Cute little house was perfect for us. Had an issue with the wifi and Sandy was very fast at taking care of it. Quiet little neighborhood. It was nice to have a private beach. Only complains that I would say is the dryer and the one neighbor was very rude to us.

Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way. The beach house is so pretty and clean. If you love to cook, the kitchen has EVERYTHING you’ll need. The beach is your backyard and we made fires on the beach every night. Everyone we talked to was super friendly! We already booked for next year and can’t wait to go back.

Two years in a row and we are so glad we found this bay home!

This was our second summer at the cottage, and we already can't wait for next year! Sandy is a wonderful host and the house is perfect for our family of 4 (plus a very happy beach dog!)

The upgrades are fantastic and Sandy is top notch, with her how to, and recommendations !
Our entire experience at this property was exactly what we hoped it would be!

Just got back from an amazing week at Sandy's cottage - it was great! The home was just as advertised and very clean. The new kitchen is great and having laundry right in the home was very convenient! The big TV was great when we all needed some downtime, and the location was very quiet. We enjoyed the beach out front, as well as easy excursions to Lewes, Cape Henlopen and Rehobeth. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay! The cottage is well kept and cozy with great upgrades and a lovely new kitchen. Beach access is incredibly convenient. The patio area is perfect for outside meals and the rockers on the porch are a great place to unwind. Definitely dog friendly! Also, the host communicated clearly and responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue with an appliance.Overall a terrific place!

Wonderful cottage on the Bay where all my stress went out with the waves! The area is beautiful and the house had everything we could have needed and many surprising extras. My husband dog and I had a wonderful week with even a few nights visit with my daughter and granddaughter who too enjoyed a few night get away. Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful cottage home.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was exactly as listed and very clean. We loved being right on the beach which was wonderful for our two small children. Our kids loved all the wildlife on the beach and the ocean was calm and perfect for toddlers. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect getaway for a family of four! The cottage was perfect for our relaxing week at the beach. All of the improvements in the past year were amazing. Highly recommend this property for a stress-free vacation.

The house is several decades old, but has been cared for and beautifully renovated. Kitchen is outstanding . . beautiful finishes, high-end appliances, and open to living/dining areas. Bath also nicely renovated. Great colors, nice art, original pine floors.

We had such a great stay. The cottage’s back yard is the beach, it’s so close and peaceful. The house itself is super cute and bigger than we expected. The remodeled kitchen is gorgeous with a lot of counter space and cabinets for storage. We hope to come again next summer 😊

This cozy little cottage was everything we needed for a week at the beach. The kitchen is brand new, complete with the newest technology drawer microwave and induction stove. The tile work and countertop were fabulous! The bathroom was also newly renovated and included a washer/dryer combo that allowed us to return home with clean laundry! Beach access is outstanding - we fished quite a bit with good success. Thank you for a great, great vacation!

This little house has everything you need for a family of 5-6 to comfortably stay at the beach. The entertainment (TV, surround sound, WiFi) was fantastic and kept our 3 kids busy in between beach trips and trips out to eat. The beach is fantastic, much less rocks than Slaughter Beach. Just bring PLENTY of bug spray and sunscreen!
Milton is 15 minutes away and has everything you need for your vacation as well. Plenty of great dining locations. Po Boys Creole is hands down the best place to eat, but we were forced to find somewhere else since they were closed the week we were there for vacation and COVID protocols. Luckily, we ate at Irish Eyes Pub in Milton, and that was our go-to for the week. That and Dough Bar is enough to satisfy your taste buds while getting sunburnt on the beach!
Also, the owner was very easy to contact and super nice. If we head back to PrimeHook, we are 100% picking this location again!

We loved this property! The neighborhood was quiet and the beach was relaxing & very un-crowded. The literal opposite of Rehoboth, which we visited one day for the boardwalk experience. We had bonfires on the beach, the low tide and waves were amazing for the kids and the dog had a blast!! Would definitely come back. Could totally use some closets or closet bars to hang up clothes and a few more kitten items like pizza pans and cookie sheets!

