
We had our reunion of college friends in June. We had eleven couples and we were blessed to be able to stay at Tanasi Lodge. Working with Cindy was great. Tanasi is even nicer than the pictures on line. It's spacious, clean and very well equiped. We loved staying there. This is our twelfth reunion. Tanasi Lodge is definitely the best place we ever stayed at! We highly recommend it!
