The house was lovely and was a great jumping off point for our adventures on the Big Island.
Cleanliness upon arrival was a little sub-par but nothing detrimental. We ran into a couple minor maintenance or facility issues but they were generally resolved by support.

Clean property and in a good location for being at one with nature and exploring the volcano national park.
The property is not advertised properly. The bedroom is completely separate from the living and bathroom, you have to go outside and down the stairs to access it via a separate locked door. We were traveling with our infant so this was a major issue for us and we were unable to use the bedroom and had to sleep on the sofa (which is incredibly uncomfortable) as we couldn't be in a separate space from our 11mth old. For the price and convenience if I had known this I would have stayed in a hotel.
They also have no cable TV and slow internet so while they have Netflix ect it constantly stops and buffers.

We did not have upon arrival. We had to call Vacasa multiple times to get someone to bring containers of water. Therefore, no shower, unclean dishes and no toilet service. The bedding smelled like mildew and mold. There was visible mold and a broken stair.. We had limited firewood. The posted pictures were deceptive-the outside tub did not work and the bedroom is located separately from the living quarters with no heat. The pictured was not allowed use by the owners due to lack of propane. I would not recommend i this place to my worst enemy and not to mention rude housekeeper who pestered is to leave at the exact checkout time.

Everything is great: location, weather, house, nature! There is a bird singing at night and all the area around is dark and like as Hollywood horror movie scene :))))))) . Garden is great, crowded by plants. You have to spend a couple of days, but not alone!
