The room was clean, and the staff was helpful.

There is a $200 security deposit and $10 per day parking fee that are not mentioned when booking. The ice machine did not work 2nd day we were there.

Towels in room were dirty. Sand all over the floor, tub was stopping/backing up. Covers didn’t smell good, covers very thin. Tv just went out, couldn’t watch tv.

I have stayed here in the past and will again when IT IS OPEN

IT WAS CLOSED. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. THE MOTEL IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON AND BOOKING AND THE MOTEL DO NOT RESPOND TO YOU BUT WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD. MADE THE RESERVATION WHILE AT DINNER AND IF THE MOTEL APPEARSON BOOKING, YOU EXPECT IT TO BE OPEN. IT IS NOT OPEN. IT'S DARK. NO ONE IS THERE AND THE OFFICE IS DARK. IT SHOULD NOT BE ON THE BOOKING APP AND CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR NOTHING IN RETURN.

Nice reno

Nice reno. I stayed here multiple times when it was owned by the flamingo. It has changed hands the last couple years and the Room was reno'd. No more carpet. Updated room. Cold AC, WiFi was just ok, spotty and in and out. They need to fix that. Comfy bed and hot shower. Across the street from Higgins, which is why I went to begin with. Nice staff, especially the lady at the front desk. Fridge, microwave. It's quiet on the 3rd floor.

Spotty in and out wifi. No pool, but there's an ocean right there. Didn't like lugging my belongings up to the 3rd floor, but I'm older and lazy. I survived. Not enough outlets for charging electronics. The one was by the mirror and they cut off the outlet face to place the mirror. Need a trashcan by the office. Found the maid cleaning the room even though I placed the do not disturb sign. Found out she was non english speaking when I tried chatting with her, so...it is what it is. The employee who brought her kid with the whistle.

Bathroom needs an upgrade. And please hire window cleaners. I had to clean ours with dollar store products. The workers are busy. I actually ended up mopping my own floors too (dollar store). I left it easy for them.

Simple but Nice

Rooms have been updated and look quite nice. Location is amazing, not beach front but feet away, just at end of board walk.

Its small, but still for the price its reasonable. Ground floor balcony rooms are street level with no railing so people could walk right up to your balcony door. Bathroom is tiny. No ice machine was kind of annoying.

the house keeping never came to our room so we had to go get toilet paper at front desk every morning.

Terrible will never recommend this place to anyone

The only thing nice about this property was that it was close to the beach everything else was disgusting and terrible.

First when you check in they have a sheet on the desk that states what each thing inside the hotel room is worth and if it’s missing how much each thing will cost. Before I even checked into my room and brought my stuff up I asked the front desk employee if they had noted any of the damage inside the property so they wouldn’t take the security deposit. He just laughed and wasn’t really being helpful. I went up into the room to do my own check of the facility. The outlet was ripped out of the wall behind the bed. The microwave wasn’t cleaned, there was damage to the bed frame and damage to the dresser. There was only 3 plugs in the room the one that was ripped out behind the bed that’s a safety hazard. The one by the dresser and the one that had the fridge and microwaved plugged in. The bedding was disgusting there was hair under all under the sheets, stains on the bedding. The shower was broken for over 3+ hours when we got there and once fixed wasn’t done correctly so the knob only could turn to cold water and not hot water . When I asked for new bedding they could only provide me with one sheet and blanket. They gave me the sheets they had no one there to change them out since they send the maid staff home at 3 which doesn’t make sense since that’s the time people check in. So after bringing all the information down to the front desk the kid behind the desk laughed and wasn’t able to get me in contact with the manager. The next day I came downstairs and I talked to someone actually helpful about everything. The owners wife came into the hotel and I was able to speak with her about the issues she stated to give me a 20% off discount on my stay because of the quality of the room. I was gonna leave it at that.

This is a good place for a very short stay

Location was nice. Short walk to the beach

They didn’t have outlets to charge any device by the bed or bedside table. The tub had rust in it. The keys constantly stopped working. The mini fridge compartments kept breaking.

Price and location are great but I wouldn’t recommend.

we had a great time and this was a perfect room for the two of us

it looked exactly as it did in the pictures. the room was renovated and the cleaning ladies came in every morning / afternoon to make sure our room was stocked with towels, the bed was made, also mopped the floors. it was comfortable and held up everything it said it would from the description and pictures. this was our first time and we will book again!

the only comment I will make is that the bathroom is outdated and small.. also inside the shower, the walls weren’t the cleanest but not extremely dirty either. it can be a quick fix

the front door didn’t close all the way and the bolt lock didn’t work. wind could block through the cracks of the door. Bathroom was filthy and my son’s socks were black after walking on the floor.

I I was very displeased

I arrived around 4pm and my room was not ready, I booked a king room and wound up getting 2 double beds. my key did not work and I waited an hour in my room for them to bring me working keys.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING HERE!!

The staff was welcoming... that's about it

The building is a very old building and shows it. You can't just throw a coat of paint on the outside that everyone sees and leave the stairwells utouched, rusty stair rails, chipped paint on the walkways, broken ise machine, TV is analog with no sound past a certain channel, no local channnel. We were placed in a room where we got no sleep due to the rude and unconsiderate people above us, and were told that we had to move instead of moving the people above us who were rude and unruly. I called the office at 12:45 am and told the person in the office about the people above us and she went to ask them to stop what they were doing but the people got worse after that, then tried calling several times to the office during the night to let her know, as the people above us never stopped and no answer because there was no one in the office over night!! So we got no sleep at all until the people above us finally decided to stay seated or finally fell asleep at 3:57 am then they were right back to making noise stomping on the floor at 6:32 am again!!
