We had a wonderful retreat! The house is gorgeous and comfortable.
A few challenges - sheets quality, water pressure and temperature, no instructions on how to do things (specifically heating, video room, tv’s, etc). No welcome letter with instructions.
All in all - still a great stay!!!!

I can't say enough great things about the 5 nights we just spent at this incredible home. There were 9 of us total and everyone was blown away by the accommodations and how every detail had been thought of at the home. The floors, driveway, and deck are all heated so even when it was 10 degrees outside you can walk around barefoot and not be cold! The ski-in/ski-out is easier than what we have experienced at 5 star resorts at other mountains. The boot-warmer was critical and a huge plus! The owner and property manager went out of their way to make sure the house met our expectations and answer any questions that we had. There was a keg on tap when we arrived and the property manager walked us through all the key things to know about the home. Generally we like to go to different mountains each year, but after this trip our group has already unanimously decided to make this our annual spot. We are a bunch that likes to cook and the kitchen there was perfect for that! Thanks for a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back in 2020!

Wonderful!
We've rented a lot of properties over the years and this is by and far the best house we've ever rented. Firstly, it's location can't be beat. It's truly ski in, ski out. The kids could come and go as they pleased. And, for those of us that can no longer ski (mom, 72, can't risk getting hit), the snow shoe trails are right next to the house as well. Also, for the size of the house, it was extremely comfortable. The owner and manager were welcoming and full of information about the area. Truly, better in person, and given the amenities, a fair price.

We are a large group of friends that converge each year at a chosen ski resort for Super Bowl weekend who are willing to pay premium rental rates for luxury amenities that these kinds of homes offer.
The description of amenities & photos are indicative of the home. It’s well appointed in most regards & offers easy ski-in/out access for all levels of expertise. Josh the property manager was very responsive during our stay, but a few too many things failed to meet expectations.
The house instructions lack detail, mostly communicated verbally to one person upon arrival, requiring a sort of ‘telephone’ game to relay them to the entire group.
For example, the DirecTV boxes, ceiling speakers and lights in the common areas on both levels are controlled by a complicated software on a single iPad with no protective cover that you have to keep track of & hope you don’t drop. Music choice is limited to free Pandora stations that make you listen to commercials every few songs.
Window coverings are severely lacking. None in common areas. None in one master bedroom. Sheer & not large enough to cover the window frame in bedrooms--we had to use a binder clip to keep one set closed.
Several closets & ski lockers are locked. The owner’s belongings & vehicle take up half the garage.
We ran out of room in the garbage & recycling bins after two days. We were given no instructions on removal days.
A proper wine bottle opener was not provided.
The lower level fireplace was inoperable upon arrival then was fixed improperly so it had to stay on all the time, making the room uncomfortably warm & an unattended fire hazard.
With radiant heating & no A/C in bedrooms, once it's too hot, it stays too hot. It was 75-77 degrees when we arrived & didn't ever really cool down. We had to open windows & doors at times.
A crew spent 2 days removing some but not all snow from the roof, blocking the driveway & entry with noisy equipment & piles of snow. Afterwards, water continued dripping onto the lower entry, the upper deck, and onto the hot tub area.
It took 2 days to get someone out to fix the hot tub when the jets stopped working.
Just before arriving, the owner canceled our booking & asked us to re-book the stay on a new VRBO account. When we re-booked it, the numbers did not match. When we contested the difference, she haggled over it, saying we were “making a big deal over $100 for a $4 million home rented below her normal rates". She ultimately honored it.

Lovely property: check. Great location: check. All the small things that make for a good stay: NOPE.

Upon arrival we were in love! Beautiful home with everything we could need. So convenient to the village and ski in/ski out. Josh the property manager went through the features of the home and was easily accessible for any questions. We went as a family and it suited us perfectly. The kids really got a kick out of the bunk room and the adults loved the gourmet kitchen and media room! We will definitely be going back!!

