About this apartment rental
You will love this 1-bedroom/1-bathroom condo! It is decorated with a classic Western Montana mountain charm and is kept-up beautifully. This condo features panoramic windows for watching wildlife from the living room and has a patio that overlooks a large pond, which is the west fork of the Gallatin river and has an incredible view of Lone Peak Mountain and Mt. Wilson. It is a favorite view for all. You will often catch a glimpse of a resident moose family, elk, beavers, and geese while still in the warmth and comfort of the living room or from the porch. You can watch the sunset from the porch too!
Historically speaking, the founder of Big Sky Resort, Chet Huntley picked this location as the first resort housing developments, and once you catch a glimpse of the patio view, you’ll know he made the right choice.
Also featured in the living room is a large leather couch for enjoying a glass of wine or any movie in the DVD selection available for your pleasure with newly improved lighting in all the rooms and a new electric log hearth which create a nice ambiance and warms the room nicely. The condo is a minute walk to the indoor jacuzzi and guest laundry (coin operated machines) as well as a seasonal outdoor pool and sunning area recently renovated. Also there is high speed Wi-Fi available during your stay too which is complimentary.
The condo is very quiet, but also located close to the Meadow Village & Town Center of Big Sky where the majority of the shopping and dining can be found. It is a quick 5-minute drive to a number of fine dining establishments, boutique stores, farmer's market, movie theater, and free summer musical concerts offered for your enjoyment. However, just to reiterate, the condo is off the main road and very quiet with ample open space and groomed grassy areas.
FOR WINTER STAYS:
If you are considering a winter stay, there is 85 km of impeccably maintained groomed cross-country trails just across the street. Other local winter activities include snowshoeing (snowshoes & a sled are available with the rental of the condo), snowmobiling, yurt mountain dining, sled dog trips, horse sleigh rides and Yellowstone National Park tours. There is also the best downhill skiing and snowboarding in the country with often little to no lift lines. Big Sky has the largest amount of pristine ski terrain in the United States for your enjoyment. Take the free shuttle to Big Sky or Moonlight Basin ski area a 15 minute ride up the mountain. (The shuttle stop is located about 5-minute walk from condo.)
FOR SUMMER, SPRING OR FALL STAY:
If you are planning a summer stay in Big Sky, the area offers many wonderful outdoor adventures and sports. The condo is located on the Arnold Palmer designed golf course and it is a classic link-style 18 Holes/72 Par course. This beautiful public course and intimate clubhouse is located within 2 blocks walking distance from your doorstep. The clubhouse has a grill and small bar, Bunker Bar & Grill available for a casual bite and breathtaking view.
If a fly-fishing adventure is your preferred activity, you have chosen the perfect place to explore world-class fishing. The Gallatin River is one of the three blue ribbon fishing rivers in the area, along with the Madison and Yellowstone Rivers. Located within minutes from the condo, the Gallatin River offers 40 miles of fishing water which is public land that is easily accessed since the highway closely follows the river.
Many other sports are featured in the area such as: mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, ATV riding, zip lining, hunting, horse back riding, rock climbing, hunting excursions, white water rafting and trips to Yellowstone National Park. (Complimentary snowshoes and a sled are also available for your pleasure with this condo!)
You will love our place! It is very homey, warm, and welcoming. We would greatly appreciate no pets or smoking so we can keep the place in inviting condition for your next stay. Come enjoy this truly amazing part of Southwest Montana. As the locals say, "Come for the winter, and stay for summer."

Fall is a great time to tour Yellowstone, less crowds, cool mornings with warm afternoons. Highly recommend.

Highest recommendation possible. Great location, convenient parking, beautiful, themed accommodation by owners who took great care to decorate in Western motif. Bed was so comfortable, internet worked great, nice bathroom, living room was so relaxing looking out on magnificent Mountain range and immaculately clean. Close to great restaurants, Big Sky Ski Resort. We were there two nights sandwiched between five days each in Yellowstone and Glacier NPs, so perfect place to decompress before the next great Adventure.

Cozy and comfortable stay in a tastefully decorated condo.
We were lucky enough to frequently see 2 moose right outside of the living room window.
Just a short drive to Big Sky Ski resort.

Great place to stay when skiing at big sky. Plenty of room and comfortable. Close to jacuzzi.

