Beautiful area and immaculate cabin. Our large group (old war buddy Marines and our families) enjoyed the hot tub, community pool, game room, and Uber Eats delivery. Had daily (and nightly) black bear visits, but we adhered to the posted rules and safety was not a concern. Plenty to do in nearby Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Would highly recommend.

The Pros: The cabin was large. The bathrooms attached to the bedrooms were huge. The unit was clean, check-in was easy and the cabin was as expected. We had 16 people from ages 8-75 and everyone had space and enjoyed the cabin. A few drawbacks for me, the oven. It would not heat up and when it did, it took forever. We did not reach out about this because honestly, it was too late when we realized the issue. And the drive up to the cabin itself was nerve racking for me but not for the others in my group. However, the cabin is a long drive from PF activities. The mileage makes it seem close but everything was at least a 30 minute drive with the winding roads. Additionally, we were told the pool closed at 9, it closed at 6 (really early for the summer), which made it very crowded. Also, there were no fishing poles for rent.

This property was amazing for our family reunion. All adults got a private room with king size bed and direct access to bathrooms. The game room upstairs was great entertainment for all ages in our group. The theater room ended up being great for cousin sleepovers.

I didn't give this 5 stars across the board because the home needs quite a bit of maintenance. Not everything worked as it should have and some of the furnishings need to be replaced. Aside from that everything was perfect.
We had 4 couples and a teenager staying there. More than enough room for everyone.
Very nice views from the 3 balconies. We spent a lot of time on the main level balcony. The top balcony had the best view.
The home was super clean. Comfortable beds. I liked how 4 of the 6 bedrooms had private bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs. My favorite room was the theatre, though the TV is old and needs a modern Roku instead of the built-in apps.
We saw some bears walking around. They didn't seem too concerned about people.
There is an old gravel road that runs very near the home. It served as a challenging makeshift hiking trail.
I had never stayed in this area of the Smokies before, but it was great. 13 minutes to the park itself and about 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Wears Valley has a few shops and restaurants, but is generally very quiet and sparse.

The house was lovely and large enough for our party of 8 to feel they had plenty of room. Everyone loved their own bedrooms and bathroom on suite. The bath tubs were great. I used mine daily. The decks and views were beautiful. The game room was nice but the pool table only had one functional stick. The hockey table had a black puck that didn’t slide well and the arcade game had joy stick difficulties. Most of us spent time on the decks and enjoyed the hot tub every evening. We are a family of foodies so we cooked at the house every meal but one. The kitchen did an adequate job but the oven had a hard time getting up to temperatures we needed for some foods. We ate at the large dining room table every night family style. We all enjoyed that. The biggest highlights were that our frenchies could come and they had a blast. We love our four legged family and they enjoyed our vacation as much as we did.. We will be back again next year!!!! We did see a mama black bear with two newborn cubs down the street from the house. We kept our distance but enjoyed seeing them.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in this cabin. We had plenty of room for all 9 guests. The cabin itself is very nice. We played pool, air hockey, and vintage video games. The theater level was fun as we watched a different movie every night. The location of the cabin allows for beautiful Mountain View’s from each of the 3 decks. It has a large stocked kitchen where we prepared delicious meals most nights. The check in and check out processes are a breeze and the cabin was clean and ready for use on time. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Overall satisfied. Could use an overhaul, a lot of wear and tear from overuse, but all in all it met our needs. The view on the mountains was amazing.

The only thing I would change is that trash pick-up would have come a couple of times throughout the week.

We love the location of the cabin but we had issues with the stove it doesn’t work well we would have to triple our time when we were cooking in the oven. We also had issues with the water during our stay shutting off and staying off for about 20 minutes each time this happened through out the whole day and we would be in the showers or trying to cook. Also the property needs some maintenance done to the property and some items were broken that needed to be replaced or fixed.

We come up to the area at least twice a year and this was by far my favorite trip. The cabin was in excellent condition and it met all of our needs. The area is tucked away and was very nice up in the mountains. The cabin had just enough bedrooms and bathrooms and everyone had their space at night to rest and relax. Beautiful views and overall one of the best cabins that we have stayed in the area.......

Overall we were pleased with this property but I feel there are a few points to consider. There are no bunk beds, just 6 king size beds and 2 sofa sleepers (one was broken and my son ended up sleeping on the sofa). Like so many properties in this area, this home is built on the side of a mountain. If you have young children the height of the decks would be alarming as they only have a standard size railing. The road up to the Mountain Preserve neighborhood is also somewhat of a concern. I would not recommend a property in this area for elderly renters. Finally, the day we left, my husband walked out on the lowest level deck below the hot tub. He was seriously concerned about the black rotting wood supporting the hot tub above. He observed that the wood was also bowed. My husband has been in the construction field for more than 30 years and he said if he would have observed that early on in our stay he would have not allowed anyone in the hot tub out of concern it could give away. Again, overall this is a pretty good property with amazing views, just take the negatives I mentioned into account.

