Moderate level of money value

Just only the nice view

Very steep stair and feel dangerous when carry the heavy luggage, room was not clean properly, noisy from outside as sharing facilities with other that’s not mention in booking.com

Good View but not luxury

This is a not Luxury. Ir is a shared house, have 3 rooms with keys and you share the other areas. The bed was comfortable and the view is really beautiful.

The room and bathroom was not properly cleaned. The balcony was not cleaned for a while.

Very disappointing and false use of the term “luxury”

Comfortable bed and nice view

Bathroom not properly clean. Insufficient toilet paper for 3 nights. Shower screen leaking. Bathroom sink not draining properly. Toilet seat unsecured. Towels very small and thin and not replaced and no rails in bathroom to dry them. No hand towels. Large painting over the bed balancing unsafely on bed head and not secured. Unkept garden. No extra bags for very small bin. Need to carry luggage up steep steps/driveway. Bungalow implies separate building. Was a self contained room in a guesthouse.

Accommodation ok, location great, be aware you will need to take your luggage up steep driveway.

Amazing views from room and location was good as we were working in Sandy Bay. The room was adequate and cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery were good.

Had to walk up an extremely steep driveway with luggage. No blinds on kitchen windows and door - light left on until late so difficult to sleep. No milk and provided coffee with whitener. Noise from upstairs was mainly of a night but made it difficult to sleep.

Nice place to stay in south Hobart.

Beautiful views and comfortable bed.

There were leaks in the bathroom. A lot of stairs to climb.

Awful. Definitely not child friendly. Read reviews before booking.

Sofa was comfy.

Entry: extremely steep drive which you need a 4 wheel drive to get up. Would be impossible to get up or down with a pram. Toddler almost fell down the slope. Entrance is not private. Steps and entrances to other accommodation right outside the room. Other guests banging the door closed throughout the evening, keeping our toddler awake. Door is also glass so light from other guests comes into the room when you're trying to sleep. Soundproofing: consists of draught excluders under the door. Could hear other guests word for word. Coffee machine: was 2 sachets of Nespresso Fully equipped kitchen: a few (dirty) utensils. We bought some of our own and left them there. Tea towel was wet and dirty and thrown under the sink. Dish cloth had food stuck to it. One small bin liner provided King size bed: is a double. It was also broken. Separate bedroom: non existent. This is a studio apartment. Washer: non existent. Only a sink for hand washing but no powder provided. Dryer: blew the electrics when used and was told by the property manager not to use it when we reported it Bathroom: shower screen leaks all over the floor. No toilet roll holder, no towel rail, no hand towel provided. Half a roll of toilet paper for 3 days for 3 guests. Sofa bed: is just a sofa, with no additional sheets WiFi: awful. Devices struggle to connect to it. Smart TV wont load shows. Dishwasher: non existent Outdoor dining area: concrete patio with no chairs or table Not sure how this is allowed on booking.com when there is so much false information on the listing.

Not comfortable and not satisfied

The view only

The pillow and the odour inside the whole room. From previous tenant very strong. I was not able to sleep also with the pillow provided. I book for 2 nights and move out in the morning rebook hotel

It was adequate not the best.

There was no breakfast as advertised. Not even milk for coffee

The driveway is dangerous gradient too steep and if one car is parked at the top you would get run into, due to the blind corner at the top Many many stairs to carry your luggage up. Cleanliness is not the best and there was a severe leak from the toilet all over the floor

Great property with wonderful views! Clean with good amenities.

Very steep hill into the property which is slippery when wet. Need a car to access the property as it is up plenty of hilly roads hence the great views!

Very good value for an overnight stay, great location.

Excellent value for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed and nice warm shower.

The driveway is extremely steep, so it was impossible to bring my car up. A towel rack in the bathroom would also be a good addition.

I was a disappointed as some of the basic things you expect in a room were missing or not working

Good location for us and looked very nice in the photos. Potential to be great accommodation if they listen to peoples comments. I know some people disappointed no TV. Not such a problem for me.

-The Heater had a fault display and was not working at all. -No towel racks or hooks in the bathroom and no shelf to put a wet pack/make up bag on -No bedside lamps -No tea towel in the kitchenette -The bed base had a broken draw so not so nice to look at.

OK stay but prefer own facilities.

There were great views from the kitchen and lounge area, although little time was spent in these areas.

As an older person, I did not like the steep access to the property. It is quite a haul up to the back door to gain access, especially carrying luggage. There is only street parking and there was quite a bit of rubbish around the driveway and footpath area. The property was clean and tidy but there was no tv in the shared lounge area. I would also recommend that bedside lamps be provided as the overhead lighting in the bedrooms is spotlights. I'm not a fan of a shared bathroom, although I had no problems during the stay, but in future, I wouldn't stay here because I prefer my own facilities.

View from our room or balcony was santastic... worth of money.

Location is only 5 mins to the CBD and prime areas. The room was clean, and the bed was completely comfortable.

Only step to second floor...is to steep if you have more than one suitcase.

Dissappointing.

Comfortable bed. Sea views from the co-share main room.

Cupboards, bath and kitchen cooktop were dirty and there was a dirty towel on the floor in the wardrobe. No fridge in room and no en-suite; Maybe my fault but I did not notice that in the advertising. The room did not look like the picture on booking.com. The driveway was curvy and impossibly steep; it would have taken the front end of my car off where the driveway meets the road. There was no way to get a car safely up there AND turn it around. The street was narrow and the property is at the end of the road. Three point turn in the dark was impossible. More like a ten point turn. No staff on site. When I emailed the owner she thanked me for letting her know but did not offer any form of compensation or incentive to return.

The views are spectacular but two flights of concrete steps were challenging for our age!

Just the fact we had to carry bags up 2 flights of steep steps. Not getting any younger! Husband disappointed no TV in room! The property is spectacular.

Has great potential did not live up to it.

Great views.

Room was not clean on arrival, I had to ring to find out details for finding the key to get in, very steep driveway which we had no prior knowledge of, air conditioning/ heating did not work, a small heater in its place that was not suitable to warm up the space, tiny thin blanket on the bed in the middle of winter, bathroom looking shabby in need of repairs, very noisy with shared accommodation upstairs waking you up in the night.

very disappointing. Advert very misleading.

The view is nice, but the photos are very misleading

there are something like 40+ very steep steps to get up to the property. Very difficult at night and there is no light on the 45° driveway…..very sparse facilities., No television, either in the room or in the lounge, no mirror in the bedroom, not even a picture … the place is for sale and the owners are obviously just trying to rake every dollar they can out of the property without spending any money. Would definitely not recommend. incredibly disappointing.

The room was great, but I won't accept being lied to, EVER!

Nice large, clean room with great onsuite, and a shared kitchen/lounge

After carrying our luggage up a ridiculously steep driveway, then up some stairs to the rear of the house, I entered the supplied code into the key box to find it empty. No bloody key! I rang the phone number and got no reply. When the contact person rang back I asked him if he was the owner, to which he said he was, he had to ring the cleaner and find out why the key was not supplied? He rang back again and advised me to go to the front of the house and gave me another code for it's key box, so we got in, finally. The online blurb said 'free parking' which is important as we were on our motorbike, the owner told me the free parking was out on the street! I told him that was false advertising, the Ad implied there was onsite parking. Then he advised that he was NOT the owner? So he lied to me

Excellent Stay!

The bedrooms were near and tidy, good quality bedding, bathroom was exceptionally clean, view was lovely, everything in the bad reviews about this place has been fixed.
