A great property in the stable, a warm reception and some neat connection points like tours and pool

Oh it was lovely, a sort of rough cast exterior and concrete painted walls with concrete floors. Big spacious rooms and lots of good facilities! Great restaurant too!

Could be a bit noisy in the common area.

Excelente lugar y atención

La atención de Inés y de Tatiana fue de la mejor, súper atentas buscando que toda mi estancia sea de lo mejor. Las instalaciones muy bonitas, el personal del restaurante muy amable, la piscina con esa vista desde la terraza me encantó y las diferentes actividades diarias que tienen también, súper recomendado.

Tolles Hostel mit atemberaubender Dachterrasse!

Tolle Zimmer, toller Außenbereich und das Highlight die Dachterrasse mit Pool und Bar!! Toll war außerdem dass die Zimmer eine aircondition und Trinkwasser hatten.

Die Lage war nicht ganz ideal, man muss eine Weile zu Fuß laufen wenn man in die Innenstadt will. Aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Würde es trotzdem jederzeit wieder buchen!

Un lindo lugar para iniciar diferentes aventuras desde Santa Marta.

Me gusta mucho la cocina del lugar, tanto del restaurante de abajo como la terraza. La atención en recepción es muy buena. Me gustan mucho las instalaciones y siempre es mi primera opción cuando voy a Santa Marta.

Creo que las actividades propuestas necesitan de un host, alguien que ayude a que las personas se conozcan, he visto este rol en Viajero Medellín, Tayrona y Salento, con eso se aseguran de hacer las actividades y que todos participen. Vi a muy pocas personas pidiendo el trago de bienvenida. También vi unas personas con unos niños, pensé que el hostal era solo para adultos. Deberían mejorar los descuentos para las personas que los visitamos tanto. El aire acondicionado de las habitaciones compartidas estaba demasiado frío.

buen Hostel

Es un Hostel grande, limpio, ordenado. Con actividades, restaurant y empleados sumamente amables.

En partes parece estar construido así nomas, tiene muchos techos rotos. Los ruidos en la terraza se escuchan literalmente en la habitación. Apenas alejado del centro.

Vacaciones

El hostel cuenta con todo lo necesario para hacer de tu estadía algo entretenido, cómodo y seguro. El ambiente es super relajado con actividades diferentes todos los días. La calidad de la cocina y el bar es otra cosa maravillosa, además como plus los precios son muy accesibles. Respecto al "ruido" en la noche, cada pieza cuenta con tapones en caso de que te cueste dormir, pero en verdad hay una hora tope de bulla por lo que no afecta mucho all descanso y el volumen es super adecuado.

Hay zancudos por la zona selvática y el repelente en spray no funciona mucho, recomiendo comprar en santa marta alguno que sea natural.

Maravilloso. Totalmente recomendable.

Todo perfecto. El personal maravilloso, nos aconsejaron de muchísimas cosas ( donde cenar, como llegar al centro y si eran horas adecuadas para ir andando o mejor taxi, como llegar al tayrona etc). Desayuno puntual, variado y muy rico. La piscina es fantástica y tienen un bar con música hasta las doce de la noche, permitiendo luego el descanso. Me dio pena no poder quedarme más tiempo porque tenían muchas actividades.

Nada que no me gustase. Esta mínimamente alejado del centro pero lo compensa totalmente. Volvería a alojarme aquí si volviese a Santa marta.

Unpersönlich, aber ein gutes Hostel für nen schnellen Zwischenstopp.

Es ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Dachterasse ist wunderschön! Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und angenehm zum schlafen.

Es ist sehr unpersönlich, weil dieses Hostel einfach RIESIG ist. Hier kann man sich schnell mal verloren fühlen. Viel Durchlauf.

This place is meeting the expectations. The staff is friendly and skilful, the room has a high value for money and they offer an interesting program of facilities. Walking distance to the centre.

The quality of the pasta and poke bowl was slightly disappointing but fair for a hostel.

Everything about this hostel is perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms very clean and luxurious. The pool and rooftop are amazing. The food was pretty good too. The hostel is super social and most people have the same plans, so it’s super easy to find people to go to Tayrona with.

The area around the hostel isn’t super safe.

Highly recommended

From the moment we checked in to our departure, our stay at Viajero in Santa Marta was nothing short of exceptional. The check-in process was both quick and informative, setting a positive tone for our stay. The staff were attentive and made sure we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. The hostel boasts an excellent restaurant, and we were lucky enough to arrive on their special "Tacos Night." Although the tacos were sold out by the time we got there, we were far from disappointed with our alternative choices of plantain and ceviche, both of which were delicious. One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop area, where we enjoyed the place with a bottle of wine. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for unwinding. A special mention goes to the staff for their thoughtful service. My partner had an early flight, and they went out of their way to prepare a sandwich for her at 6 am. Even though I don't know if the sandwich was good :D We didn't get a chance to use the rooftop pool, it looked inviting and well-maintained. If you're planning a trip to the heart of Santa Marta, Viajero is a hostel worth visiting. We highly recommend it for its exceptional service, quality amenities, and inviting atmosphere.

Staff so lovely and hostel so clean! Santa Marta the área isnt very safe nor has a lot going on so would be great if the upstairs bar offered more types of food or the restaurant downstairs opened later / served the people who are staying at the hostel upstairs however everything else was great and again, staff made the experience and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.

Someone used my booking account to write a review on this hostel - giving a 10 and glorifying 2 persons of the staff. Creepy. Also, the water of the swimming pool felt really dirty.

Nice and clean place, they have a place to leave your suitcase while you wait for check-in. Friendly staff in all areas, like Liliana and Brandon in the restaurant and Julius at the front desk. Particularly the place is good.

Another excellent stay at the Viajero Hostel!:) Special shoutout to Edgardo and Eilin both of whom are lovely people who always make our stay worthwhile. Super laid back and nice to talk to and always ready to help with whatever you need. Facilities, as always, were spotlessly clean (courtesy of the loveliest cleaning ladies of the Caribbean coast!) which was so nice after the boutique we'd previously stayed at. Hot water in the showers, red squirrels in the tree outside our window, delicious limonadas in the restaurant and great places to sit and work remotely. Very happy to have spent the money here, always feels worthwhile:) Thanks for having us, best staff ever!
