Noone answered my emails prior to staying.

Located in peaceful town, but literally right at the train station for going easily to Amsterdam or other cities AND with endless free parking. Trains are very quiet. Staff very friendly.

The hotel was what we expected for a Bastion hotel. Basic comfort. But the rate of euro 198 a night in that light too high. Friendly staff, charming reception area, bit old hallways with some parts smelling of smoke. Nice and calm neighborhood and good location next to station.

Clean, pleasent staff, housekeeping every day

Location was pretty far from Amsterdam central but train connectivity was ok, sometimes need to change the train to reach Amsterdam central
Not worth according to Price

The hotel was in a very convenient location, right in front of the train stop, next to a large nature park, and close to where we were working. The location was fantastic.
There were many problems with this hotel. Two days before we arrived, we were advised that they couldn't take payment and we risked having our booking cancelled. We tried calling, emailing, paying on their website, messaging through booking, and even contacting booking's customer service, and they couldn't reach the hotel either. When we arrived, they knew there was an issue but simply said "we can't call everyone, and our website doesn't always work" and didn't take any ownership for the fact that there was not even one single way to contact them.
The room itself was okay, but it was fairly dirty, with wires dangling and loose door handles. One of the handles came right off when we tried to open the bathroom. I'd expect better for the price.
We also asked reception for them to avoid cleaning or entering our room, and even when we put the sign on the door, they took it off and entered the room anyways. I had to have a serious conversation with the front desk staff and ask them to respect our choice to not have anyone enter our room.
We were staying at the hotel with our colleagues, all of us having several allergies, and even though the restaurant at the hotel doesn't cater to any alternative diets, They said that we could not order in food to eat at the restaurant or in any of the common areas.
Overall, I wasn't impressed with this hotel. They seemed to have a general feeling that they just didn't care and offered the absolute minimum. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was absolutely necessary. It's a shame, because they have a prime location.

Good beds, spacious room, clean bathroom, silence.
Missing water cooker and tea bags. Coffee machine not close to a socket.
No electric vehicle charging point at the hotel parking.

Free parking and some of the staff were really friendly.
The hotel charged me twice for the room and did not respond to my messages via booking.com. Odd because they kept sending me info through this.

The lady barman was very nice, cooked for us to taste NL snacks for free
Despite hotel was to be paid after arrival, they made transaction way earlier in advance. In fact stay with advance payment was way cheaper. Nonody reduced the price...
