Położenie względem centrum miasta, gdzie można było dotrzeć na piechotę.
Mieszkanie nie należało do najczystszych, zwłaszcza w łazience można by dokonać odświeżenia.

Thang is a very nice host, welcoming us very warmly. The appartment is located in the basement and is equipped with everything you need as long as you do not plan to cook at home. You can warm up everything in a microwave or have a cup of tea. The bed is very comfortable. Rental bikes are close by to explore the city.
The living room has no window.

The location was nice and safe.
It was dirty, like it was never cleaned under the bed. Full of cobwebs and the bathroom was still wet. The description says kitchenette but there’s 2 mugs, a microwave and a water boiler. Not even a single plate or bowl to use in the microwave and no cutlery.

Location was good and the apartment matched what was advertised. Everything was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable.
A separate bed sheet in addition to the duvet would be good, and an option for a blanket. The room was too cold to not have blankets but using the heater made the room too hot and stuffy.

It was a great location and within walking distance from all the places we wanted to visit while being in DC
I was disappointed that there was no coffee pot available, also there was only one television and it was located in the bedroom
It would've been nice to relax in the living room and watch TV in there instead of having to lay in bed. But overall the property was decent and had a great stay.
Definitely would consider reserving the property again in the future if I go to DC.

It was easy to check-in.
The host was always very lovely with us.
The basement flat was clean and spacious for us.
Quiet place.
It could be more equipped with cups, for instance.
5.0 / 10.0
Even though the place lacked the elementary kitchen equipment such as utensils or cups (there was nothing to drink from, which we found very odd), the host responded quickly and provided the equipment we asked for.
It is a basement apartment, so it naturally tends to be colder than the rest of the building. We moved in at the beginning of June when it was up to 91 degrees outside. However, at the apartment, it was super cold. The AC is operated by the host. We asked the host to make the place less like a freezer. First, he increased the temperature 2 degrees. However, it was still very cold. My parents had to wear sweaters and the cold kept waking them up in the night. So the next day I asked the host to increase the temperature a bit more. He increased it 1 degree, but it was still very cold. The fan was hitting the bed, so it was really annoying when trying to sleep. The next response was totally unacceptable. He answered that nobody before us complained so he wouldn't make any further changes. The whole night was terrible, we kept waking up every time the AC started to operate. I believe that the host should make effort for the guests to feel comfortable and not find excuses why not to do something. We definitely won't book this place again.

Communication was excellent, the host was amazing. He allowed us to leave our luggage with him before check in, and he even got us dinner. Cozy, quiet basement apt and convenient location.

Great location.
The owners live upstairs and you could hear them walking around and talking. Made us feel like we had little privacy but they never said anything about any noise we made so I guess we were ok.

Great location, even better staff.
Small, lacks a true kitchenette.

the location is pretty good
DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES!!
the property is the basement, not the entrance they show on the pictures it’s dark and kind of scary and with garbage. The place was dirty, with dead bugs on the floor and dust everywhere, the glass table was dirty as well it also smelled bad, so we opened every door and window, but when we closed everything the smell came back.
The basement is full of cabinets full of spiderwebs and mosquitoes.
the kitchenette is a joke, they didn’t had the common sense to turn on the fridge.
The place is not prepared to host 4 people.
8.0 / 10.0
It is a big and comfortable flat equipped with everything.
The entrance to the basement door was a bit creepy at night, there is no lights. But once you are inside, it is cosy.

I liked that it was the least expensive option in DC while still being at a walkable distance from the National Mall or the Capital One Arena, that the beds and the shower were great and we didn't have to turn the sofa into a bed as it was already done.
The fridge was sometimes very loud. The neighborhood was fine but we didn't know about the homeless camp.

I like the place and the location
Nothing i like the property