Nice Place
Overall, it is a very nice place. The pool access is at the neighboring RV park (@ 3 miles away) and it was very crowded and just not very nice.

Beautiful Cabin, far from things to do
We stayed at the Ridgetop Theater Lodge and the house was perfect for our needs. The house was large enough to spread out but also cozy enough that we could all be together when we wanted to be. The only things that were disappointing was the curtain rods were broken so any time we touched the curtains on the main level to look out at the view, the curtain rods and curtains came smashing down on you. The kitchen was not as stocked with cooking items as we needed. The posts and pans that were there were terrible and everything stuck to them. The cabin was 12 miles from Pigeon Forge which doesn’t sound like much, but the roads getting to the cabin are very, very windy. We got car sick each time we left the house which was a shame. We loved the cabin and the view but getting there was quite the adventure.

Long Weekend Vacation
Upon arrival I was very surprise the online information of the property gave me a difference prospective. I was not looking to have issues on the day we arrived . Broken items (icemaker, ceiling fans, etc.), bedroom very hot, etc.

Winter storms are serious
The lodge is what we expected. It is great for large family groups like ours. Eden Crest management was exceptional to work with. The road you must use to access the property is scary when pavement is dry. It is awful driving with snow and ice on it. Buy the trip insurance and reconsider going if winter storms are predicted.

Christmas week in RidgeTop Theater Lodge
Beautiful cabin very spacious and cozy. Loved that each bathroom had its own hot tub, the only thing negative was there was a pile of trash left outside in the main porch with some food but that was it. The cabin exceeded expectations, I didn’t want to leave. 10/10 would stay here again! This cabin, the view of the smoky mountains and all the fun activities to do in the nearby cities of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg made my 30th birthday unforgettable!!!!

The cabin was very roomy we had plenty of room to gather and had our quiet places also. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay. The road is a little tricky so do drive safely.

A great little weekend get away trip. All in all the cabin was great very clean and what was shown in pictures. The only problem we had was the hot tub was dirty but other than that it was a good stay.

Cabin and kitchen
The ice machine in the fridge is not working properly. View was beautiful. The pans we cooked with were not very nice pans as far as food sticking to them. Oven temperature was very unreliable. Nice game room .

Very expensive for average cabin. Ripped couch and Scorpions in Jacuzzi.
Very expensive for an average cabin. Shocked to see ripped off couch in the main living area. Each day we noticed on scorpion in one of the jacuzzi, we called pest control but still saw scorpion the next day. Biggest disappointment was the price we paid.

Size of cabin was perfect for our group of 16
Overall, it worked good for our family, but there are some upgrades needed. The furniture on the main floor was in bad shape, especially the sofa, love seat, and chair. Also, the deck chairs were falling apart! The kitchen was not very well stocked with bowls and toaster was broken. Bedroom and Bathrooms were great!

Mountain Theater Lodge.
Overall nice property. However, no ice as ice maker in refrigerator/freezer did not work. It is a joke to have to make ice in plastic trays. We Reported this on day one but no repair was done. Refrigerator is too small. Cabin needs full size new refrigerator/freezer with working ice maker. Suggest putting additional refrigerator downstairs in Theater area.
Some railings are getting dangerous as they need major repair or replacement., especially near hot tub on middle deck. Also, some deck boards curling and coming up causing a potential tripping hazard. Needs new outdoor furniture. Some chairs falling apart and beware, some rockers will dump you backwards when you sit down.
Needs a Keurig coffee machine and wine glasses. A few more towels would be needed if you had the maximum guests.

Pros: The view was amazing, the cabin lay out (in terms of privacy for guests) was nice. Very spacious, easy to access, plenty of parking.Cons: Main level couches look like a cat or something peeled the pleather off, the fridge never got cold, cold...felt more like a cooler, we actually lost power for 3 hours on Sunday. Thankfully it was only in the 60s so we just opened windows for air ci

Absolutely beautiful home. I have nothing but positive things to say. We had a group of 10 people total. I love that all rooms had king beds and 4 included en-suite bathrooms for privacy. The views were amazing of course! We made sure we utilized every floor of the home. Each night we spent time on each level. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. Thank you!

Overall good stay.
Overall, our experience was good, the property is VERY, however I was truly disappointed in the condition of the furniture. The sofa and love seats had a large amount of peeling, a dining room chair was wobbly/unsafe and there were torn throw pillows on the upper sofa in the theater room. For the price my expectations were higher.
