Lobby very clean and pretty, Breakfast was a highlight and Rooms always boujee and clean’ish!
The bed wasn’t made properly and the bed sheet wasn’t quite big enough for the bed, it kept coming off the bed. Not sure if noise was coming from below our room or down the hallway, but we could hear people talking and their TV in our room (Room 6)

The location was great, the breakfast was lovely and the room was fab
The close proximity to the road. I know this can’t be helped but for the lakes the road was noisy and busy from really early so we didn’t sleep the best.

The breakfast was really nice and the rooms are lovely. We have stayed before and we would stay again. Bonus to be able to book the spa hotel nearby at a discounted rate when staying.
The parking situation could be improved though it isnt the end of the world to park on the overspill of the other hotel.

We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and decorated to a high standard. it felt very luxurious and was spotless clean. Free high quality toiletries and refreshments available in the room. There was a tv in room with free Sky, Netflix, etc. Iron, hairdryer, electric fan in room. TV in bathroom near bath. it was the deepest and best bath I’ve ever had. Quality bath robes in room. Very quiet, no noise at all. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, spoilt for choice, from eggs Benedict, fresh salmon, a full Cumbrian breakfast and lots more. Top quality ingredients which were cooked perfectly. Beautiful dining room and the staff were extremely attentive.
Free parking. Located one minute walk from the town centre, near lots of shops, restaurants and bars.
A lovely touch of a gift of homemade flapjacks when checking out.
Nothing at all
