We provide several sets of snorkel gear in various sizes, beach toys, and also two travel beach chairs (with built in cooler pocket) and umbrella to take with you for day trips exploring Cayman’s numerous unique beaches.
The master bedroom balcony is a true gem! The sun rises directly across the water. Watch the sky transform into glowing colors for sunsets too. A new king size bed in the master bedroom is perfect for post adventure naps.
The downstairs bedroom has two twin XL beds that can be combined to create a king. The lounge has a queen size sleeper sofa.
Both bedrooms have large and bright en suite bathrooms, featuring lots of counter space and closets with plenty of room for suitcases so as not to crowd the bedrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped and updated with stainless steel appliances and stocked with all of the cookware & serving ware you need for cooking and feasting. There is also charcoal BBQ on the beach. The kitchen island with bar stools is great for entertaining, and check the cabinets for our games & puzzle collection!
From personal experience, we understand how helpful it is to have children's amenities at the destination while traveling. We have a Pack N Play travel crib, high chair, kids utensils & dining ware, books, toys & games, beach toys waiting for you to lighten your suitcases.
Please feel free to contact us if there's anything that you need assistance with to make your stay more enjoyable. We love sharing our favorite island recommendations!

Tristan was super responsive. Place was just as advertised. Thank you for a great trip!

We spent a week at this lovely condo and had the best time. Having a private space with a nice, warm pool just steps from the water was a dream. The condo was one of the best stocked VRBOs we've ever stayed in - plenty of soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, TP, trash bags, etc. We walked to nearby Kaibo coffee and restaurant for at least one meal most days and enjoyed some simple meals from the local Chisholm's grocery store other nights. We did grab lunch and beach time at Rum Point one day, but preferred the quieter vibe at our place. The paddle boards and sea kayaks were used daily and counted at least 20 starfish in the shallow waters between our beach and the Kaibo dock. I waded out one last time on our final morning and even caught sight of a small stingray swimming in the bay. What a memorable family trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for spring break. It was the most well appointed condo we’ve ever stayed in with our kiddos. Perfect for our family! We will definitely be back soon. Thank y’all so much!

What a wonderful condo near starfish point. Owner was readily available for questions and concerns. We were there for 4 weeks with guests coming and going. Owner arranged cleaning service around our schedule. Pool was great, kitchen was stocked with everything we would ever need, place was spotless, stars were amazing, starfish right out in our bay, and the perfect spot to watch the sun rise!
Our unit had the advantage of privacy being close to the end of the beach. All staff (cleaning, landscapers, tree trimmers, etc) were so polite, kind, and friendly!
We walked to rum point several times, were very near Kaibo. Lovely neighborhood for walking.
Bioluminescence bay was very close.
We traveled to the north and east a few times to hit some of our favorite restaurants and found a few nice snorkeling spots.

We have vacationed in the caymans numerous times over the years. We fell in love with this location, especially Tristan and Chantelle’s home. Its the only place for us now. They are the best hosts we’ve ever had. We feel at home here. The views, the water, star fish and beautiful sunrise and sunsets are a wonder to behold! We plan on coming back soon and often!

Liked the cleanliness.
Not condo problem, but would be nice to have instructions with driving laws and speed limit in kilometers

We like to stay in areas that are calm, peaceful and less chaotic. If that’s your vibe, this is your place. Away from the hustle and bustle of George Town, beautiful Starfish Beach just down the street. Great sunsets while having dinner/drinks at Rum Point just up the road. Private pool and outstanding hosts with great communication.

If you want to stay in Rum Point this is your spot! The host is friendly, attentive, and obviously considered guest in mind. All the tips for shopping, restaurants, and navigating the island was provided as if they knew the questions before asked. They also provide the creature comforts you are used to at home combined with a well maintained property.
My husband & I brought our daughter & niece of 16 and they loved the private pool/beach that was very close to some of the islands best excursions without the hustle & bustle of the west end of the island.
My husband enjoyed the view from the private balcony off the main suite, the private BBQ area, & your own pool that was highly refreshing in the well known Cayman heat.
The host offers water sporting gear with two kayaks and life vests & floats for the pool & the kitchen has all you need. We would go back in a heart beat.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary spending 10 days at this property. Absolutely loved having our own pool to cool off from the hot Cayman sun! The two kayaks and the paddleboards added to the fun & ability to explore the surrounding area. We loved that the condo had everything we could need, especially a great blender. Highly recommend finding mango trees to pick your own fruit, blending up some mango smoothies with local rum and enjoying them while floating in the awesome pool! Thank you Tristan & Chantelle!

The condo, it’s location and experience with owners exceeded our already high expectations. Have vacationed on the island in the past so we’re familiar with all it has to offer. If want to enjoy having a beautiful view of the beach just steps from your door, water so warm and calm you can walk right into, see starfish laying all about, snorkel for hours, kayak to star fish point and watch the sunset, or relax on your own private patio with pool, this is the place for you!! It was paradise for us in every way!

