The Homestead was perfect for our family stay in Montana. The home is beautiful with great views of the mountains. Wildlife spotting off the balcony was was amazing.
Derek was an awesome and responsive host.

We had an incredible visit and the home we stayed in was a big part of our enjoyment. Derek was fantastic communication wise from the minute we booked the stay until after check out, making sure we enjoyed our stay and were happy along the way. The property was clean and common space was nice and open. Ping pong in the garage was also a highlight. The only thing we would note to groups looking to stay here is that one of the bedrooms cannot be accessed without going through the primary bedroom which compromised privacy for couples staying in both of those rooms. Also, bunk room does not have door so it is not private either. This would be a fantastic place for a large family to stay or couples needing 4 private spaces or less. We will 100% book another property with Derek for future trips and recommend booking for your next Whitefish adventure.

Two families stayed here and we all fit perfectly
Kids enjoyed the hot tub and we also used grill to be able to hang out at the place. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vrbo. Derek was very helpful during our stay. The townhouse was nicely appointed with everything from comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and nice bath towels. The location/proximity to skiing was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

If there were more than five stars i would give this property a higher rating. Everything about it was absolutely amazing! It was squeaky clean, spacious and well appointed and nestled in a quiet little community. I got up to watch the sunrise each morning and the views from the back deck were stunning. When we returned from long hikes at Glacier national park each day, the hot tub was a wonderful place to refresh our weary legs. My family of 10 adults was more than comfortable in the space and we cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. An added bonus was that each evening several doe and their fawns would play where we could easily see them from the back deck. It was the sweetest kind of entertainment. Another surprise bonus was the cherries we purchased along Flathead lake on the drive up from Missoula. By far the Best cherries I’ve ever eaten!
Derek was a top notch host - it was obvious from the beginning that he truly cared about our family having a good experience in his home and in the area. He made awesome suggestions about what to do in Whitefish and helped the fly fishermen in my family scout out the best fishing holes. If you’re considering this home for your trip to Whitefish or Glacier you will not be disappointed! Book it!!!!!!

We all really enjoyed our stay in Whitefish and surrounding areas. This place has nice space for sleeping and the kitchen is well stocked and an easy place to gather. The hot tub on the deck was a fun addition. The decks a little small for all of us but that’s the only drawback. Derek was a great host and checked in with us several times to make sure everything was good.

Fantastic location with ample and extra space for our group of 10. Easy access to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Beautiful home with beautiful views.

Great place to stay. The views are breathtaking. Derek took great care of us.

The Homestead accommodations were perfect for our family of 14 stay in Whitefish. We enjoyed the Glacier Mountain views as well as wildlife from the deck and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked including a much needed crock pot and waffle iron to feed the crowd. After our daily adventures, we slept well in the beds with nice soft linens. Great week. Fun was had by all.

Awesome place. Clean, spacious and beds very comfortable. Amount of beds/bedrooms was a bit confusing on the app but Derek cleared up any confusion. Super close to the nearby mountain and downtown whitefish. Derek was attentive and very keen on resolving any issues(there were essentially none). Such a cool area, definitely want to come back in the winter.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Wood Run house. The house was absolutely beautiful and the layout was great for ten adults (three couples and four singles). There is a full bedroom attached (walk through from) to the master suite which was not used, but it would be useful for someone with kids.
It is SO easy to ski in/ski out (a very, very short walk to the trail) which is huge convenience since there is no driving involved to get on the slopes. It made going back for lunch super easy!
House was well-stocked and had everything we needed for the nights we cooked at home. The hot tub on the deck after a long day of skiing was the icing on the cake.
Derek was super responsive to my (many!) questions and got back to me right away when I needed something answered.
We would definitely stay here again! It was perfect!

We loved this place. The house is very nice and seemed new. We had a total of 12 people and slept comfortably with some empty beds. The ski in/ski out option was super easy. 75 yard, flat walk to Home Again run. When there is snow on the road, you can ski all the way to the garage. Home Again is accessible from all the major lifts, so this was a very convenient ski in/ski out location. Wood burning fireplace was a definite plus.

The property was well represented online. Everything was clean and well stocked. Beautiful view from the balcony hot tub. Plenty of room for the 12 of us that stayed with room for more. Easy access to ski trail and a 5 minute walk to base lodge and SNOW Bus. The host was quick to reply to inquiries and made sure we got in with ease. Plenty of towels, blankets, with many little amenities that made us feel at home. Very pleasant experience for all of us! We will for sure come back here!

This townhome is in a great location close to the Home Again run. A little bit of walking is required, but only a few hundred feet. The house was very nice and had all the cooking amenities we needed. Our host was very responsive and took care of all our needs promptly and professionally. The only thing that was a little weird was having to access 3 of the beds through the master bedroom. As long as your group is okay with that, everything else was great!! Recommended. Thank you!

We traveled for Christmas. There were 13 of us ranging from 3 to 57. The kitchen is new and top of the line. Each family had their own space and the kiddos loved the bunk/media room. The master suite on the upper level is spacious and private. The home is right on the chair 6 ski trail and such an easy walk to ski/snowboard. Eric, our host made us feel at home. He was so helpful. We will definitely be back!

We are avid travelers and often use VRBOs - this is by far the best we’ve had. We were a varied group- from teens to grandparents and everyone was comfortable and happy. Beautiful Mountain Views and a wonderful host to boot! Derek was also like a concierge, giving great recommendations on what to see and do! Don’t think twice- stay here!

The condo was great for our party of 7 adults and 2 children. We stayed in August and were able to take a couple short walks to the resort where we enjoyed the alpine slide and gondola ride. There are plenty of comfortable sleeping areas. However, be aware that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through the back of the lovely master suite on the 2nd floor. This would be perfect for a couple who wants their small children near. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs along with a den space that has 4 wonderful built in bunk beds. In it. The kitchen/dining/living space is on the main floor. It had more than enough room for our group to hng out. We had a lovely time. Derek was attentive to our needs and periodically checked in to see if we needed anything.

The extra large, thick, fluffy, soft bath towels were just one of the features which made The Homestead a 5-Star. Nice design, big rooms, tall ceilings, super equipped kitchen, view, fancy TV's - it had it all.

We had a great time at this cabin. The location is great for GNP as well as Whitefish. The cabin had plenty of space for our group of 15 (4 couples and 7 kids). The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

The best place to stay for a summer trip in the Flathead Valley
The Homestead was the perfect place for my friends and me to stay while vacationing in Whitefish. The home was clean and had everything we would need/want to have a good time. The surrounding area is peaceful and so incredibly beautiful. Also, Derek made us feel welcome and was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. If you are considering a visit to Whitefish or even the surrounding area this is a great place to stay!

Exceeded expectations!
This property was the perfect get away for my family. Not only did it fit everyone comfortably, it was also very beautiful. You get a beautiful view of the mountains from the deck where the hot tub is located. The host was extremely helpful and generous. We would definitely come back again!! (:
