Our stay at the Rooms at Woody Point was really laid back. Our room was #5 and was very clean. It has a well stocked kitchenette. The rain shower was great and they have in-floor heating in the shower room! The view from our king room was stunning of the Gros Morne National park, Tableland Mountains and Bonne Bay. Such a magnificent view! The king bed was very comfortable with the best pillows. You can order breakfast the night before and Helen or Donna will bring it to your room the night before, so you can have it in the morning. You’ll have a choice of 5. The Pizza on the Porch is more than just pizza. It is a gastronomy of flavours from different cultures. There’s a 4 course meal that starts off with a local appetizer, we had the shredded Rabbit confit, ginger carrot soup, salad with herbs from her garden and of course pizza. We had the Giovanni and my favourite the French Shore pizza. We finish with a chocolate pudding. Oh so good!! Great big shout out to Helen for making everything clean and comfortable and to our incredible owner/chef and host, Donna! If you’re ever in the area and need a place to stay we highly recommend the Rooms at Woody Point! Not only for the room and view but the food as well!

Clean, comfortable accommodation with great view and in great location.

The Rooms at Woody Point is in a great location for getting to the local sights, restaurants, and convenience stores. Woody Point is a small community so there are few restaurants. I recommend taking advantage of the breakfast provided by The Rooms - it's convenient and there are several good breakfast choices. Our room was very comfortable - good bed, comfortable chairs in the room and on the porch, nice kitchenette. The room was super clean. Bedding and towels of good quality and great attention to the details that make it nice for travelers. We had a wonderful view of Bonne Bay which made the room extra nice. Donna was a pleasure to meet and helped us with any questions we had.

Would be nice to have some privacy on the front porch, but not sure it's possible to add this without limiting the gorgeous view.

Great place to stay! Very comfortable accommodation

Room was spacious, very well designed, comfortable bed, clean, great view with very nice deck. Far prefer Woody Point to Rocky Harbour. Not as touristy. Still has some good restaurants and a nice pub, and is close to some great hiking.

Lovely place just minutes from Gros Morne discovery centre. Very quaint, comfortable and quiet.

Heart of stunning Woody Point town: accommodation that is welcoming, comfortable, clean and stylish

Such a great accommodation in one of the most stunningly beautiful places - Woody Point! The Rooms takes advantage of the scenery with a beautiful views and seats both inside and outside to enjoy nature and the view over the Village. Walking distance to the pubs and restaurants and spacious, comfortable and clean room with space to relax, make a simple meal and enjoy.

It was a great stay - no complaints!

Welcoming staff, stunning views, spacious beautiful rooms with kitchenette and comfy lounge chairs.

Beautiful, spacious and stylish rooms overlooking the stunning scenery. We saw whales from our viewpoint and enjoyed the sunshine on our porch. The bed is quite soft and comfortable. Walk-in shower and small kitchenette and two comfy chairs to enjoy the big room and the view. Staff are lovely and accommodating to make our stay wonderful. They provided extra coffee and arranged for us to get the same lovely room on the way back. Overall an excellent stay.

Bed is on the softer side which may be some people's preference. Otherwise a great stay and we'll return!

You gotta stay here...

Comfortable, modern country feel. We booked with little notice and our host was quick to ensure we had a clean stay. Highly recommend going out of your way to stay here.

That we had to leave after one night due to our travel schedule. We would have loved to stay longer.

Amazing.

Breakfast came to our room in a box and was absolutely delicious, including the gluten-free bread! Beds and bedding were top notch. The whole place was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The view Of Gros Morne park was spectacular!

Because of the time of year we traveled (October), there was only one restaurant open in town. It was good but variety would have been nice.

Perfect choice for visitors to Gros Morne

Donna the owner built a five star facility in a rustic upscale town at Gros Morne National Park. Our room was so comfy we didn’t want to venture out. The bed rivals any of those in the best hotels. And hard to believe she installed heated floors for the bathroom. For a little extra she will prepare you a delicious and filling breakfast or lunch for your hikes at the park. Highly recommend this top notch facility for visitors to Gros Morne National Park.

Fantastic stay in Woody Point!

Fantastic stay at The Rooms ! My partner and I were exploring the west coast for the first time and we’re thrilled with our room. The bed was beyond comfortable, well stocked, and the perfect getaway. We would definitely stay again and actually wish we stayed two nights. If you’re planning to hit up Gros Mourne, there is a water taxi down the street that will bring you right to Norris Point !
