Are you looking for the perfect vacation for you and your family that offers an abundance of activities? If so, look no further! Our guest reviews speak volumes. We are located just 3 miles from the West Entrance of Glacier National Park, 25 minutes from Glacier International Airport (FCA airport code, and we offer personal shuttle service to and from the airport), just 25 minutes from Whitefish, and just 2 miles from the North and Middle Fork rivers. Our family lakefront home is located a few steps from the water and offers great fishing right off of our private dock. The lake is warm, clean, and clear and is perfect for enjoying an afternoon swim. We provide top quality bedding, linens, and towels. If you like to cook, you would be hard pressed to find a gadget that we don't have. It also offers a canoe, 2 man kayak, 3 paddleboards, 2 mountain bikes, spin fishing poles, fly fishing rods, backpacks, and ice chests. Local activities include hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, ziplining, helicopter tours, horseback riding, rafting, boat tours and rentals, and ATV rentals all of which are just minutes away.

The dock are spectacular. Home is located just minutes from Apgar Visitor center. As with older homes, a few oddities (like unexpected steps , low ceiling entering some kitchen eating area and low shower heads) but the place is well maintained and charming. Would absolutely go again!

We had a great time on our trip and this property was the perfect place for us to stay. it really added to our experience of being in Montana and Glacier National Park. it provided us with lots of space and a secluded place to stay. The lake was warm and was a great place for us to start our days and be able to unwind in the evening.

We had a great time staying at the home on Lake Five. We fished and caught our fair share of trout and walleye. Kayaking and canoeing were fun for all of us. Best of all Glacier NP was a short 8 minute drive. Even though the weather was wet and wild for the first day and evening, there is still much to do and see in the park. A great time had by all !!!

We were greeted by our hosts upon our arrival and immediately felt welcomed. We were provided a tour of the property and house with encouragement to contact the hosts if we needed anything at all.
Our family of 5 settled in quickly and found the home charming and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, ample supply of towels were available, and a everything you would need in the well outfitted kitchen. Besides the kitchen, there was a grill and griddle provided that was also put to good use.
Being only minutes from the West entrance of Glacier National Park was very convenient. The hosts had coolers, umbrellas, walking sticks and bear spray available if needed. When not at the park, we were able to enjoy canoeing on the beautiful lake.
We all agreed we would love to return to this beautiful spot.

The property owners manage the home, and do a great job with communication. We loved the deck on the water and even had a moose swim by! The house is only a few minutes from the West Entrance of GNP.

This is an amazing house fully equipped with canoe, kayak, paddle board, life jackets, fishing rods, backpacks, picnic chairs, Bear spay - anything you need for hiking, enjoying the lake and fishing. Our teenage boys loved the lake. Glacier National Park West Entrance is 5 min. Kitchen is well stocked. Truly a home away from home!

Historic home on Lake Five well maintained by owners. Functional kitchen with nice cookware and spices, large living room and master suite. Well stocked with outdoor gear and guides. Beautiful yard, deck and dock. Canoe, kayak and fishing poles were much appreciated. Hosts were wonderful. Will return.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property. The proximity to Glacier National Park was important, but it also was a site anyone would enjoy spending time at. Jette and Bill were gracious and helpful hosts who shared lots of tips and local info.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house for our family vacation. Communication with Jette was amazing. Everything you need is there for you to use! Backpacks, water bottles, fishing gear, canoe, SUPB, kayak, maps, maps, and maps!! Not having AC was not an issue at all since Jette showed us which windows to open at night and close in the morning so the house stays nice and cool. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen is there. Being on the lake was amazing And only a 5 min drive to the West Entrance to GNP. I’ll be back!!

Beautiful house on the lake! The deck and dock are amazing. We loved the kayaking, paddle boarding and canoe for fishing. Minutes from West Glacier Entrance. The house had everything you could need, except air conditioning! We knew that going in and weren’t worried, but we stayed during a very warm week. Sleeping in the house at night was very uncomfortable! Bill and Jette were very nice and obviously take great pride in there home. They greeted us on arrival and even texted to ask if we were lost when we didn’t arrive by 4:00. It was a little strange when they came to water during our stay; however, they did ask us what time was most convenient. We were unclear as to whether they would be going inside the house while our belongings were there?? Overall, a good stay and would recommend.

On a beautiful little lake. House was very clean and owners were very easy to reach and helpful. Kitchen was very well equiped with everything needed. Had just about every kitchen pot and pan and kitchen tool we would ever need. A kayak anc canoe were there for us to use. Comfortable beds. This house was perfect for our week stay with 3 couples. Very happy with this rental!

We had a wonderful stay at this location. So close to the park with a wonderful lake to enjoy boating on. It was peaceful, beautiful and provided us with absolutely everything we needed!!

The property is beautiful and offers a great amount of privacy. The owners are great at communication and want you to have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Ask before buy or pack anything! We were surprised by how much they had - bear spray, coolers, water bottles, paper plates, anything that you could need in the kitchen.

Had a wonderful time in West Glacier! Bill and Jette are very sweet hosts. Their house is very cozy and has all the furnishings you need for your stay. Spend time relaxing on the dock, paddling in the kayak/canoe/paddle board, or swimming in the lake while taking in the breath taking views!