Our trip was about skiing at Big Sky approximately 7 miles away. The condo has everything you could need for a week+. Expensive furnishings and oversized seating. No laundry in unit but available on property. Beautiful views and quiet. If you need a firm mattress this is not your place. A couple minor updates would make it 5 stars; shower updating (the spray hit me at chin height) and tile is old. The Condo really needs additional lighting. The entry key box needs to be replaced. These are minor issues. More importantly the Owners were very helpful and communicative. We enjoyed our stay and the location is close to dining and stores. Thank you.

Our stay was amazing! The views were beautiful. The little condo was perfect! It was clean, well stocked and so cute and rustic! The town center was just down the road and had everything we needed! The restaurants around the area were so good! We definitely would stay here again! Thank you!

Peaceful, serene views overlooking The Meadows pond & golf course and up to the mountains. Easy walk to the market & Bistro restaurant. Also enjoyed the owner’s recommendation of The Corral restaurant for dinner.

Our stay at this VRBO location was wonderful. The condo met our expectations as advertised. It was clean, homey, and in a terrific location. We had a great dinner at Olive B's and hiked twice at the Ousfal trail which was nearby.
Thanks - M & M.

This was our first vrbo experience and our first time in Montana. We couldn't be happier with the results. The communication with the owners was exceptional. The process was seamless. The views from the condo were spectacular. I don’t know how they got that Moose to walk right by our window but it sure added to our experience! Well done!

This condo was comfortable, convenient, and charming. Ideal for Big Sky skiers like us, getting to the slopes was so easy. The views from the condo were great (the moose walking out back in the morning was an added plus!). Local stores, shops, and restaurants were close by and given accurate recommendations by the owner. We enjoyed the hot tub on the property after a hard day on the slopes.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I had an international employee stay here and she loved it. It was determined her project was going to take longer than expected so we extended the stay for her and all was seamless and easy. Though there wasn’t much Autumn left to enjoy the deck, a few days did give her a chance to have morning coffee out there and admire the beautiful scenery. Wld def return!

Beautiful Scenery and great location
We loved the property. It is really in Big Sky proper. While this is a pricey area to visit, this location was more reasonable than another location we stayed at during our trip. Take a fishing pole if you are staying in the area. Take your golf clubs if you can. Great Town area and some neat restaurants and shops.

Big Sky Condo
Comfortable overall experience and terrific location with great golf and beautiful hiking trails nearby to explore, with magnificent view of Lone Peak.
Had hoped to use the bikes as described for further exploration nearby; however, the larger bike for adults had a broken chain.
Also, my wife would have liked an iron to utilize prior to dining out nights.

Cozy place, close to town with amazing views!
Loved staying here! Your porch backs up to the beautiful Montana mountains and golf course. We had breakfast on the deck every morning. Easy mile walk to town. You’ll have everything you need (spices, cooking supplies etc). Communication with Cassandra easy, check in was a breeze. The bed was SO comfy. We slept so well. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a comfortable place in Big Sky!

Cozy condo on a beautiful stream and golf course
Stunning view. Close to village, biking, hiking and golf. Plenty of restaurants nearby and on Route 191. Terrific location for day trips to Bozeman, Yellowstone and throughout the Gallatin River for horseback riding, rafting, 4 wheeling, excellent trailheads and fly fishing.

Beautiful property
Enjoyed our time at this condo. Quiet, relaxing. Great time of year to visit as had snow and sun days. Condo stocked well and comfortable. Neighbors friendly and plenty of parking. Saw moose on the property everyday. Condo sits on a body of water with river close by. Can hear the water running and it brought lots of wildlife for viewing.

Big Sky Meadow condo
I was very pleased with the location and amenities offered by this unit, very quiet, kitchen was well stocked with the added bonus of easy access to cross country ski trails on the golf course. Also enjoyed watching a moose grazing below the window in the willows. The only downside was lack of adequate lighting in the living room for reading or in my case knitting but not a deal breaker.

Big Sky waiting for the Grandkids.
Property was as the owners described , was very comfortable and well equipped. Downside was loud neighbours and Barking dogs at 3 am. Nothing the owners can do about that.

Cute property in quiet location
I’ve stayed in numerous places in the big sky area, and this was in a quiet community. The condo is a quick walk to the hot tub and spa area. The kitchen was well equipped and had spices and oil in the unit. The decor was nice and the view was great. Could see lone peak from the couch!
