Small but very cosy room. Friendly staff and great location.

Our beautiful room over looked the gorgeous harbour. You couldn’t hear the noises from the bar downstairs, which was amazing considering we went to stay on a busy Saturday night when England played in the euros!
The parking wasn’t clearly marked and was confusing with the pay etc.

The view! The breakfast! Friendly staff!
I think the evening menu was overpriced.

The property has just been refurbished and is lovely, the room was very quirky with stairs going up to the en suite and then a step down into the shower, but really comfortable and the location is fantastic.
I suspect we were just unfortunate and there were a few teething problems as the hotel had only been re-open for less than a week. We travelled mid week and we had an evening meal and breakfast. The food was excellent when it came, but service was slow at both meals, both in terms of ordering and food coming out of the kitchen plus there were a number of things missing off the menus and there didn't seem to be a lot of direction.

We stayed the first night after reopening and it was very busy. The staff were very helpful, attentive and coped pretty well with the high volume of food and drink being ordered. Great location and excellent room, very comfy and well appointed. Very happy.
All good

Perfect location
Nothing but travellers should be aware this is an old property with creaky floors…

Due to the circumstances, I was transferred to the Rashleigh Arms, a very pleasant stay, very welcoming, great service for food and drinks, always clean and tidy just like the Pier House will always be a pleasant stay. Hope to visit both the Pier house and Rashleigh again soon.
Nothing. All good.

Service, excellent breakfast, very nice and clean room.....
My room has bad location, with one very tiny window from atrium side, and high level of noise from kitchen air fans.

Location was excellent for beach/bay access - also local facilities and traders. Happy staff and friendly - ladies for room servicing most helpful
Car park a little awkward - cobble stones a bit hard on the ankles and quite congested. Very busy restaurant but was high tourist season.

Wonderful, welcoming staff and wonderful location. Breakfast included in price and was excellent. Free parking in a nearby car park. Good food and options close to accommodation.
Close to The Eden Project.
Poor mobile signal in the area (nothing the hosts can do anything about).

lovely location, right on the pier
bit disappointed that the website was incorrect in terms of when the pub closed for food. I had rushed there from a few hours away and didn’t stop as I would be there in time, but it turned out the website was wrong. everything was also closed by then so not much I could do!
