The location was perfect and Charlotte the Manager was so incredibly friendly and helpful- she absolutely took such wonderful cared of us.
Unfortunately our mattress was not terribly comfortable.

Quiet , charming and clean.

Excellent hotel in historic centre of town. Wonderful breakfast . Friendly and helpful staff.
4.0
Excellent location for city centre visit. Because of the historical nature of the city, parking is some distance away so it's not the best location to use as a base to see the wider area.
If I had been staying for more than 1 night I wouldn't have been happy to pay £10 a night to park until 11.30am and then £3/hour afterwards - but maybe that's only on the day of departure

Nothing. All good

Beautiful quaint hotel with big timber beams and carved panelling which makes it feels like it was pretty stately in its era .
Very attentive staff
Right in the centre of Shrewsbury in an idyllic little close so it's a few minutes walk from anywhere in the town centre
Beautiful breakfast room and nice breakfast.
Nothing. However please note, while there is a car park it's not adjacent to the hotel. I would recommend calling the hotel before travelling there. Do not use the sat nav to get to the hotel as otherwise you will end up driving up a pedestrianised street which isn't ideal and the car park is somewhere else

The reason for my stay was to be close to my husband who is staying in the local hospital. When I arrived I was very shaken and emotional and the ladies who greated me on reception were so incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel was lovely but how the staff treated me will be remembered with gratitude.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, I had nice room with the view on the roof of the hotel (and neighboring roofs) and the breakfast was good in a very pleasant atmosphere.
There was no toilet brush on my bathroom 😳

The location and staff are excellent. Really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was clean and comfy, the bathroom was really modern.
I believe you are paying for the area this hotel is located in and the time of year we went because it was expensive. It could do with a little room updating as there are no plugs by the beds, and the TV had a really poor signal and was unwatchable (I like to watch the news when I'm getting ready)

Fantastic breakfast and service. Nice room in good location. Stairs were a bit of a problem with no handrail.

It’s a beautiful old property
Receptionist friendly and also breakfast waitress
The room was a little too cold, we were not advised that the restaurant wasn’t open on a Sunday or Monday ( we stayed on a Monday night after very many hours of travelling to a funeral and had to go back out to eat.
The night reception gentleman wasn’t too happy when I asked about the restaurant
