When we got to the place it was good for us as we were travelling with a dog so it was secure for the dog and for us that was a big bonus.
Easy to get into and it was spotless with a welcome card and a complimentary pack which was nice had a nice and relaxed few days away so enjoyed the place and a plus side for me was that the kitchen was good and it was well stocked with everything to use if you cook when you are away we normally bbq but the weather wasn't good enough even the rear garden was nice as it would be bbq beers and the fire lit, like I said it was the weather at fault but can't fault the place.

We loved our stay here. Great location, a 5 minute stroll downhill into Bowness and the lake (10 mins home uphill!!) and central enough to be able to explore the wider area by car, boat or minibus. The house was beautifully clean, well furnished and had all the facilities we could need for our stay. It’s in a lovely quiet area, away from the busy town and lakeside area.
We’ll definitely be back!!

A lovely house located close to shops, restaurants, public transport etc. The house was immaculate, cosy and relaxing. We very much enjoyed our stay with family at Lexington House.

We had a fabulous stay at Lexington House during half term. The rooms were spacious and everything was well equipped and clean. The location was perfect for popping into Bowness, as it was only a couple of minutes away and has loads to offer holiday makers. The house itself is located in a quiet street, away from the road traffic.
I was particularly impressed with the communication response of the owners when we had various queries - they came back to us within minutes when we had an issue and sorted it out immediately.
I would 100% recommend this to others wishing to stay in the area, which has a lot to offer.

We just loved this property. Spotlessly clean, fantastic location for walking into Bowness , a very well-equipped kitchen (with sharp knives!) and an extremely comfortable bed. Hosts could not have been more helpful with the booking process and information provided. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Lexington House celebrating a family birthday. The house is amazing, spacious, immaculately clean and everything you need is there. We really enjoyed our stay, the home is cosy to come back to after long walks and busy days. We were able to make use of the outdoor fire even in March which was a lovely bonus

Myself, husband and family spent the weekend at Lexington house for my husband’s birthday this weekend. Although the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had a wonderful weekend. We like to come and visit the Lakes quite often, but Lexington house made our stay this time round.
Can’t fault anything at all. Great communication with Rebecca & Phil who are always on hand to answer any questions we had. The house was beautiful and clean.
We will definitely look at coming back in the future.
Thank you for a lovely stay x

Our stay at Lexington House was absolutely fantastic from start to finish!
Our hosts Rebecca & Phil were amazing in terms of communication, information and they made us feel right at home. The house itself is wonderful with literally everything we needed and it has a real homely and modern feel to it as you will see from the pictures. For those with little ones there is space for a travel cot in all 3 bedrooms and our hosts provided a stair gate which was a lifesaver!
The location is excellent and was definitely a big deciding factor for our stay, it was perfect!
We stayed in early January and although the weather outside was very bitter, the memories of this little break are anything but! We loved our stay at Lexington House and made lots of very happy family memories to cherish. We hope to stay again soon.
Thanks again to Rebecca & Phil

We went as a family of six adults in August. The house is very well equipped and everything is done to a really high standard. The location is also very good - you can walk everywhere if you want to and not use the car at all. Really helpful and responsive owners and I'm sure we'll be back.

Lexington House was the perfect place to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday with my family. So comfortable and clean, with everything you could need in a home from home. Fantastic communication with the hosts Phil and Rebecca, very prompt reply to any queries. Great location, five minutes walk down into Bowness and all of the shops. We all loved it, and will hopefully return in the future.

From booking to arriving the whole process was so smooth, with very helpful communication from the lovely Rebecca and Phil who even left a gorgeous welcome hamper, thank you!
The house is absolutely beautiful, every detail is perfect and immaculately cleaned and kept.
The kitchen has everything you need and is labelled very helpfully to return items to the right cupboards.
The outdoor space is such a bonus especially with the outdoor fire. The bedrooms are gorgeous with huge beds and plush carpets. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully return again, thank you for a fantastic stay!

Our stay at Lexington House was wonderful! We are regular visitors to the Lakes & especially Bowness, so have stayed in lots of properties & this is one we will definitely return to! Rebecca & Phil sent so much info in advance of our stay & have thought of everything. The house is located in an ideal location to explore the Lakes & Bowness has everything to offer, so you can easily park up for a few days without having to drive anywhere. The house was extremely clean & had lots of amenities & it was also very quiet. We stayed with our 14 year old daughter & my parents & we all had plenty of room & our own space. Thank you again Rebecca & Phil… the ideal hosts!

Myself and my wife stayed here for 7 nights with our 3 boys (agreed 5, almost 2 and 12 weeks). The house is exactly per the listing. Super clean, everything you need and very well furnished. The outside fire is a great touch too alongside a very clean barbecue, which we would have used if the weather permitted!
It’s extremely close to Bowness which is great as you can walk to the down. There is also a small play park nearby which helps pass a bit of time.
The hosts were excellent and responsive. We will definitely be back!

The property is amazing and if anything above expectations. All in all a real 5 star accommodation which we would all happily stay at in the future.
Also need to highlight the communication with the owners was more than you would expect. Plenty of information on walks, restaurants etc pre arrival and any questions throughout answered timely and in a friendly manner. Nice touch to contact us on day 1 to ask if we got checked in ok and similarly on check out day to say thank you.

We had the most amazing stay at Lexington House. The house was perfect size for 6 of us, really clean and comfortable. The location was great with a less than 5 minute walk into the centre of Bowness and with many walks from the doorstep. The communication with the hosts was frequent and timely and answered any query quickly. A fabulous holiday and we hope to return again!

