Everything was great. Shelby was proactive in checking in with us to see if we got in okay and had any concerns. Answered quickly when I called her with a question

We had a great time. Although it is a small place, we never felt cramped or crowded. The place had everything you'd need. We loved all the hiking nearby, shopping and eating in Bryson City, and relaxing in the hot tub. Can't wait to return!

We had real nice relaxing week. Property was as described, no issues, clean, very peaceful. Weather was beautiful all week, hot tub at night with a full moon was priceless. We did the train ride, saw elk, fontana dam, walked trails in Smokies. Saw waterfalls and made the 2hr drive to Chimney Rock State Park....that was amazing park. Overall great place to stay and wonderful late September vacation. Thank you

The cabin was nice. Everything we needed was basically there. Cooking stuff, paper products, even dish soap. No issues accessing cabin except 1st night. We arrived after sunset and the cabin was a smidge difficult to find. I’d suggest jotting down door code before coming off main road. The internet was scarce of course when we arrived. The only major issue for us was the bed. It isn’t comfortable at all, someone else may find the bed fine but I prefer a thicker mattress. I think the living room
Would benefit with another sofa or oversized chair. There really wasn’t anywhere to stretch out at night except for the bed. Overall our stay was great. If the mattress was switched out and more seating options added I would definitely rent this cabin again.

My husband and I like coming to the area to do some fishing. We loved this little cabin and the beautiful surroundings. We had beautiful weather and all the spring flowers and spring blooms were on the trees. The view from the front porch looked over a yard with purple and pink blooms on the trees, and a pretty gravel road with a small creek running beside it. The back yard was surrounded by woods with a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub in the evenings, so incredibly relaxing. We also enjoyed grilling several of the fish we had caught on the grill. The inside was decorated very cute, it was clean, and had everything we needed. We definitely will be back to this little cove!

We spent our Christmas holiday at this cozy space. We enjoys snuggling up in the king bed for family movies and the kitchen has enough to cook all of our meals. The outside is very private with a covered space to enjoy. The location is perfect. Right off the interstate so easy to get to alot of areas for exploring but tucked away for enough privacy. We visited the polar express, tube world, Bryson city, and Cataloochee valley for elk watching. 10/10 would recommend this stay. Looking forward to returning to explore more of the surrounding areas.

Such a relaxing vacation! You’re pretty well secluded, relaxing hot tub, wonderful views, and so much more. Owner was super friendly and easy to communicate with as well 😊 We will most certainly be back!

Perfect location and setting!
This tiny home is perfectly located and was so clean and cozy. We stayed here to mountain bike at Tsali for a few days and the location was absolutely perfect for this. Only about 10 minutes from the trailhead. We also went to the Tapoco Lodge for lunch one day, Bryson City to shop and dine and then to the Nantahala Outdoor center for another dinner. This location felt centrally located to all of this and made it easy to get around. 100% would recommend if you and your partner or a friend are looking to get away for a few days!

We’ve stayed here before and knew what to expect. It’s a cute small cabin in the woods and it’s close to the Almond marina which was great. Nice that it has a grill and for a small kitchen it really has everything you need. We saw a spider the size of my hand when packing up to leave which honestly is fine given the fact it’s a cabin in the woods. The mattress is also not comfortable which I can get past given the price of the rental. What I had a hard time w is the cleanliness of the hot tub. It looked a little murky but smelled strongly of chlorine so we figured it was fine. We both ended up w a horrible rash from the bacteria in the tub. I actually got one last time we stayed but didn’t equate it to the hot tub. They need to drain and decontaminate the hot tub so it doesn’t happen to another guest. Chlorine doesn’t kill everything and given the number of guests and frequent use of the tub it’s important they’re treating and cleaning it appropriately.

This was the perfect location to be close enough to everything you need and where you want to go, but far enough way to enjoy peace and quiet.

Great property
My husband and I had an amazing stay as always. The bed is comfortable, house stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The property manager is real easy to work with and extremely attentive.

It was a perfect and peaceful getaway. Close to Bryson City. It was a very simple cabin, but just enough for my husband and I!

