1920’s Country Cottage. Whether seeking picture postcard sunrise or moonlight dancing across the water, this cozy & economical Westside Seneca Lake getaway will create memories for years to come. Accommodating up to 4, includes one oversized bedroom with two queen beds and a queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Fully equipped, hand crafted pine paneling, refrigerator, gas stove, microwave oven, washer, dryer and kerosene heat for winter getaways and features large windows, Dutch door, screened-in porch, level grassy lot, firepit& lakeside lot w/dock. Walking distance to two local restaurants -Showboat Restaurant in one direction and Rainbow Cove in the other. Close driving proximity to marinas, restaurants,Watkins Glen State Park, Corning Museum of Glass, Glenn H. Curtiss Aviation Museum and regional sightseeing. Limitless antiquing, country drives, quaint villages, world renowned wine trails and lazy days. Cable TV is included, Cell phone recommended, Free WiFi access.

Great place and has everything you need. If there was rain we just enjoyed the screened porch or hung out under the gazebo. Beds were comfortable and this place is just right for a couple looking for a getaway. The bald eagles nest behind the cottage was a bonus and south Plum Point Road offered amazing views of the lake, flowers birds and wildlife. We would definitely stay again. ❤️

Had a wonderful time during our stay! Lovely view, so nice to enjoy the lake being so close. Loved the dock, spent most of our time there, and the beautiful fire pit! Accomodations were wonderful, owner provided everything you could need! Would stay again for sure!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay here, especially the screened-in porch!! Loved the lighthouse too!! The only thing concerning was the “funky-smelling” water from the faucets and shower.

Talk about exceptional, this cottage is where you want to stay! Great location, access to the Lake, restaurant nearby, and perfectly comfortable. Stepping into the cottage the first time was like being at home. Everything is there for your use, everything easy to find, just enjoyable! I highly recommend to everyone to rent this super facility for your personal enjoyment! ,

The purrfect place to relax and explore the area. Greatly appreciated host allowing our beloved cat to join the trip! The cottage was very clean and fully equipped with anything you needed, cooking or playing games. The screened porch kept the bugs out and fresh air flowing - we all enjoyed the porch, w/lake views, and watched sunrise one morning. Although it rained during our trip, the outdoor area is something we would have used, with firepit and comfortable seating with spectacular views. Nice garden areas to explore which felt very private. Wonderful and communicative host answered all our questions. She made us feel at home and we respected the history and love found in this charming family cottage. Well water tasted very good. Nice hot showers. Full size washer/dryer. Everything (and more) that you will find in other rentals. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We hope to return again! Thank you for hosting us!!

Beautiful sunrises, peaceful and very quiet. Walking distance to a restaurant and in the heart of wine country. Great enclosed front porch to have coffee and tea. As you can tell, it was very refreshing and wonderful!

It was a perfect location with an amazing view of the lake. Can't beat it when you're on the waterfront! We had a great time and would definitely come back again. Being right on the middle lake made it easy to get to Watkins Glen at the south side or Geneva at the north side. Right in the midst of everything. Kathy and Ann Marie, thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great cottage with a fantastic view. Clean and well equipped. The only thing I would suggest is the access be improved. The door key pad did not function and the back up access to the key was a challenge as well.

Loved, loved, loved our stay at Cotter Cove! Sweet traditional Seneca lake house with lovely yard, dock and everything you need inside and more. Cozy, comfortable and clean. Great communication with owner . We will definitely be back!

We loved this quaint old time cottage and had a wonderful time sitting on the screened in porch, around the fire pit or on the dock while our dog Keeva had fun fetching her ball in the water. Visited many wineries, most of with were dog friendly. Enjoyed a sail on the Schooner True Love and ate several times at the Showboat Restaurant just a few steps down the street. Thanks Kathy for sharing your cottage with us. We will be back!!

We love this property! The location was fantastic for us and our family. Will do again in a heart beat! Barely missed the dock that was being rebuilt. I will have to take a little walk on it when we are back down just to get my fill of it since we couldn't when we were there. I would buy this property if she would let me!

I have traveled the world. My husband and I are looking for the most relaxing community on waterfront to enjoy. WE FOUND IT! Seneca Lake offered everything we have wanted and dreamed of. Her Cottage was full of childhood memories and showed how over the years they added on with laughs, picnics, and additions to the family and the cottage. It gave us both an opportunity to immerse ourselves into the LOVE this family has for each other and this beautiful home. Mike and I left feeling as this was our home, you will too! The cottage was perfect for our much needed vacation. I can only say as simply as this if you dont stay here YOU are making a MISTAKE, beyond all are expectations. Thank You Kathy and Family

This is an amazing property that is nothing but relaxing. We were looking for a place a short drive from Rochester for a getaway and this delivered. Kathy is a great hostess. The pictures don't show exactly how large the bedroom is. Since we only stayed a couple nights, we opted to bring an air mattress, so that we didn't have to wash the bedding. A queen size mattress fits between the beds with plenty of room for a large dog crate in the room as well. Everything was well maintained and accommodating. Great time even though my kids tell me that I need to learn how to make a fire because we did end up making our s'mores in the microwave due to my incompetence ;). We had such a great experience that we have already booked another stay for next summer. Thanks for helping us make a great family trip (that included the dog!)

If you're looking for an astounding view of one of the lakes this is a great choice! The property is minutes away from a lot of great wineries and vineyards. It's also close to a couple small towns/villages that are fun to explore. The property was fairly clean and had a lot of things to do around it. We will definitely be returning in years to come if available.
