About this cabin rental
With two covered patios on each side, the 1600 sq ft cabin has spectacular views! Stay warm and relax in the hot tub right, grill up some food, or roast s'mores on the shared fire pit right outside the door. Short driving distance (25 minutes) from the West entrance to Yellowstone Park! Great for UTV/snowmobile trips with close access to nearby trail systems!
This cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 12! The master bedroom on the main floor features a king-size bed. The upstairs bedrooms feature a queen and twin bed in each. The loft area has a bunk bed and two other twin beds so there's room for the whole group to sleep!
The kitchen is equipped with all the cooking basics, along with dining space for the whole group. The main living area has a couple comfy couches, beautiful gas fireplace, and a smart TV. Down the hall is a washer and dryer set to make you feel right at home.
The cabin is located in a new area off the old highway, making it close to everything! Short driving distance (25 minutes) to the West entrance of Yellowstone, (5 minutes) to the golf course or gas station/grocery store. Also great access to trails for ATVs/snowmobiles located just off the old highway.
WiFi, towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, are included. Drive way with parking space and room for UTV/snowmobile trailers. (Campers/RVs are against local covenants)
One or two dogs are welcome. The pet fee is $20 per dog per night. And we require that they never get on the furniture or beds. Even good dogs can get anxious when left alone in a new place and that is when they damage things. So your dog must be in a crate if you leave him behind in the cabin. (We do not provide the crate.)
To keep the cabin beautiful, you are responsible to pay for any damage caused by your dog. Because the extra cleaning will interfere with the cabin being ready for guests later that day, if there is damage or dog hair on the beds or furniture, then the extra cost is a minimum of $100.
You'll have access to the entire cabin including the hot tub, grill, shared fire pit, washer/dryer, and the parking space out front! (RV's and camper trailers not allowed) The fire pit is shared with the loft next door on a first come first serve basis. Usually, there is propane for the grill and some wood to burn near the fire pit. If not, you're responsible for filling up the propane tank or getting fire wood at Robins Roost gas station just a couple minutes away.
I won't be present during your stay but available for any questions or concerns. Please call or text to let me know and I'm happy to help.
Only 12 miles/25 minutes away from West entrance into Yellowstone National park and close to Henry's Fork on the Snake River. Also the cabin is within about 5 minutes away from a couple restaurants and a gas station/grocery store where you can get anything you may need or forgot.
There isn't any public transportation in the area so you'll need to have a car to get around. There 700+ miles of trails that you can ride motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles etc on. We have ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles available for rent if you're looking for a different way to explore the area other than in a car.
From mid-December to March you can depend on snow in Island Park. The roads are plowed well, but it would be a good idea to bring a vehicle that works well in the snow. A truck with clearance, 4WD or AWD is best.
Take an adventure on the hundreds of miles of trails for snowmobiles, UTVs, and ATVs right out the back door. We also rent out snowmobiles, UTVs, and ATVs as well and can arrange a rentals for you!
We ask that you do a couple simple things when checking out like take your trash to dumpster outside, load and start dishwasher, wash towels and leave them drying, pull sheets off of beds that are slept in and leave them on beds. We do this to make sure the cleaning service has enough time to get the cabin ready for the next guests and to keep fees lower for you.

We had a great time visiting Yellowstone. We had a group of 9 of us and we had plenty of room to sleep and park our vehicles. I had a couple things I had to get in touch with the host for a couple of things and he responded very quickly and promptly. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. Thank you!

This cabin is at a beautiful location. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful made fire area along with benches and swings. Morning Outside view is mesmerizing as there are mountains on both sides. Only feedback is to trim those sharp edges of the tree like structure or beam in the center of the cabin. It can hurt someone very badly.

We really enjoyed the house, and it was a great place to come back to after a long day of exploring. We had plenty of room to spread out, and we enjoyed the hot tub (with a view) every evening before bed. The house was clean, there was plenty of info provided for us to have a good stay, and we liked the location - it felt like we were miles away from anything, even when there were other guests staying next door. We also enjoyed renting ATVs down the street and we spent a day exploring Idaho's trail system. My only constructive feedback is that the kitchen is not as well stocked as you'd expect in a house of this size. If you plan on cooking anything beyond the basics, bring your gear! Also, the dryer is very slow, so if you are planning to wash your towels on the morning of departure, as instructed, make sure you only have one load, or do some the night before. We had a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

This was a wonderful property. Wished we could have had a fire in the beautiful outdoor area. There was a fire ban in the county. Lots of beds. The description says 4bedrooms. It’s not. It’s 3 bedroom plus a open loft. Which was ok. It’s a new cabin so it was so clean. My family adored the hot tub also. Would highly recommend 🌟

Awesome family vacation
We just completed a wonderful stay at this cabin. We were able to see Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons and Craters of the Moon since it’s so conveniently located. We had a few questions throughout the week and Jake always responded quickly to us. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Property and great communication
We came during a period of difficult weather and YNP closing. That had nothing to do with the property. We were glad to have this home base and the hot tub, fire pit and fireplace for the cold nights. Once the weather cleared up it was even better with great views and a pronghorn hanging out feeding on the property. Property manager was great with communication. Even checked in on us with the park closure to see how we were doing and worked with us on an extension given our next stop was flooded out.

Nice cabin
Plenty of room for our family and had everything we needed. Was a short drive to West Yellowstone and is a quiet area. We stayed between seasons, but will keep this place in mind for ATV and snowmobile fun.

Minor disappointments
Just a few issues that were annoying. 1)no propane there for no fire, 13 degrees, no tv remote, had to have the maid come over to move furniture to find it. I wish I had know the driveway was so muddy and unattended and t would be nice to have a few amenities shampoo, soap, etc.

