Exceptional

A very cosy home has everything you need added bonus of lovely fresh scones on arrival. It's within walking distance to the shops, beach, restaurants & bars. Short drive to most attractions on the island. A lovely friendly hostess.

It’s is best place I ever stayed being so close to beach and restaurants

The homemade scones was beautiful and best I have tasted in a long time. Kids were delighted with the cereal and everything was clean. Loved the fact I could see the sea from the house and it was so close and restaurants and cafe within walking distance. Will be back .

Achill out of this world and our stay was made so perfect at Keel cottage

ideal location in Achill. Lovely host and the house was ideal for us and our dogs. We will definitely be back soon.

Very pleasant stay

Catherine had lovely fresh scones on arrival, all the little touches really impressed me as they go a long way. We had our little dog with us and it was brilliant for all the walks, hikes swims. Would highly recommend booking.

We all had a great stay in the Cosy Keel Cottage with my husband and my Parents. The location was ideal close to the shop, and a few restaurants and the beach which was so handy as it was within walking distance.. The fresh home made scones with jam, and butter was such a treat on arrival. We got out on a few beautiful walks between the rain showers to explore beautiful Achill. Hope to be back soon.

Cozy, peaceful cottage where we’d certainly return.

The proprietor was warm & friendly. The homemade scones, orange juice and milk were a nice touch. Crisp clean linen and plenty of towels. Candles under sink which was very thoughtful as the power went out in the storm. Good temperature. Washer & Dryer. Dryer very useful to dry our clothes after beach walks. Walking distance to beach. Peaceful.

Would have loved to have been able to have open lit fire.

Perfectly located, comfortable cottage.

Fabulous location in the heart of Keel. Close to beach and amenities. Cosy cottage, very clean, with lots of extras- toiletries, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and much more. Homemade scones with butter and jam, were a very welcome touch. Extremely comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our all too brief stay. Achill is now my favourite destination in Ireland. Beautiful.

wonderful place to stay to explore all around Achill.

perfect location for seeing and exploring Achill. lovely view of the sea and cliffs. Plenty of room for a family of four or up to six. everything you could need.

only one toilet but that’s a minor thing.

Location excellent. Very clean. Host had left cleaning and basics in press and fridge. Also had left scones for our arrival.

Perfect family few days away

Family of 5 , 3 children ( 11,7,5) . perfect location , within walking distance of everything. Lovely Neighbours that greeted us when we arrived . House was really nice, very comfy beds. Will defiantly come back again . We had a great holiday.

It would be difficult not to give this a positive rating. It was great value for money. The house itself was spotless, including toilet facilities. Catherine had lovely personalised welcome surprises for us on arrival. The location was perfect as everything was within walking distance within Keel. Would come back and stay again. Some would say it us dated but it was very welcoming for a little cottage in a small beautiful place. Thank you for hosting us and our dog!

Location was really good as next to all amenities and take away. Cathorine was very thoughtful to fill required eatables and wine in fridge as if someone is late and stores are closed, you wont be haasled. Stay was comfy
