room was very nice and spacious. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant.
could have been a microwave there..... or a fridge

Lovely reception staff and a great room
Nothing

Great surroundings moderns clean
Rooms way to hot. Couldn’t open windows due to overgrown vines. Late night noise till early hours. People smoking in the corridors and general disturbances from drunk guests

Thank you Jenny for a very warm welcome. Which says a lot about a place and makes all the difference to one's stay.
Rooms overlooking the gardens/golf course instead of the overflow car park!

The staff were friendly and room was nice size
Internet was non existent could not get to work. And my 4G was poor so could not complete work in room. Restaurant was ok but service charge added to meal without my knowledge and acceptance
Meal for £95 for 2 was not value for the quality

Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Dinner and breakfast buffets v. good

Bedrooms clean with everything you need. Breakfast good. Very helpfull member of staff (didnt get her name) who went out of her way to make sure my 90 year old mother in law had a ground floor room & gave her a slip mat for the shower
Breakfast took a while to order. Had to grab a member of staff. Bar service not very efficient. Lovely lady working the bar but we wasnt told it was closing,so when we grabbed a member of staff to get a drink before bed & we were told the till was closed & there was no facility to put the bill on our room. Not the mans fault but reception should have made us aware of this when we checked in.
Bed comfortable but squeaky

Paid for deluxe room, it was ok.
Used the restraunt on first night. Staff were young and inexperienced, service was slow, waiter/waitress were not checking that everything was ok or if we needed anything else. I have had far better experiences and made to feel more welcome at far more reasonably priced restraunts. Food was average so we ate elsewhere for rest of stay.

Clean, peaceful hotel with comfortable, pleasant rooms and friendly staff.
Good breakfast.
Beatiful gardens at rear leading down to qa golf course.

Hotel was clean and reception staff welcoming
Didn't notice gratuity on our evening meal bill..£23. We prefer to make our own decision when we tip

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for more.
The jacuzzi needed cleaning the jets, wasn't working properly but steam room was fantastic, very hot, brilliant, worked fantastically.
Spinach ravioli was fantastic; the flavour of it was delicious.
Everywhere we went, people were so friendly. It doesn't happen in Birmingham where I live. It was like being in different country.
Breakfast portions were to small for 4 star hotel but staff was very helpful. Dinner choice not best, small portions and not a lot of choice. Otherwise, fantastic place.

Felt price for breakfast too expensive.

The room layout was perfect and everything thought of really great for families
For us the beds where a little to firm

Pleasant room
Restaurant, 4 of us and only 3 meals brought out as they had missed one order. Nearly 1 hr later 9.30ish my daughter in law received hers. I had to ask the reason as no explanation given. Poor communication in a restaurant that wasn't busy.
Breakfast next morning was satisfactory.
4.1
Great location to commute to and from Longleat Safari Park for the Festival of lights.
Size of the room. Cleanliness of the room. Easy parking
Service was slow for breakfast. Breakfast items weren't being replenished quick enough which meant we had to ask for stuff. E.g. juice, plates for toast.
The receptionist when we checked in had to be prompted by us for directions to our room. More details would have been better, but she was well mannered.

Amazing bathroom
No control over room temperature, no obvious hotel guide .
4.1
Reception staff were excellent, breakfast and staff were very good
Family room door is right next to corridor door at the top of the stairs so everyone stops to talk and the door bangs all night. I know it’s a hotel but poor consideration for a family room.
Also a bit expensive for the quality of hotel
4.1
Location and hotel was good. Hotel requires remedial works.
Buckets around collecting water from leaky roofs. The first en suite shower was great, the second night we booked a suite. The toilet doesn’t flush properly, the bath has scale round the plug, the showers, are great, once you get temperatures right. In the suite, light bulbs out, door handles loose, cobwebs in the corners, some pillows on the beds are very hard.
