I won’t be staying there again

The location

The room was smelly I had to leave the window open all night which made the room cold , the beds were not made right , the bathroom was disgusting , there was stuff lying all over the floor which obviously hadn’t been hovered from the previous client

Awful! Needs completely refurbishing!!!

The location

It is extremely tired & dirty!!! The room was dirty - cobwebs, dust, filthy skirting boards , windows, carpet. The remote control was absolutely disgusting!!!! Thankfully I carry antibacterial wipes & I cleaned it myself! The bathroom was very dated with mouldy grouting & mould spots on the ceiling. The sofa/sofa bed was a complete disaster with an actual hole in the seat & the chair was stained! The bed linen was clean (thank goodness!) but the sheet & quilt cover both had tears in. Absolutely never going to return! NB. We did ask if we could be moved but they were full.

Good location and good stay

Location, quietness of room (despite being next to the M5). Staff were friendly and the WiFi was free, too

Disappointing

Christina the lady at reception was very lovely and very informative. Gave the best service I've had at a hotel quite frankly.

The beds were very small. We're very uncomfortable. I was given the disabled room and I am not disabled. The room was right next to reception and I am very noise sensitive so it was very noisy and I didn't sleep very well. I wouldn't rate this hotel if I'm honest. The location was good if you're driving up north and that's about it.

The building was away from motorway and facilities noise Staff were lovely. The price was exceptional compared to other places in the area.

Wonderful room, large with 2 big double beds, clean and comfy, 3 mins walk away from the services.

It was rather difficult to find using our Sat Nav as the country lane ended at a stop sign. We could see the roof of the building through the trees, not 30 feet away, but did not want to drive through the stop one way sign for fear of another council fine! After backtracking, and arriving via the Motorway , the receptionist said that we could have driven through the Stop sign/one way traffic sign without any problems, but we didnt know this and I didn't want to take a chance. Once we had arrived, everything was excellent.

Affordable place to stay for a day or two

Affordable hotel, close to Bristol and Cotswolds, walking distance to Michaelwood services on M5. Its a good, cheap place to stay for a day or two.

The hotel it's a bit dated, the smell on the hallways it's like a damp smell, but the room itself was okay, because has windows which you can open for fresh air. Tehnically Bristol it's 20 mins away,but because the hotel its on the highway, to go Bristol, you need to go 20 mins in the opposite way first, to be able to turn around. There are no facilities for a quick breakfast, not even at extra cost.

Good

Stayed in this room before,it's what you expect for the cost and location. Room is big and bed is very comfy,plenty of tea and coffee available Shower is lovely with plenty of pressure.

Wasn't a big factor for me but room could do with a bit of tlc,they are motorway services hotels so have a large amount of guests all.year round and probably mostly trades men,it's not a holiday hotel. Still it's good value for money imo