Nice cabin for large family
Liked the layout of the cabin to perfectly accommodate 12 persons. Although it was advertised as "New", the water/ice dispenser on the refrigerator did not work. The kitchen was also short of dinnerware (plates, bowls, cups, mugs...) and the soap dispenser was running out, which should have been taken care of before arrival of new guests. However, Carol was excellent in responding quickly to our needs/requests...THANK YOU! Location of the cabin was nice, secluded from town, but took longer than expected to get to Yellowstone's west entrance, especially during peak times, about an hour some days. Gave 3 stars for cleanliness because the shower curtain liners were dirty/stained and smelled and tub could have been cleaner and drained slowly. Overall, the cabin met our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

Close to West Yellowstone
It was less than 30 minutes to West Yellowstone. Unfortunately, we arrived days after the West Enterance closed and that means West Yellowstone is pretty much shut down...fortunately 1 pub (the Buffalo Bar) was open and Chantelle was awesome. The Wolf and Grizzly Discovery Center was open and the kids loved it...the people there took the time tell our kids about the olives and grizzlies that we saw. The cabin was beautiful and plenty of room and beds. The kitchen was big enough for my husband and I to work in comfortable with 3 kids playing. The hot tub was the perfect end to the evening...I haven't slept that well in months. We will definitely be back.

Great location and property but it was filthy
The place was filthy!! Floors, countertops and appliances were not cleaned prior to arrival so a family member and I cleaned for almost a total of 4 hours before the rest of our group arrived. Management stated more than once that the cleaning service doesn't have enough time to do a better job. For the price of this service there is no excuse not get the rental cleaned properly!! It is a shame, the place is new and in a great location. This property is going to be ruined by disrespectful guests and negligent owners!! After much resistance, the owner did refund me $55 of the cleaning fee which was not near enough for the time and effort we had to spend cleaning chunks of food and fingerprints from the entire main floor. Carpets had not even been vacuumed! The advertisement for this property guarantees cleanliness and this was very disconcerting, especially considering we were in the middle of a pandemic. The owner simply did not seem to care or take responsibility for the uncleanliness. He and the manager actually made excuses for it!! I wish I had paid closer attention to the previous reviews that addressed this issue before my stay. I could've saved myself a lot of money and trouble!!!

We rented this spacious cabin for our visit to Yellowstone Park via the west entrance. It wasn’t too bad of a drive (less than 25 min) to the park entrance. Given that we were going to spend most of the time in the park, it ended up being a great place to sleep and had more than enough beds and living areas for our family of 6. The booking and communication process with Jake was easy. We had a few issues during our stay and Jake was always very responsive when we reached out. The cabin is very new, so on the plus side all of the beds, TVs, (most) appliances, are in great condition. WiFi worked really well. The cabin is so new that the pine is still dripping inside...so watch some of your stuff. We had a few drops of pine sap land on some clothes and a computer and it is a pain to get off! When we checked in, the cleanliness was just so-so. There were still crumbs on counters, in cupboards and a dirty shower. As it is a newer cabin/listing, it doesn’t have all of the “seasoned” vacation rental things. You know, the “some other family bought a spatula and left it there” sort of stuff. So we found the kitchen to have the bare minimum, not much more. For instance - the only spray cleaner we could find was windex, so it made it hard to go back through and clean things a little more thoroughly when we arrived. There was not any shampoo and about 20 small bottles of half used conditioner at check in. That said, they got us some shampoo right away when we brought it up. The hot tub seemed to be in good working condition, but as soon as we got in and saw some nasty things floating in the water, we did not use it the rest of the time.We had an issue with the dryer not drying things, which felt problematic since checkout instructions asked for things to be laundered. We let them know and they said they’ll take care of it. There are plenty of towels, so that was nice. We did not use the fire pit area while we were there. There really isn’t any outside seating space, so that could be an area of improvement. Finally, we were in the park one day (terrible cell reception) and got a late text that the owner was going to show the property to a potential buyer. We weren’t informed in advance that this would be a possibility and we’ve never experienced this with any other rentals we’ve done. They later apologized, but especially given the current pandemic, learning that strangers walked through the space with our stuff all about was not cool.

Grizzly cabin was ideal for two families with plenty of sleeping room. The location was perfect for a weekend in Yellowstone and the hot tub was nice after hiking all day!
The cabin was clean and the property manager quickly replied to my questions, great stay overall!

Perfect Place to Stay and Play
The cabin was well appointed and nicely located close the Yellowstone. My family and I spent the weekend playing and seeing the local sites. The hot tub and quiet setting was a welcome retreat at the end of the day. We will be back!

Nice property, but lacking basic items
This was a beautiful property; however, it was missing quite a few basic items that our group would have liked (little toilet paper for a large group first day, hangars in all closets, hooks to hang up wet towels in bathrooms and bedrooms, garbage can in bathroom, coffee mugs, wine opener, wine glasses, tough to grill without the proper grilling utensils (we had to use a plastic tong), no cookie sheets/9x13 pans, and the t.v. in master bedroom was set up, but not working or connected to anything, etc.). Also, it was disappointing that they have a large fire pit in the yard, yet they don't provide any fire wood. We were told that we had to purchase it. All in all, we had a nice time and the place is clean and beautiful, it's just lacking quite a few things that are expected when renting a house for a large group.

Wonderful Retreat
We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. It was about 25-30 minutes to the West Yellowstone park entrance which was great. It was quiet and clean. Hot tub was a added bonus...kids and adults enjoyed it. Plenty of room for our party of 10. Excellent communication from owner. Would definitely recommend!
