Property is perfect for stays where you will be out most of the day. If you need to disconnect, there is no WiFi. Well-maintained. The owners live next door and are over to check-in frequently. A/C works great.

Stayed here for a few nights on a smallmouth trip. Super close to the North East marina, some good pubs around to eat in and the property is perfect for boaters. Allen came over to greet us and show us where we could hookup boats for charging overnight. Super helpful people. We will definitely be back !

We had an awesome time staying here while we bowled in Erie for the state tournament! The place was super clean, all the furniture was comfy, and it was kind of cool that the train was right near by us!

We loved this rental! We have stayed in a lot of rentals and hotels over the years and this was probably the cleanest we’ve ever seen. The hosts have thought of every detail. The area was so serene and peaceful – I could sit on that porch for hours. We will be returning.

Host was as amazing as the rental property. It was evident that a lot of time and effort were put in to making this rental as close to “home” as possible. The home was clean and offered many conveniences not found elsewhere…very thoughtful conveniences that included our four legged family. It was a super fast, busy weekend, but I can’t wait to rent this property and do it again! A huge shoutout and thank you to the wonderful homeowners!

Very nice, felt very private. Short drive to the main road. And a not so long drive to Erie. Close to the water. And a nice area.

3 rd stay here and once again it was a great stay! One morning the grapes were being harvested and the smell of the grapes was amazing! Great location, great hosting by Marie and Alan

This was not our first stay here and likely won't be our last! Marie and Alan make everything a breeze and their place is the perfect getaway. Everything is stocked with essentials / things you may need and the location is perfect. Lots to check out in North East and the surrounding area. Downtown Erie is also just a short drive away with lots to offer as well.

We are repeat visitors to this property and continue to come back because it is very clean, has everything we need, and the owners are so nice and do a great job at communicating with us before and during our stay.

We flew in from FL for a wedding near the location of the VRBO. I was pleasantly surprised with all the amenities of the property. The owners definitely take care of this cozy country haven and understand what is needed for hosting a family. They even stocked us with coffee, spring water, plenty of toiletries and the kitchen had everything needed to cook up wonderful dinners. We didn't use the grill, but there was one provided off a cute porch. The queen mattress was super comfy. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend staying here. The morning we left, we found a cute diner right down the road with the best biscuits and gravy! Thank you for having us!!!

Just bring ur clothes, every need is met. Right in middle of all the wineries and near the lake for looking beach glass or fishing. Two train tracks near by, just don't forget your ear plugs. Marie makes up for it by providing everything you need, lovely home at a great price.

We had a great stay, as always! It started out a little cool & rainy, we made the most of it by hitting the wineries, farmers markets & local shops in downtown North East. Once the sun came out, we went to the natural beaches & drove to the beaches at Presque Isle. We had family staying nearby & the VRBO owner graciously let them come over to play Cornhole & have a bonfire. Such a beautiful area, this is a super clean & relaxing location, Marie & Alan provide everything you need for a worry free stay, we'll definitely return next year!

We love going to Erie every year, and we rent this same place each time. The hosts are very friendy. The property is alway beautifully maintained. The best rental we have stayed at by far. And they dont hesitate to rent to us with 5 dogs, Which is almost unheard-of. As dog owners who pride ourselves on having well behaved dogs we are very thankful for renters like these!

We had a short stay visiting family. Marie and Alan’s place was very cute and cozy with a huge yard for the kids to run around and play in. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. It is located right next to the train tracks where trains come through at all hours of the day and night, which we did not mind at all, but it might be difficult if you are a light sleeper. We enjoyed our stay in their home and will definitely be repeat guests!

We thank the Dingfelders for their hospitality. The cottage was very clean, nicely appointed with comfortable furnishings, and stocked with kitchenware, appliances, etc. -- pretty much everything one might need and more. The cottage is privately situated, protected by mature trees, including beautiful big spruces. The Dingfelders were easy to work with, and respected our privacy. The cottage was perfect for our needs, and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here to visit family over Christmas. They were great about keeping the drive plowed and helped by communicating the local weather as we were determining if we could safely make the drive. The house was clean, well cared for, and worked well for our family of 5 and dog. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time. We were very surprised at all the extra care and concern provided. We had our grandson over and something so small as having checkers was a wonderful treat. We will refer to others and will be renting the property again. Thank you very much!!!

We were traveling to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday and it couldn’t have worked out better. There were five adults, one infant and our old dog. We found the house to have plenty of space, it was clean, had everything you needed and the owners were wonderful about answering questions right away. We look forward to returning in the spring or summer and also taking advantage of the nice outdoor seating area and yard. Thank you for a wonderful stay