My husband and I had a great week at Sandy's property in Prime Hook. It was much larger than anticipated with 3 separate bedrooms. We closed the doors to the two smaller rooms as we did not need them. The master and bathroom were spotless. There were some corners that had cobwebs but were likely unutilized spaces. While you don't have a view of the beach directly from the house, the beach is literally 20 steps out the door. We would leave from the side door and take a dip. The outdoor shower was nice to rinse off before entering again. Take note, there are no businesses on Prime Hook itself so we had to make a grocery run the first night to pick up supplies. That being said, the kitchen is well stocked and I cooked many meals.
One bonus was the daybed set off to the corner in a pseudo-sunroom setup. It was so lovely to sit there and read and hear the sounds and peek up over the dunes to the water.
My pup had a great time as well running around and chasing the bunnies that would munch on grass every evening. He especially liked running on the beach. The neighbors are all family oriented and very friendly. Overall, we would love to stay at this property again.

Excellent experience all the way around. Sandy is an exceptional host who is every kind and responsive. The cabin as we ended up calling it is right on the dune and literally steps to your spot on the beach. This place reminds me of cabins I’ve stayed in up in the mountains except it’s on a very quiet and low key beach. This place has all of the basic amenities you need for your stay. The really big 4K TV and Bose surround sound for late night movie watching was an added bonus. We ate breakfast just about every morning on the patio out front and it was perfect. I’m the evening we would open up the offset umbrella over the table and it worked out well. The queen size mattress was one of those fancy memory foam mattresses and very comfortable. We didn’t use any of the other beds as it was just me, my wife, and our 3yr old English Springer Spaniel puppy named Harley. We would stay here again for sure!

Excellent location and beautiful cottage
Host made us aware that was only 1100 square feet, but feels much bigger due to open concept kitchen and living room. Bathroom was updated and beautiful. We enjoyed patio, outdoor shower and fires on the beach. A perfect vacation, we will definitely be back.

Updated and nice location
The house worked out perfect for our dogs and was located in a nice location to walk out the door to the beach. It takes a little time to get to the bigger beaches but if you want less hassle and quiet it is perfect. The house set up was perfect and everything was updated and well thought out. I highly recommend this rental.

Cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Right next to the beach with easy access was a definite plus. Locals and guests alike were friendly and the fact that the community was so dog friendly as well was just wonderful. Milton was a nice little town for dinners and ice cream, and proximity to the other Delaware beaches and Ocean City made it easy to venture out for shopping, etc.

The property was so clean and easy to keep up. Cleaning products were provided along with TP, laundry soap, and paper towels. I particularly appreciated that the dish and washing machine soaps were environmentally safe. I also appreciated that counter, bureau tops, and table tops had minimal decor so there was plenty of room to put my own dog and beach paraphernalia. And the fridge was completely empty! Lovely. All of the beds/mattresses were very comfortable. I did bring a small fan for the single bedroom which was farthest away from the a.c. and I was glad I did; it got a little warm and stuffy as the night progressed.
There were plenty of places to explore and lots of wildlife to identify. My dog loved to walk the beach, chasing her ball into the shallows. The tides were dramatic and you could take your beach chair way out during low tide and simply move it back bit by bit as the tide came in. Perfect for kids as the water was never rough or too deep. Bring bug repellent, water shoes (it was horseshoe crab breeding season in June), and a beach umbrella bc if there is a land breeze, the flies bite.
Sandy was a joy to work with. Super responsive! For this girl who was born and bred on the Eastern Shore, it was a slice of heaven.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. We loved being right on the beach and the quiet and quaint neighborhood. The horseshoe crabs had nearly finished spawning while we were there so it make swimming a little tricky, but we really enjoyed just hanging out in the beach and enjoying all the wildlife.
