Our 50 acre working farm with cows, pigs, goats, and chickens hosts 2 accommodations, a cabin and a farmhouse. You can rent one or both. Both offer on site fishing, row boating, hiking trails, campfires, outdoor grills, children's play structures, indoor and outdoor games, self-guided farm tours.
Farm cabin with 2 bedrooms, 1 sleeping loft, and 1 bathroom, with a total of 5 beds (2 queens and 3 twin beds). We are 5 miles from Lake Palestine, a 25,000 acre lake, for boating and fishing. And only 7 miles from Tyler for visiting the zoo, movies, museums, dining and shopping.
Come and relax from your daily routines. Our cabin has an outdoor fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs with family and friends. The country sky is clear and full of stars. Cabin is stocked with board games, books, and toys for children. Also this cabin is located on a 50 acre working farm with cows, pigs, sheep, goat, and chickens. Onsite Recreation.

The maximum occupancy is 5 guests at any one time. If you have more than the maximum occupancy, your booking may be terminated and no refund given.

We have a very friendly Great Pyrenees farm dogs, whose job is to protect the farm animals.
The base price includes 5 guests. Any extra guests on the premises are charged at $20 per day no matter how brief their stay may be. The total amount of guests that the cabin can accommodate is 5.
We do charge an early check in fee of $30 if you need to check in before 4:00 pm.
We also charge a late check out fee of $20 each hour after 11:00 am.

2 Fishing Poles and tackle box rental $25 for your whole stay.
$10 for firewood bundle with approx. 16 pieces.

There were four of us that stayed at the farm And we all agreed that this was a wonderful experience. It was so nice to wake up and walk out onto the front porch to listen to the world waking up. Very nice and secluded. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the farm and the garden
which was actually a highlight of the stay for me.
We did walk the nature trails and enjoyed that very much also. Highly recommend this place for anybody staying in the area

This cabin has everything you need! My boyfriend and I took a quick trip to get out of the city and this place was so charming! We grilled, and a cute farm dog came up and hung out with us almost the whole night, which was quite the bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and only wish it was a little longer so we could check everything out!

Had to put together once last trip before school started and Al no was given was, a cabin on the woods, hiking trails, have to see animals, and be close to swimming. This property checked every box! Enjoyed the space, the quite, while still being only about 20 minutes to Tyler. We got to know Ray and Jannette and hope to see them again. Stay with confidence, treat the place with respect and you will be treated very well. The economics of the place are that it cost less than a decent hotel room. Leave the porch light on if you are getting back after dark. It makes it easier to find.

Enjoyed a short one-night stay at this property and really enjoyed the opportunities to walk the trails and for my son to catch some catfish. We had a failed attempt at starting a fire I presume because of wet wood from recent rains but would have really enjoyed the firepit otherwise. As noted in the listing, the only bathroom is downstairs and all beds are upstairs, so just be sure you are ok with that arrangement. Beds seemed to range in comfort but were suitable for our needs. Was great to enjoy some fresh air and time outside.

Lots to do for kids, hiked the property which is nice to be able to do outside your front door. Pls. note that the one bathroom is downstairs while bedrooms are up which could be an issue for some. Also note it is AC window units, so if sound bothers you at night, that might be an issue. Otherwise. everything was great, plenty of room, easy to find, The Gomez' were very quick to respond to some wasps on the porch and i had her cell so that was super helpful.

Perfect for all ages!
The property owners made everything so seemless and easy! Very friendly, great communication, and amazingly fast response time to requests. Anything extra wanted or needed was delivered within minutes! Parker, the dog, was an added bonus. He was very loving and friendly:)
The cabin was a little warm upon arrival and could probably use a dehumidifier. But, it's Texas and can't expect anyone to want to use up electric trying to cool down a place not in use at the time. The additional amenities made our stay perfect for all ages. We were traveling with a 17, 13, and 6 year old. So, it's not always easy to find a property that checks all the boxes for entertainment. They loved the swing set, trails, corn hole and fishing :)

The four of us ladies had a wonderful time at their farm. It’s exactly as listed but better! It’s quite peaceful and the farm animals were a bonus. We enjoyed Parker (one of their sweet dogs) greeting us at our door. If you need a relaxing getaway this is the place to be!

A Delightful Getaway
This trip was WONDERFUL. We checked in late but the self check-in worked perfectly. The property was extremely clean without being uncomfortably so. The pond was very relaxing. The goats were friendly and cute, they even had harnesses so next time, maybe I'll take one for a walk. The property had everything we needed (except a mat in the shower-it was a bit slippery so a mat and a grab bar would have been nice for this old man). I would highly recommend this place and the owners. In fact, we will probably return ourselves.

Girls weekend
Girls trip to Canton. Rental was just as listed with plenty of sleeping spaces, clean, and well stocked. The location was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Tyler for dinner and shopping. It took us less than 30 minutes to drive to Canton. Owners dogs are really friendly, there is a firepit, walking trails and plenty of outdoor sitting. Bedrooms are upstairs so make sure that is not an issue. We didn’t mind.

Wonderful cabin for our family
The Gomez's property made for a magical weekend! We enjoyed fishing, walking the trails, seeing the animals, petting Parker (the friendly dog) and Emma (the agreeable goat), and the cozy cabin! My children were so sad when it was time to leave. In fact, since we have been home my daughter has had two dreams of being "back at the cabin". It was a perfect family get-away.
