Property well located in Moonlight Basin area of Big Sky… ski in ski out well worth the additional money. Big Sky in emerging as a true great ski resort… has a ways to go as far as development. So ski in ski out was critical to our group of 8.

Gorgeous View, Great Property
Our family ranging in age from 70 to ten stayed for a trip to Yellowstone. The cabin was beautiful and clean and small issues were handled quickly (needing more towels and propane for the grill). Everything we needed was provided. The view was absolutely amazing. We would absolutely stay again.

Large Cabin in Moonlight Basin
We stayed with a large group of friends and had plenty of room for all. The place is close to the slopes, a short walk and you are on your way to the Iron Horse lift. The property manager was great as usual as this is our 4th year. We had plenty of parking. I would recommend staying here, it has everything a skiing group could need.

Incredible mountain views/ super spacious!
Fabulous home for a large group! Sleeps 14 and we used all available beds...worked super well! Mountain views are incredible/ super peaceful (we were there at end of July)/ great home/ beautifully decorated/ has everything you need! The only request would be that the home had air conditioning as some in our party had allergies....but would highly recommend!!

Perfect Home on the Slopes
Well equipped home with lots of little extras you don't often get with rental homes - plenty of sharp knifes, serving platters, dish towels, laundry soap and Wii games.
Ski out was very easy, though it took some of us a few tries to be able to ski back in - once we found our way it was very convenient (accessed from either Iron Horse or Six Shooter).
The property manager arrived just a few minutes after we punched the code in the lock to signal that we arrived and answered all our questions.
LOVED the ski boot dryer and the heated floors on the lower level. Enjoyed the hot tub and gas grill on the deck.
I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

We loved our stay at cowboy heaven. The ski in ski out was fabulous. We loved the views from the home and the jacuzzi was really a bonus. The pictures on the wall were breathtaking as were the views from the windows.

Ho Ho Holidays!
We returned for our 8th season of skiing but first time in Cowboy Heaven. Very good accommodations we had! Ski access is close and a quick push to Ironhorse lift. Huge amounts of snow did not prevent the snow plows from combing the neighborhood so we could get out by car and enjoy meals both in the village, at Moonlight and down in the Meadows. The home is a compact version of the Powder Ridge cabins with better ski access from Ironhorse to both Moonlight and the Big sky side. The small requests we had of the property manager were attentively handled same day. Huge kudos to them for maintaining that level of service during their busiest time of the year. We will return should we have one family and the kids' friends in tow next time. Great location!

The Best Time of Our Lives
Where do I start? Big Sky has everything we could ask for. It has the most beautiful mountain view with so many activities to do. My family and I did the zip lining through the mountains, battle the raging Gellatin River during our whitewater rafting, and then to end it off we did a 2 hour horseback riding through the mountains. The Moonlight cabin is one of the most wonderful cabin I ever stayed. I highly recommend this place. Again, the best time of our lives!!!!

Awesome house!
We stayed here during New Year's week and it was a wonderful family vacation. The home truly is a home away from home. Everything is thought of within the place and the condition is superb! The rental agency even has a shuttle for the evenings which makes getting around even easier. With the foot of fresh powder while we were there and the hot tub to relax in after a day's worth of snowboarding, we had a memorable vacation and pictures for next year's Christmas card!

We spent a weeK in this awesome home. Weather was greatball the comforts of home. Saw a moose on the last night from the hot tub. We hope to stay again next year.

Gorgeous House, Fantastic Rental Experience! We'd be delighted to stay there every year!
This house was wonderful - a dream house for our trip. We had a large group of family and friends and were all extremely comfortable and spoiled by the amenities. Rustic charm with great features...gourmet kitchen with gas stove, large hot tub on the deck, oversize jetted tub in the master suite.
Besides a huge living area great for gathering, there was satellite TV in the loft and two bedrooms so folks could decompress as needed. Bathrooms en suite in every bedroom and the loft, plus a powder room off the dining room. Boot and glove heater in the garage was a treat!
Also, this house is one of the few in Big Sky situated in the sweet spot that allows true ski in/ski out to both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. That really gave our group flexibility.
As great as all those features are, the best thing about staying at this house is the outstanding service provided by Kristin and her team who manage the property. Imagine the value of direct rental that VRBO brings coupled with concierge service and a locally-based 24/7 emergency contact. The washer was broken when we arrived and even though it was scheduled to be replaced in a few days, Kristin and her team offered to take our laundry and wash it themselves because they knew we had young children. I can't say enough about how much they went out of their way to ensure we had a great trip.

Moonlight Lodge
Thirteen of my buddies from college came up to Big Sky over our spring break. Our lodging was amazing and made our trip well worth it. The cabin was comfortable and spacious. Everyone was able to sleep on a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the grill. The ability to ski in/ski out definitely made it easier on all of us as some did not want to ski full days. The ability to ski in/ski out to BOTH Moonlight and Big Sky was also a wonderful aspect. Overall, everyone was extremely satisfied with our stay.

Incredible family vacation!
Our extended family vacationed together for the first time and this was the perfect place for it! There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone, and each bedroom having it's own bathroom was a luxury! The management was very accommodating and responsive, and provided us with lots of information about the area and activities to enjoy. We had a wide range of ages in our group (infant to grandparents) and everyone was perfectly comfortable staying here!

Steep & Deep
Our week in Cowboy Heaven was great. The property is very nicely decorated, well furnished and fully supplied. Ski in ski out access to both Moonlight and Big Sky is very convenient. Powder & trees all week, and always felt like we had the mountain to ourselves!

Best Place in Big Sky / Moonlight - 2 Families, 5 kids and 5 adults
This was our 4th year returning and we finally found "our place." Location, amenities, and value . . . It is all here, plus the unparalleled service from Kirsten and Kris. Kirsten communicated with me constantly and recommended this house after I described our party. Kris met us at the house on our arrival to walk us through every detail about the house . . . the satellite HD 42" TV, the dual fireplaces (gas in the master, wood in the main room), the private hot tub, the sledding hill right outside, the power blinds opening to beautiful views. I could go on and on. We had two families, 5 kids (5, 4, 3, 1, and 7 months) and 5 adults. We were never crowded and we're all still friends! You will not find a better place in Big Sky / Moonlight.

Great for families
Perfect! We had two families, plus four extra ten year olds, and we were not at all cramped for space! The enclosed upstairs loft was great for the big kids, and bunk room for younger kids. Very clean, more than adequate kitchen supplies. And easy in and out for the slopes. We would definitely recommend this property.