Incredible Hosts!
This place is a hidden gem. Literally! It's a bit hard to find the first time you drive here. But once you find it, you'll love it. The house is secluded and has private lake access. We ate dinner on the lake deck every night. It's very quiet and private... except for the others that are enjoying the lake (boating, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.).
But what was even better than the property, were the hosts. Jette and Bill greeted us when we arrived and gave us a full tour of the house, facilities and recommendations during our stay. They didn't bug us while we stayed there, but gave us their direct contact information in case we had any questions. When we left, they came out to ensure we had a good trip and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. We loved staying here and would come back again.

Beautiful!
The setting and location can't be beat if you have plans in the West part of Glacier! The home was well stocked with nearly everything you could want! The grounds and gardens were lovely as well! We really enjoyed our stay and have very few minor things we would change. It was tough not having strong cell and internet service for consistent communicating with Bill and Jette. But they did check in with us every few days or so which was nice. Including buying and delivering a coffeemaker! Most homes we have rented have things like tin foil and saran wrap- they didn't- but that was something we could easily get in town. The ice maker also didn't work in the fridge- but there were plenty of places to purchase ice also. We also had a major car breakdown while we were there and had to rent a car so 6 people could get around Glacier. Bill and Jette were gracious during that frustrating situation. (we weren't even sure we'd make it home to Minnesota!!). So again- mostly amazingly positive experience and stay!

Beautiful lake front home
Cozy home with beautiful views and deck right on the lake. Five minutes from the park was super convenient. Loved taking out the canoe and having meals on the deck. Saw a black bear walk right by!

Delightful stay at Lake 5
The property is incredibly well located. It sits on a beautiful piece of land directly on Lake Five. It is incredibly close to the West Glacier entrance. The exterior property is lovely, and the interior is warm, hospitable as well as functional.
The owners are very welcoming. They do love their beautiful home, and sometimes we felt a bit encumbered by their watchful eye. The only amenity that we truly missed was a dishwasher. Especially because of COVID, we cooked all the time rather than dining out. Cleaning dishes by hand for 6 people got a bit tedious.

This was a great house for seeing Glacier National Park. It is very close to the west gate allowing us to come and go easily. Nice to relax on the lake during non park time.

Glacier NP trip
Overall our experience was wonderful. The house being on a lake and having access to kayak and canoes was wonderful. House was equipped with everything you could need ( even coffee, trash bags and paper towels.
I would have like to know ahead of time that you had bear spray because we purchased some before we arrived and that the house was not air conditioned. There were a few nights it took awhile for the house to cool down. It is obvious the owners take great pride in the house which is wonderful but we also felt their presence of being on property while we we there with the sprinkler and well we saw them. I just have never seen the owners or knew they were on the property as much as I did with this VRBO. Not necessarily a bad thing but would have liked to know that you would be returning to the property.

Absolutely amazing!
It was me, my husband and 2 sons (19, 22). The house has a modern log cabin feel. It was very clean, ideally located on a beautiful lake and close to Glacier National Park . It had EVERY amenity that you would want and more. You could tell that the owner put every effort in to make it special. This was one of the best trips that we have ever been on.

West Glacier lake house
My family has stayed many different places through VRBO and overall have had great experiences, but this by far was our favorite. The location is perfect for visiting Glacier NP. The setting on the lake is beautiful. Everything you need Jette has right there in her home. This includes a well equipped kitchen, outdoor gear, and comfortable bedrooms and living space. I loved her garden! The whole place feels like home

Paradise by any other name
An extraordinarily comfortable holiday retreat. Delightfully appointed. Very spacious. A kitchen full of earthly and otherworldly delights. The surroundings are heavenly... on the morning we left we had a doe and fawn walk through the garden feasting on flowers. We loved canoeing and paddle boarding on the lake. If only we'd had more than 3 days.

Home away from home
Jette and Bill are folks you'd want for friends. I booked this home one year in advance for my husbands surprise birthday. We had so much fun. The kids came to visit over the 2 weeks. We had all the conveniences of home and much more. They have a kayak, canoe, paddle boards, fishing poles, life vests, back packs, walking sticks, fold up camp chairs, umbrellas, binoculars, gourmet kitchen, beautiful dock with table and chairs, patio furniture, bear and bug spray.
Having a washer and dryer helps, so don't need to bring a bunch of clothes. Just pack to dress in comfortable layered clothing.
The location of the house is perfect. You can get to Glacier Park, Hungry Horse Reservoir, Whitefish Lake & Lodge, Kalispell, Flathead Reservoir and Swan Lake all within an hour drive or less in any direction.
The beds are so comfortable. Everyone commented on how great they slept and loved the beds. The furniture in the living room is huge leather sofa, love seat and chair. So comfortable. Lots of pillows and lap blankets.
The yard is full of beautiful flowers. It is obvious Jette has a green thumb. There was a deer and baby who would come by and visit. So cute.
There was a couple times we needed help with something and they would answer the phone and be right there to help. Nothing serious, but it's nice to know they are available right away.
We plan on going again. We fell in love with Montana and their home. There are so many places we missed. Two weeks was not enough time. I highly recommend this home. It's very nice.

What a beautiful place for a family vacation. It was an immaculately kept home with all immunities. We especially enjoyed kayaking/canoeing the lake.
