Ample parking. Very clean hotel. Nice shower.
The room I stayed in had appalling sound-proofing. I could hear the guest in the adjoining room sighing, talking in his sleep and heard every word of a phone call he made. I have never stayed in a hotel where I have had to place a cushion over my head to drown out the noise of someone talking in the next room. Such a shame as the hotel was so clean and well presented but I could never re-visit due to this problem with the soundproofing.

Accommodation was clean and tidy
Drink prices extortionate

I felt the menu was adequate for a la carte for short stay. The staff were excellent. I enjoyed the pizza but any relationship to Marco Pierre White should be dropped as it served no purpose as an advert for the food that was served.
It was cold at night and the quilt was thin, we couldn’t turn on the heating. There was a spare similar quilt which we found in a cupboard and used it. I have just had a knee replacement and had the daunting task of taking a heavy suitcase upstairs and down again from our allocated room. I didn’t, make a fuss as the accomodation was hard to get for a reunion I was attending travelling from Australia. Than you

Excellent location and comfortable room. Very clean. Good breakfast at extra cost.
Some road noise as room to that side but not enough to disturb sleep.

Very nice room and bathroom too, The bed was comfy and pillows just soft enough to have two.
The bed being on wheels once we were sitting with our backs to the wall we started to notice the bed creeping away from us. Apart from this minor/faint problem it was a great experience.

Quiet room, clean.
Very basic. No plug points beside bed. Staff very helpful.

Location
Hotel needs a refurb and modernisation very tired and very used.
Price does not reflect the standard, room not cleaned at all during stay, I was there for three days, and informed of this at check-in.
Will stay somewhere else next time,

Hotel room was spacious and comfortable. Evening meal in Marco's restaurant was delicious, and buffet breakfast in the morning was more than satisfying!
Some parts of the public areas were a little unloved with broken furniture and overflowing bin.

The staff were superb, very helpful and patient with my request to arrive late (it was 1am, we were at a wedding). The room was great, with tasteful notes of colour, and the tea and milk were good quality. Breakfast had a good range including very tasty scrambled egg, granola and dried apricots. Even at 1am there were 2 staff about.
The sausages didn't taste of much. Also I found the mattress too firm for my period achy hips and had to turn over several times, but it was otherwise very comfortable and everything about the room seemed high standard. The staff seemed to always be happy and helpful.