This is our 3rd trip to Grand Cayman and we always stay in the Kaibo/Rum Point area. This is our first time staying in the Kai Pools and it worked well for us because we traveled with 2 immunocompromised people who can only swim in salt water or private pools! It was the perfect location with great amenities- plenty of water toys (kayak, boards, snorkel gear and life jackets) and the condo kitchen was well stocked with all needed supplies. It was great having to 2 separate bedrooms with attached baths. Plant of towels and other supplies. That said - the only downside to this unit is that the unit is beginning to look it’s age. Chipped tiles, some mold in showers and living room furniture was very uncomfortable. The downstairs king was two twins pushed together and not the most comfortable. The only dining table is on the patio and when there is no breeze - it’s pretty hot. However, none of that took away from the great time we had and I would recommend this unit and the Kaibo area! (PS - you will definitely want a car in order to explore because the ferry can be expensive and doesn’t run late if you want to enjoy a night near 7 mile beach or the other attractions on the west end of the island.)

We had a great stay at the condo. Had everything needed for our family - larger pool than expected, family friendly setup (games, pool toys, etc) and right on the beach. There was so many starfish right off our beach and we enjoyed kayaking out to count them and paddling over to starfish point (but more starfish by the condo than starfish point). My boys also enjoyed all wildlife…iguana showed up right outside the condo one day, many little lizards, hermit crabs, and more on the beach. We also caught a snorkeling/sting ray city boat off the Kaibo pier, which is a very short walk down the beach. We had a great stay!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks here for our 30th anniversary. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals in. The pool was super clean and the beach was very quiet and private. Would definitely stay here again.

Called Tristen and Chantelle on Sunday night to extend our stay. The property was rented that we were in. They got us into another place that was just as magnificent as the first. We enjoyed 3 more days. The attention to comfort and detail far surpassed anywhere we have stay. Tristen and Chantelle are the best. Left jewelry behind found by the cleaner and they made sure we got it before we left the island. Truly wonderful people. Will absolutely stay with them again and recommend to everyone

With a private pool and the ocean just steps away, what more could you ask for? Great location if you're looking to get away from the crowds of the West End of the island. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and with the added lanai open area, there was plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out. There are tons of Starfish right in front of the property (actually more than at Starfish Beach) and the Bio Bay and Stingray City tours leave right off the dock within walking distance. We used the kayaks and the kids loved snorkeling. The downside is there isn't a lot of restaurant options on the North Side so stop at a grocery store on your way up.
Our family had an amazing time here and loved the Christmas touches from the owners such as treats waiting for us, a bottle of champaign, and Santa hats🥰

We had a very nice stay in Tristan's condo in mid-November. The condo is very nicely appointed, the kitchen is small but well stocked, and Tristan is very quick to respond to any issues or problems that may arise.
Positives to the location - it's conveniently located really close to a great coffee shop that sells delicious chocolate croissants, and its proximity to the dock where many of the charter boats now come to pick people up for Sting Ray City and snorkel tours (try White Sand Charters - great tour guide, much smaller tour groups and less expensive than most others on the island) is fantastic!
We appreciated the beach chairs and kayak provided, and it was wonderful being able to have breakfasts out near the pool. We did pay to have the pool heated throughout our visit, but not sure we'd do that again as it only made a big difference a couple of nights when we didn't have a lot of sun during the day.
Lots of towels, toiletries, and paper goods provided and it was very handy having the washer and dryer in the condo!
I will say that I do agree with some of the other reviews regarding the water. It is very weedy and because you're in the equivalent of a bay, you don't get the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. It feels a bit more like being at a cabin on a lake than a house on the beach. If you're looking for a sandy beach that stretches for miles with lapping ocean waves, this may not be the best fit. On the plus side, the water was crystal clear and made spotting starfish (of which there are more right out front of the condo than at Starfish Bay down the way) really easy.
The location is a bit removed from things overall which may not appeal to everyone. There are just one or two restaurants within a five mile radius, so make sure you have a car if you want some variety. Our biggest disappointment was finding Rum Point was closed. There were a couple restaurants there that would have addressed the restaurant shortage had they been open, but all the retail venues are closed there and the once beautiful and busy beach is loaded with huge piles of construction dirt/sand. The locals have no estimate on when things might open back up and don't have a consistent answer for what's actually happening with the place. I wish we'd known before we got there as it was one of our favorite places to hang out.
All in all, a nice time in a nice condo. Thanks Tristan for having us and being such a gracious host!

We really enjoyed our quiet stay at the Pools. The condo is just like the pictures and was more equipped than most rentals. There are many small details that make this place a perfect stay for families (the pool, kid toys and books, many hermit crabs on the beach, and more). Our only disappointment was that the bay feels more like a lake than a beach, but overall, we loved our stay!

