The whole building and story are very interesting.
Relaxed and friendly. Yes - you are staying in a museum!!!
Old and loved, there are numerous fabulous period features that tell their own visual history of the property. It is great to contribute to the ongoing life of the property.

Nice, old building with history.
Friendly stuff.
Clean rooms
Comfortable bed.
Room had TV, coffee maker, fridge.
What else do you need:)
Breakfast could have bigger variety…
Tea/cofee, yogurt, some baked goods, fruits and that it.

Le site et le calme environnant
L'insonorisation de la chambre et le pour le petit-déjeuner un peu plus en quantité aurait été parfait, plutôt que 1 yaourt et 1 brioche par personne.

The history associated with the Oneida Community, the exhibits, the well equipped library, the grounds, the location, the modern bathrooms, the Keurig machine in the room.
The beds, although very clean and modern, had uncomfortable mattresses.

Amazing historic property. Staff was great and encouraged exploration of the mansion and the grounds. Large bathroom.
The only thing that I could suggest is an additional reading light on the left side of the king bed in the room where we stayed.

Continental Breakfast was fine. Grounds were beautiful.
No one checked the continental breakfast area while we were there and 2 families came down after us and there wasn't anything to eat.

Felt like a home rather than a hotel.
Nothing.

THE LOCATION, THE SURROUNDINGS, THE STAFF, AND THE OVERALL ACCOMODATIONS. IT WAS INTERESTING TO LEARN ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE PROPERTY AND MEET PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN CHANGES TAKE PLACE OVER TIME.
THE TOWELS- A BIT LIGHTWEIGHT; THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS VERY LIMITED, ESPECIALLY FOR SPECIAL DIETS; POWER BARS, NUTS AND OTHER GRAB AND GO ITEMS THAT ARE GLUTEN FREE WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT; A HOT BREAKFAST OPTION WOULD ALSO BE GREAT- WE HAD TO FIND A DINER TO GET A HOT BREAKFAST THE SECOND DAY.

Great staff and great location. All staff were nice and helpful. Kelly called us before our visit to confirm our stay. This was a nice touch. The whole complex is quite interesting. Suggest taking the very informative guided tour to learn about the history and see the exhibits. Our room had a nice view of the mature trees found on the property. Pastries and yogurt served at breakfast were yummy.
It was hot, not the fault of the location but it meant having to have a fairly loud AC unit going through the night. We would be interested in staying again, but in cooler times. Also the bed was a bit uncomfortable because of the heat.

Fascinating architecture and history. Nice people. Nicely appointed. Decent restaurants nearby. Safe and lovely neighborhood. Wonderful artwork on the walls.
They ran out of breakfast except for the baked goods which were awesome. I had said ahead of time that I needed decaf coffee and it was only available in the room. Tasted like the cardboard cup I drank it from.

They were very accommodating to our late check in and early check out.

The property was amazing. Loved the tour and the history of the mansion. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The staff never told us there was an elevator. The stairs were hard to maneuver with luggage. Bed was Ok and tub was a little hard to get in and out. A shower stall would had been better. Need grab bars in the tub at least.

The history behind the building.

Staying within a working museum is a unique experience. Many cool spaces to explore, rooms very comfortable and nicely modernized, wonderful staff and the local baker delivers each morning the best gigantic chocolate & cinnamon buns to accompany coffee in the lounge. During our stay we enjoyed chatting with the quilting group busily sewing and adding yet another neat historical component to our experience.
Not a strong objection; however, the unseasonably warm days (mid 80's) made the room a bit warm for sleeping, but handled decently by the rotary fan and large open windows

history, tour.
breakfast was spare, and the rooms got very cold during the night.