The house is thoughtfully decorated with quality furnishings, and is well equipped for cooking and eating indoors and outside. Six adults comfortably occupied the three double rooms and enjoyed the outside furniture and fire pit and the lounge and dining areas.
Check in was easy and instructions helpful and easy to follow. Location is very good with a short downhill walk to the town and lakefront jetty. A slightly slower uphill walk back after refreshment! A short bus ride or pleasant half hour stroll from Windermere Station. Plenty of space for cars to park inside the gated access. We would recommend to other groups of travellers.

We were a family of 6 (3 couples and a small dog) and we stayed in the house for a week for a 60th Birthday Celebration! We couldn’t have picked a more lovely place to celebrate! The house was perfect, very clean, excellent location (few minutes walks to shops/restaurants in Bowness) and excellent outside area (bbq, seating, fire pit, outside lights, secure and dog friendly). The bedrooms were very stylish and all had their own ensuite! Thank you for a lovely stay - we hope to be back again someday!

We were so impressed by the cleanliness, really tasteful and elegant style of the decor and furnishings. Every room was perfect, the kitchen was great, the beds were like sleeping on clouds and we had free range of the thermostat too which in april is always helpful, plus there is a fire in the lounge for cold nights.
The location was absolutely perfect for windemere and its amenities and also beautiful surroundings and amazing walks behind the house away from the crowds.
The hosts messaged within an hour of our arrival to make sure we had all we need and that we found everything ok and couldn't have been more helpful.
I would recommend this listing for anyone with a family and a pet as it really was ideal in every aspect. We will be returning for sure!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this truly amazing property. The property is located on a lovely quiet road which is perfectly placed to access the attractions of Bowness. The property itself is finished to an exceptionally high standard and I can honestly say it is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in.

What can we say? This was a festive family trip (5 adults and a cockapoo) as we live scattered across the UK and it was the perfect house and location.
The main draw for me was the fact each bedroom was en suite. Amazing! And of course the all important four legged family member was welcome.
It’s a really well spec’d high quality house. It has everything (and I mean everything) you need accounted for and was detailed clean, like new, so you literally turn up, unpack and RELAX.
The location is wonderful. Quiet, private (electric gates to the front so you know your cars are tucked up and safe from being on the road and enclosed rear yard that I imagine is lovely in summer months) but a hop skip and jump from everything.
It actually snowed (and layed) as we arrived so Cassius Living you truly provided everything plus the magic (including the log burner and Christmas decs)!
Speaking of Cassius Living. Rebecca & Phil were amazing. The entire booking process was seamless. They were proactive with all sorts of information for our stay, responded to all questions and were knowledgable about everything in the local area. There was even a lovely little welcome card and hamper. Such a small but impactful gesture to really take the experience to the next level, as well as a proactive check in that we’d arrived safe and all was ok. Wonderful hosts and all about the customer experience. Thank you.
If you want to know would I recommend this property, it’s a heartfelt, honest and resounding YES! If you want to know would we return to this (or any other Cassius Living) l property the answer is a HELL YES!
I do hope we can return here it was genuinely the most magical family weekend we could ever have hoped for with memories to last a lifetime. Thank you, as that is truly priceless.

A lovely modern property. Everything provided for and above all lovely and warm. It is only a short walk from essential shops, restaurants and Lake. Everything during our visit ran smoothly - no issues. The house is comfortable, bright and immaculate. Our future Lake District trips will certainly bring us right back to Lexington House.

Lovely house, great scenery, convenient but quiet location. It’s rare to find 3 doubles with en-suite- this means no one had to pull the short straw in terms of bedrooms! This house lives up to its 5* rating. Hosts were very responsive and friendly to interact with. Would recommend to a friend!
8.0 / 10.0
The house was very well presented. The bathrooms and bedrooms scoring particularly highly. Unfortunately there were areas of concern. A number of issues of safety and concern were evident. The indoor eating area was restrictive and inaccessible. The sofas, while new, we found very uncomfortable. I had a back problem for a week after leaving! The stair gate across the first step was dangerous and not fit for purpose. The step from the kitchen to the outside area was dangerous with only half a step! The outdoor area was a comfortable and pleasant place to sit. We came away with mixed feeling.

Family break
Great property in great location perfect for our family gathering easy walk to lake Activities, bars and restaurants and some great walks. We ended our evenings outside sitting around the fire pit with a glass of wine looking at the stars. We would definitely choose this property again.

exceptional property and host
the property was very comfortable and very clean. Every available need was met and it is exactly as depicted in the web site. The host is the most generous man I have ever met. I had a medical emergency and had to cut vacation short. The host offered us one of his emloyees( Otto) to drive us from Bowness to London Heathrow to fly back early to the USA for me to see my cardiologist. This was a life saver and we can never thank him enough.. I would recommend Phil and Rebecca properties to anyone. Thanks again Phil. David

Weekend Away
Beautifully presented property with quality furniture in all rooms, comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, piping hot water - in fact no negatives at all. Lovely outside space as well
Stayed for the weekend with 4 friends - all couples. Great that we each had our own bathroom.
Perfect for walking into Bowness and down to the Lakeside - didn't need to use the car at all.
Host is also spot on with prompt responses to my requests/questions. I just can't fault anything about the property or location. Will definitely be my first choice next time I visit the area