We loved staying here - it was nice to have beachfront ocean access but also a private pool. We were picked up by boat to go diving a short walk along the beach at Kaibo and Starfish Bay is a short 2 min walk or paddle away. Everything was great!

The Pools of the Kai property was perfect for our family of four Cayman vacation. The North Side location was lovely and quiet just as we hoped. Walking distance to the Kaibo beach club was perfect for dinner out and an early morning excursion to Stingray City. The private pool was great for the kids and we enjoyed the drive into town for day trips to Seven Mile Beach -- so much to see along the way. We felt like we really had the opportunity to explore the island. Excellent communication with owner and house was FULL of extras that made things easy for beach outings. We had a delightful time.

Excellent
This location is excellent. Wife and I enjoyed 5 here. Your just steps away from being able to swim in the ocean. Pool is great. We enjoyed the laid back slowed down atmosphere at this end of the island, too. This place would be perfect for couples, friends, and parents traveling with kids.

Our Easter Stay
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. My two year old was constantly entertained with the toys and beach and being in a new place. We felt very at home in this property and safe. We would definitely recommend to anyone and stay again!

Fantastic place-really!!!
If you are like me, you might look at most rentals for what it is lacking and what might be hidden flaws. Let me reassure you that this place has none in my opinion. I doubt that I could have picked a better location if you are looking for a non touristy local experience in the Caymans which is just what we had hoped for. Both large bedrooms have a great view and are wonderfully comfortable. The screened in lanai is your living area. The beach location gives total privacy as it is the next to the last unit. The two person kayak gave us access to many areas, even stingray city if you like kayaking like us, by our own means. We watched the sun rise each day from our unit and walked a couple of minutes to starfish point to watch it set at night. There are plenty of local beach places to eat simple yummy food and the drive to the other side of the island is not so far as to make it difficult to get to. The condo is extremely well kept, the kitchen well stocked and the owners very kind and available. This is one place you can rent with no worries.

Very relaxing
We had such an amazing time. Very relaxing. The property was very clean and in a perfect location. Checkin was very easy and the owners very helpful. Only 2 complaints, 1. The curtains in the bedrooms are very thin and let so much light in, so not great in the mornings, 2. (Not in the owners control) The owners in one of the other units (#5) were very miserable and constantly complained about the kids playing on the beach even though they weren’t being loud or intrusive of their space, other than that it was just what we needed and would definitely stay again

Great Staycation Option
This is the second time we have been to this unit in the last 6 months and it keeps on getting better. The unit is well equipped, has the best location in the complex and the owners are fantastic to deal with. We have a toddler and the unit has the perfect layout and amenities to keep her entertained. We cannot recommend this unit enough. We will definitely be back soon.

Great stay
We are residents of Grand Cayman and went to the Pools for a quiet getaway. The booking process and administration was easy and the owner very responsive. The instructions for the unit were clear and concise. We have done a few staycations in Grand Cayman and this unit is by far the best stocked for families. The owners have thought of everything be it an umbrella for the beach or a high chair for a toddler. The unit is great, its very private and the pool is fantastic. When heated you can spend the whole day in the pool and outside area, we loved it. I cannot recommend this unit enough and the owners are fantastic to deal with. We will definitely be back.

Quiet and beautiful
The property was all that we needed, with the private pool as a big bonus! We prefer staying in quieter, uncrowded areas that are not completely secluded and this hit the mark. The privacy was great and there was a bar/restaurant we could walk to on the beach if we wanted some interaction.
The two bedrooms were perfect for our family of 4. My husband and I took the upstairs. We ran the air conditioning at night and opened up the doors in the morning. If we kept the upstairs bedroom shut with the fan running and curtains closed, it stayed cool the entire day. We made meals in the kitchen several nights. The pool was heavily used and was bigger than I expected. We did choose to heat the pool, which kept the water temp around 90 degrees Fahrenheit...perfect for evening swimming! The washer and dryer were great to have, as we could pack a little lighter and re-wear clothes.
I would 100% stay at this property again. On top of the property itself, the owners were extremely responsive and helpful.

Amazing staycation!
We are all sadly back to reality after a fabulous weekend away staying at Tristan and Chantelle's place. Pools of the Kai was a fabulous choice for our girls staycation weekend, but we all also thought it would be great for our families, perfect spot with kids, a staycation for residents, or a peaceful and relaxing vacation for visitors. It really is a perfect place no matter what you are looking for!
We enjoyed the private pool and screened in patio, spending most of our time out there. The location couldn't be any better-a short walk down the beach and you are at Kaibo. We walked down to Kaibo for early morning coffee, and afternoon drinks and evening dinners. We didn't have to hop in the car once-what a treat! Felt like a real vacation off Island-it is so peaceful out there. We also hopped on a boat right from Kaibo and toured around the many wonderful areas in North Side.
The unit itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The view out any room is incredible. The hosts were always quick to respond to any questions I had which was much appreciated.
We will definitely be back and are eager to recommend this place to all our friends and family!
