Spacious property with ample rooms and facilities, perfect for large families and groups. Great outdoor areas, clean, and well-equipped. Highly recommended!

Thank you we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the facilities you need and ample room for our large group.
Improvements
- Improve the lighting above the BBQ
- Put some rollers on the utensil drawers
- The wood oven doesn't really cut if for a pizza oven. Good for toasting marshmallows though!
Cheers

Four families of our friends circle stayed here and had a great time. So many spaces and a large kitchen dining was amazing. Nothing to worry about security as the guest house is inside the caravan park, they got card activated boom gates. Coming back again..

Great getaway and plenty of space inside and out for a large group. Even when something unforeseen occurred a few days prior to our arrival, steps were taken to address this issue so our stay was not disrupted. Highly recommend.

While in general we had a great stay some general maintenance feedback :
Clean wall behind the toilet door on ground floor - cleaner had obviously only cleaned with door open and not seen mess on wall behind the door.
No tea towels provided which was expected as stated linen provided
Light issues - light in laundry was flickering and ended up shorting the power and was due to light fitting being full of water so safety issue. (Was reported )
A Light globe on dining room light needs changing
Instructions re the specific way to lock the external gate would be beneficial as did not realize the 2 padlocks was 1 for guests and 1 for residents and has to be locked certain way for both able to unlock

Family friendly
We are a large blended family with a diverse age range. This house suited us perfectly. Everyone had a room and their own space to relax. Lots of room for our cars and boat also. We will be back!!

Good location, rooms suitable for a large family.
Grand older style home, needs a few upgrades.

Large comfortable house
Very spacious home with 8 bedrooms. Enough room for all of us!
Lacking basic commodities though. No bin bags, dish washing detergent, tissues, sponges, coffee pods or milk. For a house this size, where 10 or more people are being catered for, these essentials were sadly lacking.
Also, there was no recycling!

Enjoyed our stay
cleanliness could have been better but nothing ground breaking. Gardens could do with some TLC.

Many rooms
Has plenty of rooms and very reasonably priced, perfect for the 16 of us.. 4 families. The kids loved the huge trampoline in the backyard. However, the rooms on the bottom are not sound proof, can clearly hear people walking and talking from upstairs. Communication was excellent with the owner, always responded promptly. The floors and carpets to me are very filthy and the dishes and coffee machine need a good wash before you can use them. Overall, it’s not a bad house which can accommodate so many people at a good price.

Great weekend
The house was perfect for a large family. It was well designed with family areas and private areas and had plenty of facilities. The family enjoyed the private outdoor facilities. Close to town, beaches and parks and access to major arterial roads to the South West. We will be coming back again

The house itself was large. It had more than enough room for all of us., great!! The mattresses, crockery and cutlery, and TV were obviously fairly new and of good quality. Staff, the two we had dealings with (receptionist and handyman), were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that's about it. The home was dirty, very dirty. A thorough spring clean would have benefited the home immensely. Carpets needed to be vacuumed, which we did upon arrival after having to undo and clean out the vacuum cleaner which had been put together wrong. Items found under beds from previous tenants. Carpets looked like they hadn't been professionally cleaned since they were laid maybe 12 or so years ago. Windows were dirty and cobwebs everywhere. Couldn't open the balcony doors as there were several wasp nests and it was full of cobwebs. Lint filter in clothes dryer at least 5cms thick (fire hazard), washing machine full of beach sand. Downstairs toilet had bad urine smell. Showers in main bathroom and downstairs didn't look very clean (mould). We arrived Sunday afternoon, after dinner loaded dishwasher and as it wasn't a full load added breakfast dishes next morning. Put dishwasher on and went out for the day on returning that evening, went to unload dishwasher only to find that it hadn't worked. We rang maintenance but as it was late and the next day was Australia Day (fair enough, no problem) wasn't able to be fixed till Wednesday. Had to unload dishes and wash by hand. Not that we don't know how to do that but after a lovely day out and dinner out, it was a bit disappointing to have to. It was also difficult to cook for ten people on a pretty much useless two burner stovetop. Had to use two pots to cook pasta for us (no large pot available) which took about 35-40minutes. The oven wasn't clean either. The rubbish bins outside the gate were mostly full when we arrived and had not been emptied during our stay. Didn't have an issue with the dated fixtures, we'd stayed in much older homes before, but they were clean. Would have been nice to be able to sit out on the balcony and take in the beautiful view of the river. We won't be staying there again, (not good value for the price) certainly wouldn't recommend to other family or friends as I'd be too embarressed. Also won't be booking through Stayz again as I now don't trust their website with descriptions or photos of properties listed. PS: Have photos of house if you're interested in seeing them.

Great spot with plenty of space

Big house stay
it was a smooth process and a beautiful house. Only big down fall was the cleanliness. The oven was atrocious, the floors where very dirty. Not enough toilet paper or towels. No gas for the BBQ.
I hate to sounds negative so ill finish off on a positive. The lounge room is much bigger than i thought. I think the owner needs to add to advertising that there is a trampoline, basket ball hoop and sooo many board games. Its absolutely great, it's also good having them spare beds that you can move anywhere aswell as the porta cot. The back entertainment area is massive.
Thankyou

Great house
Awesome house for a big group. Fit 16 of us comfortably and we all had our own space. The photos don’t do the house justice, it’s much bigger than it appears and has a large lounge room with 4 bedrooms downstairs and 4 upstairs. Thanks for a great stay Robert!

The property was very clean and spacious, though we did find the indoor lighting quite dim, probably due to the cloudy conditions outside!
