Location was excellent, couldn’t have been better. Great access to the slopes, supermarket, shops and restaurants.
Val Claret is a lovely village in a great resort with skiing for all abilities and great access to the whole area.
The apartment had a great kitchen with good quality appliances and we loved the Raclette. A few bits of dry sore cupboard thing left over by previous quests were very useful.
The hot-tub and sauna were lovely.
The view from the apartment was amazing, lovely to see across to the ski slopes and over the resort.
Very little storage. We were a family of 6 (four adults and 2 kids) the apartment was great for us but any more people would have been very squashed.
The downstairs bunk beds are open to the main living area with no door or curtain which made getting the kids to sleep hard!
The upstairs bunk room is in a room with the sauna and hot tub and has no storage at all, perfect if you just want to sleep but nothing else. We were shown how to turn the hot-tub off at night so it wasn’t too noisy and while we were using it we opened the door to allow ventilation which worked well.
The bed in the eves is crazy and totally unusable but as we didn’t need it, it didn’t matter!

Amazing location right in the middle of town with restaurants and bars on your doorstep. We were worried the jacuzzi would make the upstairs rooms too hot but there’s a balcony upstairs that allows plenty of air in. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is even a raclette machine. There’s both a lift and a beginner area just around the corner which made getting out in the mornings great.
It was all great, we got a few splinters from the walls but that was about it
4.0 / 10.0
Clean apartment with a great location and lots of new equipment.
On the downside: the concierge team were not exactly welcoming, and the building is in a very poor state. The apartment is set up for 10 people, with bunks in a corridor, only 2 toilets and the hot tub is in a room with 4 beds which is totally ridiculous - the whole room is hot, steamy and smells of chlorine. One of the beds in there is in the eaves with less than a foot gap between your head and the ceiling. Very claustrophobic. The bunks up there are only suitable for small children. There is no storage in this 4 person room. Fortunately we only had 2 children meant to sleep up there but they found it so uncomfortable they slept on the sofas instead. So 5 people downstairs with one toilet. There are 2 balconies but the upstairs one has no seats so completely pointless and the downstairs one is very small. The wood cladding used to modernise the rooms is cheap and we got splinters every time we touched a wall and the 2 staircases felt homemade, wobbly and too steep. We managed for a summer holiday but skiing would have been impossible. The photos make the space look generous but its tiny. The design is nuts, trying too hard to squeeze exciting things in whilst missing essentials like bedrooms and toilets. We were really disappointed and felt it was far too expensive.

The location and views from the apartment were excellent.
The bed in the loft was very tricky to access.