Beautiful and quiet
The property was exactly as listed. High end finishes, super comfy bed, and quiet area. There is a house in the front of the property but it didn't diminish the secluded feeling. It's super close to the Tail of the Dragon and we also enjoyed a day hike in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed it a lot, especially with all the lights and bubbles off so we could enjoy the stars. Perfect for adults and children. It was small, which I liked, but with enough space for the adults and children to enjoy time apart. Also, Shelby was amazing and very easy to reach for questions and a last-minute change to the number of guests. She was a great hostess. Will definitely be back.

Cute cabin
My grandma and I took a road trip and stayed at the cabin for 3 nights. It was really quiet and comfortable. There is a house 100 yards from the cabin but it was a very nice stay.

First Vacation Getaway w/o the Kids
First vacation without the kids in 22 years. We loved the house and the location. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting on the deck listening to nature for the two of us. The tiny house had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and late night dips in the hot tub with a nice glass of wine. We went on day trips driving on the parkway in the Smoky Mountains, Mount Mitchell, Bryson City, local shopping and boating. We will be back in the future. Thanks for the memories!!!

Great stay in Almond
We loved this little house. It was perfect for the two of us. It was fairly close to the almond boat rental we used. The kitchen had what we needed to grill at the house one night. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit as well. There are a few houses fairly close, but it was private enough. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect get away spot
Everything about Hummingbird Haven was just perfect! My husband and I felt right at home, and we enjoyed the seclusion. There are other cabins and homes near by, but far enough away to have privacy. Everything was clean and in good working order. I appreciated having the cordless phone to use if need be due to no cell service. (We could text). It was nice not hearing my cell phone ring (for a change) during our week's stay. I would definitely book this cabin again!

A perfect mountain getaway. Hummingbird Haven is heaven.
We stayed here for our anniversary and found Hummingbird Haven to be just perfect. Loved the cozy feel, the place looks like it is brand new. Bed was super comfy, hot tub was amazing. Enjoyed cooking on the grill and listening to the rain on the covered porch. Built a fire in the fire pit both nights and enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub after a day of exploring the mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The owner is very friendly and responsive, we are planning to visit again soon. If you need a few relaxing days in the peace and quiet of the Smoky Mountains, look no further ! Pet friendly, our babies loved it, the loft in the master bedroom would be great for kids, excellent layout, and the internet and satellite were great on a rainy weekend. Shelby and George have a beautiful place; thank you for a wonderful stay and we will return soon and hopefully stay longer !!! 5 stars is an understatement. Thanks so much !

Needs some work
Cute place and clean. The toilet would not flush correctly we had to plunge it every time. The fitted sheet on the king bed were old and had hard balls on the fabric.

Family holiday getaway!
This place was perfect for our annual trip to North Carolina with our to boys (5 and 7). The cabin had everything we needed. The main bedroom had a great king size bed, plenty of blankets and a cute loft above it that had two additional twin beds. Although the kids didn't sleep in the loft beds (a little high up with just latter access and was worried about them trying to come down during night in the dark), they enjoyed playing cards up there. There was also a nice size dresser to store clothes. The bathroom was equipped with washer and dryer which was really convenient. There was plenty of hot water and also laundry soap provided. The dryer sometimes had to be run twice to fully dry clothes but worked out just fine. The kitchen was small but served its purpose and appreciated the spices, hot cocoa, coffee maker/ filters and more. The living room was great with the pullout bed and the kids enjoyed watching movies in the DVD player to rest at night. It was really sweet how the cabin was decorated with a small tree and some Christmas lights. We also enjoyed the tables outside, grill and fire pit area.
This location was nice and about 20 minutes from Bryson City and Inlges grocery store. We rode the Polar Express with the kids and had a fun time (although lucky we got some last minute tickets and would have booked months ago had we known about the attraction). Fontana Dam was breathtaking and enjoyed hiking at Deep Creek.
Michelle was super responsive and helpful throughout!
Small suggestions for the place (more hooks for towels/ coats) and access to full size broom/ decent mop. The stick vacuum was decent but didn't pick up everything.

Wonderful place to stay!
This cabin was perfect for my husband and I to relax! Very quiet area and very close to Fontana Dam and Bryson City. It’s about 20 min from both areas. The bed is very comfortable. We cannot wait to stay here again!
