Location, free parking, close to hotel entrance
Only steps to entrance , so heavy suitcase.was . challenge. Ordered pancakes but they were raw.
Seems a bit tired in some places, duvets were thin, beds very soft. Grounds are lovely.

It was a lovely setting and the staff were great
The water had failed which was no fault of the property, just made it a little inconvenient.

Staff
Spar charge of £20:00 per person, bit of a shock when you’re not told when booking at a spar break hotel (£197:00)all we wanted was to use was the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna for three hours, my local spar hotel would have been a better deal, not impressed.😕🙁

Staff where very friendly and check in was quick and efficient.
The beds where uncomfortable they should in the summer dress the bed with a sheet so you can choose either a duvet or the sheet and found the pillows was to soft . The TV was very old needs updating half the channels don’t work

Only comment was that felt though evening meal was tasty and enjoyable but the menu could of had abit more selection

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The location was fantastic and near to places to visit. The setting was lovely with gorgeous gardens to relax in. Also the bar and lounge areas were extremely inviting to sit and socialise with a drink or just chill out with a book. The staff were amazing. They were extremely friendly and sorted out any questions immediately.
Liked everything.

The service and staff at the hotel was exemplary, and we enjoyed the quality of the breakfast food. Our evening meal was fine but for a restaurant felt the menu choice was limited, and we couldn't understand why they did not use the conservatory.
The hotel is a little tired and requires some basic maintenance and modernisation in parts. The grounds were not the best kept. Our room was very small and didn't quite meet our expectation.

Service was great, room just as I pictured, great outdoor area, and nothing was problem to them.
I was in room 18, which was the perfect size for me, and quality size tv, in the room. It was extremely peaceful, and I slept well, without many disturbance.
It was a great choice for breakfast, and it caters for everyone, including vegan. Dinner were well organised, and well worth wait.
Nothing....it was perfect.

The staff were friendly and helpful, it was clean very spacious. The food was tasty.
The rooms could do with some paint work done and make it look all fresh the hotel was way too hot and couldn't open the sash windows as there old , the menu was very limited and small I think this needs updating to offer a more selection. Shame I couldn't get in for spa treatments as I was looking forward to having this whilst I was there the pool area was good and clean enjoyed my swim apart from hitting my foot as it was a little shallow.

Hi yes we did leave early and didn’t have breakfast , this was due to the room being dirty , cobwebs hanging from ceiling dirt around skirting boards , there was a funny looking bottle on the window seal witch I’ve asked the chemist and they said it was a form of drug
The lift wasn’t working and the reason we booked was due to my partner suffering from arthritis , none of the above is exceptable
I want the room discounted as not worth £165 especially without even using your hotel , I have pics if needed many thanks

nice hotel well located for a getaway weekend interrupted by a day of work at the hospital. The breakfast buffet was very good.
Didn’t like the fact that the room we were given had an overgrown tree blocking the view outside.

Nice breakfast and bar, right on the golf course
Awful bed. At nearly £160 for the night it is simply unacceptable to have 2 single beds pushed together for a double room.

extra to pay for the spa
