The food was good & the building was full of character.
More attention to detail is required when cleaning.

The staff was very nice. The size of the room was fine and there were lots of towels.
We stayed in the family room and it felt dirty, pubic hairs in one of the twin beds, stains on the carpet. I don't think the bedding was changed from the last guest, but we arrived at 8pm/20:00 hr, so we just suffered through it. The bathroom had a large puddle of water on the floor and mold around the sink. We had dinner and breakfast there and the food was terrible, but we did arrive 30 minutes before the kitchen was going to close and they were nice enoughto let us order. My son had chicken that was so dry it must had been sitting out for hours before they served it. They should have just said it wasn't available instead of serving it. The pizza was bland and the scrambled eggs at breakfast tasted like they were bad. I was just shocked because it was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip to England, but the only one that was a disappointment.

The village setting was lovely, the food was very nice, the staff were very attentive.
I can't think of anything I disliked about this hotel.

Friendly, comfortable and wonderful breakfast
4.2
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, interesting pub, good beer, excellent evening meal, good shower and plenty of room in the bathroom.
Room was cold when we arrived, no central heating, TV had very poor signal and was difficult to work until the Landlord put that right. Only 1 door key issued between 2.

The food was absolutely amazing.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Parking was good.

Great size room, all mod cons. Lovely family pub, staff were friendly and welcoming.
Food was tasty and service was great. Would recommend staying here.
Flar pillow

Dinner was very nice. Location was great for where we needed to be
Our toilet wouldn't flush properly. No hot water. Not family friendly at all, felt un wanted And Rude staff. I found paper from raw meat in my Breakfast bagel. Rooms smelt musty and mouldy. Also the room had a pull off wall tv which was in a ridiculous place in front of the entrance.
4.2
Efficient, friendly service at all points of contact. Good to stay in a family managed hotel that gets its customer priorities absolutely right.
Steak and kidney pie excellent too.
Nothing about which one might complain.
4.2
The food was nice and breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
The room was dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable and the wooden bed frames even when moving around on them will wake your partner up they where soo creaky. The shower stopped working on our first morning there which is understandable as faults do occur so we switched rooms. But again the new room was very dirty and beds very uncomfortable. All in all just needed new mattresses and a good spring clean. But ending positive the staff are friendly and very helpful.

4.2
lovely quiet room
The ensuite bathroom could’ve done with a upgrade wc toilet roll Holder-hanging off the wall the toilet brush was very rusty. the liver was overcooked or reheated. Staff could’ve been more friendly serving the meals
4.2
The location was excellent, as were the staff, who were very helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and was filling. Parking on site. The shower pressure was superb.
The bed was very uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved. The shower leaked very badly on the bathroom floor. The corridor smelled of smoke and the rooms are not very well soundproofed, with every movement heard from the room above.
4.2
Breakfast was delicious. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We are in the Camden arms both nights and could not fault the food.
Difficult to find anything to criticise!

Great food and great staff
4.2
The room was lovely, bed super comfy and all spotlessly clean. Both dinner and breakfast were lovely, quality products used and really ell cooked. Lots of choice for both breakfast and dinner.
4.2
Very convenient. Car parking was easy and very close to bedroom. Staff were friendly and chatty. Breakfasts were superb. As we were visiting family, we didn't have occasion to eat in the evening. Very easy access to the A21 and to Tunbridge Wells made the locution ideal.
Not a lot.
The extraction fan in the shower room was a bit noisy, especially in the middle of the night.
For security, ancient Japanese castles were often built with "Nightingale floors" designed to "sing" when walked on them, however gently. I think our room had one!
4.2
I cannot fault anything other than the awful bed. Service and food were excellent.
The bed is one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on..it was rock hard.
4.2
The food was very good all fresh and nicely presented..definitely the highlight of the w/end
The 4 poster bedroom we booked was very nice, quite a lot of furniture crammed into a not so big room which made it look cramped! The bed was so uncomfortable, due to the mattress being too hard.. we didn't sleep well because of it..its a 4 star but had no hairdryer.. which was annoying as my partner didn't bring one as we fully expected it to have one...
