Very peaceful and relaxing cottage. Estuary views, lovely garden and comfortable decking space. Everything provided internally with a special owners touch ( flowers , and basket of treats ). Very clean, with good linen, comfortable furniture and sufficient heating. I am recommending Bronte.

Bronte Tides Cottage is a very special place with stunning views of the tidal estuary and sunrises. I stayed for 3 weeks and was delighted to find it even had an office room, which I could use for yoga as well as carrying on my business. Sunny and warm when the sun shines, and has a fire for the colder months.

Idyllic, private cottage tucked away from it all
Bronte is a charming English cottage with a divine garden and beautiful outlook. It is peaceful and it demands rest. If you’re wanting to be able to walk to cafes and restaurants this is not the place for you. If you are wanting tranquility and a short drive to wonderful cafes and a gorgeous village experience, this place is for you.

Idyllic
Thankyou very much Lesley and Darryl for our stay at your Book-a-Bach. This accommodation is definitely so much more than "bach" implies, beautifully appointed, spacious and in a beautiful location. We have had a lovely week visiting local family and thoroughly enjoyed all your place has to offer.
Also, many thanks for your welcome basket, which was well depleted !

Lovely family holiday
Thank you Lesley for a lovely family holiday. The cottage is peaceful with such a lovely outlook. The kids enjoyed running down the hill to the water. Close to nice cafes and shops but away from the crowds, which was perfect for us.

What a happy, peaceful home away from home
Sometimes, if you are lucky, the cottage you rent feels like home. In this case it probably is the happiest home you know. Beautifully situated looking out over the bay, three sheep as only neighbours, seating areas on every side, with the well maintained garden providing privacy and living space for all the birds that like to sing to you. Very comfortable inside, with walls full of art from the owners, it is a as if you step into another, far more peaceful world, the moment you enter the premises. Imagine your ideal cottage, this is it.

We loved every day of our six week stay at Bronte Tides Cottage. The cottage and location could not have suited us better. An easy drive into either Richmond, Nelson, Mapua or Motueka. We would come again without hesitation, - pity that it is 11,500 miles away!

Excellent accommodation, in a idyllic location
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Bronte Tide Cottages. The Bach had everything we needed, clean and tidy, and it was easy access to Abel Tasman and Nelson. We also did a trip to Marlborough which was only 1hr 50 in the car. We also liked the vegetable patch that we had access too, fresh flowers were a nice touch, and the complimentary gifts.
Thanks.

The cottage is gorgeous and exactly as it looked in the pictures (actually better)! We woke up to beautiful countryside and water views with the sun streaming in. It had everything you could need (and more) and was immaculate with big comfortable beds. It is the perfect place for summer fun, but equally enjoyable as a cosy winter retreat. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family.

The property is in a wonderful location, very peaceful, with views of the estuary, but also close to restaurants, vineyards and art galleries. The garden is beautifully kept and very private. The house itself is similarly well kept, very comfortable and very clean. The furnishings are stylish, and with Darryl and Lesley's art on the walls it was a lovely place to stay.