My wife and I had considered three other homes to rent besides this one. We choose this home due to the overall upscale mountain elegance paired with the absolute perfect lot. On numerous occasions, we would walk out of the backyard and ski down to the lodge or chairlift. The convenience of being right on Copper Mountain is what makes this home the ideal choice for us. We also found it enjoyable to watch skiers coming down the run while we were inside the house. The property manager is very client focused and is a pleasure to work with. Overall, the property is quite incredible. One suggestion for the home's owners is that the various missing ceiling light fixtures should be replaced so as to not detract from the otherwise perfect ambiance. Regardless, this home was exactly what we were looking for during our trip and we look forward to staying here in the future!

Wonderful Time
Very impressed with the house. Well built with all modern amenities and furniture. I am normally a very picky person who is fortunate to stay at high end places when I travel. This one tops them all. Everything from soft beds to nice decor. Everything was working as expected.
Josh was great as well. Very good communication skills and helpful. He offered to bring a blue tooth speaker after hearing we for to pack ours. Well worth the investment. We will cherish our memories we made and have plans coming back very soon.

Spectacular, beautifully decorated ski in/out home
This is by far the best location and most beautiful home up at Lewis Ranch. The house was immaculate when we arrived and Josh the property manager couldn’t have been any nicer. The house iwas exactly as pictured on VRBO. beautifully decorated with every amenity you can imagine. Will be back again, best ski vacation we’ve ever had!

Beautiful home, great floor plan for a multi-family/couple getaway, awesome location w/great local support. Copper Coach will cart you back and forth to the various Copper Villages & staff driving are fantastic, friendly, & helpful. The Copper & Christy folks are great & renting gear was a breeze. Property could be gorgeous but falls short on many levels. It seems the owners have lost interest or lack appropriate maintenance and support. Dog hair everywhere! There were products in the refrigerator w/ 2013 exp dates. Perhaps we are spoiled after staying at many beautiful properties and do the same for our guests in a similar property. We have a binder with directions for all of the nuances of our home and a welcome basket for our high-end property. Folks, quality and class is cheap...a gift basket of eggs,OJ,bacon, maps and making sure basics stocked. Instead, we had countless little issues from dishes in dw on arrival to lots of things not quite functioning correctly. No wine glasses or wine opener for Thanksgiving. Needing to ask for paper towels and trash bags. Josh, the property manager, did come take down a shower head that had calcified over and dropped off TP, PT, and trash bags. They charged a substantial cleaning fee-the shower head issue just makes you wonder why the cleaning folks did not notice if they just cleaned the bathrooms. Would have been water under bridge until we were completely sleep deprived after 3 nights that we decided to just abort on the 4th night. There are areas with literally no window coverings even on the master door that opens to the main deck :/.....was quite bizarre. Luxury homes and hotels nearly universally have blackout shades to assure rest and comfort. Nope. Had to find sheets to cover the windows after got the response "I'm not the designer" & closest Home Depot is 20+ miles away for temp shades. The kicker was the battery low alert for the alarm system going off in the middle of the night 2x. Emailed prop mgr that responded that the alarm did not go off and the "comm failure had nothing to do with anything". Seriously? He pre-empted the lack of window coverings with my niece on the walk-thru but when I expressed the 6am beaming light thru the door was a unique complaint from me. When you try to make people feel like it is them that is the problem....it definitely does not go over well. We decided getting some sleep in a hotel booked last minute would be better than enduring 1 more sleepless night sadly.

Description was exactly what we got. Remarkable. Beautifully appointed, brand new home. Tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings and fine art. Every detail has been considered to make the guests feel at home. We were greeted by Josh, the property manager, who made sure everything was perfect our entire stay. Location was excellent. Privacy in the trees right at the trailhead to miles of cross country skiing. For downhill, skied right down to the lifts and right back to the house each day. Ski locker room on ground floor was a nice touch. Hot
tub right outside the patio door. Best setup I've ever seen. Short drive (.5 mile) to great restaurants, shops, athletic club/spa. Only place at Copper we'll ever stay again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.
